I’ve always been a jewelry girl, but not necessarily an accessories girl. Learning to accessorize takes practice, creativity, and a certain panache, but every woman can wear jewelry. Isn’t that a wonderful thing!?!
Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about the art of accessorizing, but I’m still a sucker for good quality, classic pieces of jewelry that go with everything and elevate even the simplest of outfits to something special. While I like to add a piece of fashion jewelry to my outfits here and there, I find myself going back to the timeless classics over and over again.
Phillip Gavriel is a jewelry collection with roots in Florence, Italy, that is inspired by the designer’s personal experiences and passions. Each piece is crafted in gold, sterling silver, and precious gemstones, and all the items in the woven collection are completely constructed by hand.
I was invited to sample a few of their pieces and share them with you, so I chose a necklace and two bracelets to try out. I was thrilled when my Phillip Gavriel arrived in the mail and was every bit as luxurious in person as it looks in the pictures online.
The diamond x lariat necklace is on trend yet classic, and the sterling silver popcorn cuff bracelet and cultured pearl cuff are awesome layering pieces. Layering several pieces of fine jewelry instantly makes a basic daily outfit seem elegant and sophisticated, and these two cuff bracelets look fantastic together, or you can add them to other pieces you own to make it an even bigger arm party. And who doesn’t love a good party?
The best part, though, is this jewelry is more affordable than competitors’ pieces. I compared their prices to some of the designer brands I’m more familiar with, and the price difference is significant. I’m pretty sure that’s a sign that you should buy more than one piece at a time. After all, if one is good, two is better. At least that’s true for wine, but I digress…
This is the type of present I love to find under the Christmas tree. It’s personal and meaningful, you can wear it every day, and it lasts forever.
You can find Phillip Gavriel at Ross Simons or use the Phillip Gavriel Store Locator to find a retailer near you that carries the collection.

Jolynne, I enjoy reading your blog daily. Could you please tell me where this beige sweater is from? Thanks
Hi Karen. It’s old, unfortunately. It came from Trunk Club. 🙂
Thanks for this post, Jo-Lynne! Beautiful jewellery, it does make a basic outfit look elegant and sophisticated. Btw the link for Phillip Gavriel at Ross-Simons at the bottom of the last photo links back to this post rather than to Ross-Simons.
Have a great time away! I hope your cold went away. Csilla
Lovely ! What kind of wine?- always need a good recommendation !
It’s a cab but not sure which brand it was. We often buy Bogle. Their Pinot Noir is really good too. 🙂 ????
