Outfit-Making Accessories with Saks OFF 5TH

I love a minimalist neutral outfit, but that can get boring, especially without a top layer to add interest. The key is to be intentional about using texture and accessories to their full advantage, and Saks OFF 5TH is my best kept secret for finding designer brands at discounted prices.

I found a great pair of Joe’s wide leg jeans in a light wash that’s perfect for spring (similar here), and I paired them with an ivory Gestuz cable knit cotton shell. Unfortunately, the shell is low inventory, but I found another nice option here.

Both of these pieces are good quality basics that can be mixed and matched, and I love how the cable knit detail on the sweater adds textural interest to this simple look.

To keep the look light and airy, I added a pair of Steven New York slides in a linen and leather tone-on-tone design. These have the look of a high end designer brand, but they’re under $50 at Saks OFF 5TH.

I thought this orYANY Iguana Embossed Leather Top Handle Bag was a really fun addition to the look. It adds another element of texture, plus tangerine is such a happy color. It’s very small, so definitely more of a going-out bag, or good for ladies who like to carry only the essentials.

These large twisted gold hoops were also a Saks OFF 5TH find. I love the size, and the twisted design is so pretty. They elevate the simple outfit and bring the eye back up to my face.

And as I always say, no outfit is complete without a great pair of sunglasses! Saks OFF 5TH has tons of great options right now.

These round GUCCI round sunglasses are a little smaller than my cat-eye pair that I sadly misplaced, but I think they’re a nice fit for my face.

They’re comfortable too, and you can’t beat the price for designer sunglasses. They even came with a chic branded case, as well as the dust cloth and other official paperwork.

With a simple switch of a few key accessories, this outfit takes on a whole new look. I’m wearing the same earrings, but this time I added snake embossed leather sandals and a gorgeous woven tote with leather trim.

Here’s another pretty tote option for less. And if snake print isn’t your thing, I also really love these knot sandals in the neutral tan.

I also swapped out my black plastic frames for these PRADA oval sunglasses in the pretty Havana Brown. Rounder frames are trending this season, and these fit right in. They’re also very lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Saks OFF 5TH also has my favorite ATM Schoolboy Jersey T-Shirt in a really pretty wisteria color for half off, and you better believe I snapped it right up!

These are such high quality tees, but they do sell fast once they get marked down, so there are only a few sizes left. It also comes in pink, and I recommend sizing up in these tees. I wear a medium.

Simple yet elevated outfits are always my favorites, and Saks OFF 5TH is a great place to get these designer looks for less and help you transition your style for spring!

  1. I love the orange bag in your first outfit and at first glance I thought it was tan so not too orangey! Another item to go on my list…..,looking forward to all of your posts & updates from Florida!! Xxx

  2. It’s a balmy 24 here this morning, in south central Georgia. I know you and Cyndi will enjoy the sunshine, warmer temps than at your homes, and catching up in person. And I know that y’all will get some great pictures. The accessories in both of these outfits really did take the outfit up a notch.

  3. Can’t wait for your pics with Cyndi.. any chance of the combined posts again? Have fun hope it warms up

  4. You came back to Jax during a cold snap. Hope it warms up before you have to go back. Friday looks really nice!

  5. Love simple lately. I really find since Covid I e gotten more casual. Have to push myself to dress up.
Looked at my phone AP weather for today here in NW Oregon. Says 34 and snow flurries to start at 8 am. Ugh. We just had sunny Spring like weather yesterday and finally hit 50’s. Colder here than usual this time of year. Enjoy the warm.

  6. This is great! Casual defines me and my lifestyle, but I’m wanting to level it up just a bit, much like you did here. We were in the 80’s last week, but lows in the 40’s right now. Hope you are able to get some warm Florida sunshine before you go back home!

  7. Very cute outfit, too bad the sweater vest doesn’t have my size. Can we see some high heel sandals or wedges next time? That’s what I’d probably wear with wide leg jeans, to make me feel slimmer. 🙂
