Transitional Try-On Haul from EVEREVE, Anthro, Gap Factory & More

Hi there, happy Friday! I’ve got a new try-on haul for you today with fresh finds from EVEREVE, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Aritzia, J.Crew & Gap Factory. I went to the mall with a friend last week, and we checked out a few favorite stores, plus I have a few fun pieces from recent online orders. There’s lots of good stuff in this round—let’s get into it!

As usual, I will provide measurements and fabric content on each item when I can find it, and I’ll share whether I plan to keep it or not. Just remember, even when I decide not to keep something, it doesn’t mean it isn’t worth checking out. I just may not need it, or it may not work for my body type or lifestyle.

Fresh Fashion Finds to Wear Now & Later

SIZING NOTES: I’m 5’5″ and I usually wear a small or medium in tops and dresses, a 29 or 30 in jeans and pants, and a size 8 shoe. Gifted items are indicated by c/o; everything else I purchased myself.

EVEREVE Fitting Room Try-Ons

We started our shopping day at EVEREVE, always a favorite! The store is light and bright and well-organized, the racks aren’t over-stuffed, and the sales associates are always super friendly and helpful. (They just kicked off a Clearance Sale, by the way, with up to 70% off discontinued styles!)

Gia Cowl Neck Top in Folkstone Grey

at EVEREVE (M) // Good American jeans (10) // Dolce Vita flats (8)

DETAILS: A chic staple for dressing up or down, the Gia top by EVEREVE is made from soft knit fabric and features a relaxed silhouette with a cowl neckline and cap sleeves.

  • Cowl Neck
  • Length from Shoulder to Hem: 22 1/2″
  • Material: 76% Polyester, 19% Lyocell, 5% Spandex Knit
  • Care: Machine Wash, Wash Cold, Dry Flat

I had this top last fall in chocolate brown and dark green, and I was thrilled to see it brought back for spring in lighter colors. This ‘Folkstone Grey’ is such a pretty shade of blue. I’m wearing the medium here, but it may be too big. I checked my others when I got home, and they’re both size small.

VERDICT: I purchased this, I’m going to exchange for a small.

Good American Good Waist Palazzo Crop in Bone

at EVEREVE (10) // Gia Cowl (M) // Dolce Vita flats (8)

DETAILS: A voluminous wide leg defines these fun and flattering jeans by Good American. Updated with an ankle-length inseam, the Good Waist Palazzo features a gap-proof waistband, soft stretch denim, and a versatile ecru wash that’s perfect for dressing up or down.

  • 10 3/4″ Front Rise; 26 1/2″ Inseam
  • 66% Cotton, 25% Recycled Cotton, 7% Elasterell-P, 2% Elastane Denim
  • Care: Machine Wash, Wash Cold, Dry Flat, Wash Inside Out

I love the ecru wash and the shape of these wide-leg crop jeans—the length is just right, but the waistband was incredibly snug, even when I sized up to a 10. These are definitely designed for those with a more defined waist-to-hip ratio (i.e., a smaller waist in proportion to the hips).

VERDICT: These jeans are not for me, but if you have issues with pants gaping in the waist, they might be a great fit for you.

KUT from the Kloth Miller Trouser

at EVEREVE (8) // Gia Cowl (M) // Dolce Vita flats (8)

DETAILS: The wear-everywhere Miller pant by Kut From The Kloth features a wide leg silhouette with a high-rise waist, full-length inseam, and trouser-style pockets for a polished feel. Dress them up with a blouse and mules, or pair with a tee and slides for an everyday look.

  • 11 1/2″ Front Rise; 30″ Inseam
  • Material: 56% Cotton, 43% Rayon, 1% Spandex Weave
  • Care: Machine Wash, Wash Cold, Hang To Dry

I usually love this brand, but these pants were a disappointment—they’re thin and just looked sloppy.

VERDICT: Needless to say, I passed on these.

Joelle Stretch Linen Trouser

at EVEREVE (29) // black top (S) // ivory top (S) // rag & bone boots (39)

DETAILS: Add effortless style to your work-to-weekend wardrobe with the Joelle trouser by EVEREVE. These wide leg pants are crafted in comfortable stretch linen fabric with a high-rise waist, full-length inseam, and patch pockets.

