I have been debating about the Gap Factory “set” with the wide legged pants (not a set, but top and bottom). They look so comfy.
I only sleep in Soma cool nights. They are so comfy.
They are similar, just thicker.
So sorry to hear you were in the ER with Becca. I know it’s hard waiting. I thought of this verse in Isaiah 40:31. I heard a sermon by David Jeremiah one time on this verse. He said secret of courageous strength is waiting. Waiting can be so hard. He said there are 5 benefits of waiting……….Gives us Perception, Protection, Perpective, Provision, and Power. High school age is hard when you are down with mono. You feel like you are missing out and you are, but she also is learning life lessons through this time about waiting on the Lord and patience. I’m afraid us mamas need to learn this too. My daughter actually did better with mono than I did watching her go through it. Oh one last thing. He said in the sermon that Waiting allows your soul to grow up. Love this. There were verses to each benefit he shared but this comment is long enough and I didn’t mean to give a sermon. 😃lol. I think of Becca often as our daughters deal with the same issues and I’ll continue to pray for her. Thanks for all the great sales. I haven’t shopped much last two weeks. Been down with Covid. Still trying to gain my strength back. It’s my 3 rd time. Yikes.
Oh, dear. You really have had it rough with the ‘rona. I love the lesson on the 5 benefits of waiting. Good to remember there is a purpose in all of this.
Hope your daughter feels better soon. I love the Gap wide leg pants set-considering it; especially if you can mix it up with denim jacket or wear top with jeans. Also, the Q&A yesterday about types of sneakers/flats etc to wear with longer jeans was awesome. I love that look! Hope to wear it in the summer too. Thanks for all you do!!

I loved all your posts this week about spring fashion! Right now I’m getting ready to review each and make a list to shop my closet, and then see what needs replacing/updated, and then added to breathe some freshness into my spring wardrobe. I did this with your winter fashion posts too, and wow, it made such a difference! I felt like I got more mileage out of everything in my closet. I also like how you show lots of options for each item. It helps me look at the details of each to determine what will blend the most with my personal style.

So I’m going to see my son at college in Maine the second week of March. I live in Houston and do not have a warm winter coat. I need something for the trip. I don’t want to spend a ton because this is not an item I need in my every day life. I’d prefer a neutral color coat. Any suggestions?

I am praying for your daughter! I had mono my freshman year in high school and it was definitely no fun. I hate that it’s interrupting her senior year. Hopefully y’all were able to rest today.