  • Front Rise: 11 1/2″ Front Rise; 31″ Inseam; 24″ Leg Opening
  • Material: 51% Linen, 48% Lyocell, 1% Spandex Woven
  • Care: Machine Wash, Wash Cold, Tumble Dry Low, Do Not Bleach

These pants have a similar style, but the quality feels better—not quite as thin as the Miller Trouser, and they fit me better. That said, I still didn’t love how I felt in them. The high rise is comfortable, but all I could focus on was the expanse of fabric across my middle. Looking at these pictures, though, I’m having second thoughts…

VERDICT: I passed on them for now, but I might revisit them with sandals and different top/shoe combinations.

Sanctuary Sundays Best Popover

at EVEREVE (S) // (not sure about these jeans) // Dolce Vita flats (8)

DETAILS: Take any look from day to night with the Sundays Best Popover from Sanctuary. Crafted in a lightweight woven material, this blouse features a relaxed, flowy silhouette, long puff sleeves, and a split v-neckline with half-placket button closures.

  • Length from Shoulder to Hem: 24″
  • Material: 100% Lyocell
  • Care: Hand Wash, Wash Cold, Hang To Dry

I think this blouse is really pretty, and it looks great with grey jeans, but it’s very thin. I also don’t love the extra smocked band on the puff sleeves.

VERDICT: I decided to leave this one in-store.

Nation LTD Callan Sweatshirt

on sale at EVEREVE (S) // Pistola Kinsley (29) // rag & bone boots (39)

DETAILS: Elevate your everyday look with the Callan Sweatshirt by Nation LTD, featuring a henley neckline with gold snaps, comfy cotton fabric, and elastic cuffs.

  • Length from Shoulder to Hem: 23″
  • Material: 100% Cotton Knit
  • Care: Wash Cold, Tumble Dry Low

This is a fun take on a ‘beyond basic’ sweatshirt. I love the gold button detail, and the 100% cotton fabric is super soft with a nice mid-weight feel. That said, it felt a little pricey for what it is, and the sleeves seemed a bit short on me.

VERDICT: I didn’t bring this one home, but now that it’s on sale, I might reconsider.

EVEREVE Jaden Stud Muscle Tee in Washed Black

at EVEREVE (S) (also in white) // Pistola Kinsley (29) // rag & bone boots (39)

DETAILS: A studded neckline adds a stylish edge to the Jaden muscle tee by EVEREVE. This crewneck tee is perfect day-to-night wear, crafted in soft cotton slub fabric with pleated cap sleeves.

  • Length from Shoulder to Hem: 23 1/4″
  • Material: 100% Cotton Knit; Contrast: 58% Cotton, 39% Polyester, 3% Spandex Rib Knit
  • Care: Machine Wash, Wash Cold, Tumble Dry Low, Use Non-Chlorine Bleach

I was immediately drawn to this top—the studded detail gives it that subtle edgy vibe I love, especially on the black slub cotton tee. (It also comes in white.)

I was a little unsure about the pleated cap sleeves. I generally like a muscle tee silhouette, but these felt a bit extra. After taking photos from different angles, though, I decided I like them… or at least, I don’t hate them.

VERDICT: I brought this one home! I also tried the medium, but everyone agreed the small looked better on me—so fingers crossed it doesn’t shrink.

Nation Ltd. Yvette Top

at EVEREVE (S) // Pistola Kinsley (29) // rag & bone boots (39)

DETAILS: An elevated take on your everyday tee, the Yvette Top by Nation LTD is crafted in soft cotton fabric and features a mockneck silhouette with a colorblocked design, short sleeves, and functional gold snaps at the shoulder.

  • Neckline: Mock Neck
  • Length from Shoulder to Hem: 22 3/4″
  • Material: 100% Cotton Knit
  • Care: Machine Wash, Wash Cold, Tumble Dry Low

I didn’t pick this top—the sales associate pulled it for me, so I gave it a try. But honestly, I’m not a fan. The length and width of the sleeves aren’t flattering on me, and the color blocking feels a bit too harsh.

VERDICT: I left this at the store.

EVEREVE Aiden Crop Shirting in Tan/Cream Stripe

at EVEREVE (M) (also in Blue Stripe) // FRAME Le Sleek (29) // Lada booties

DETAILS: Crafted in striped cotton fabric, this button-down shirt by EVEREVE is perfect for work-to-weekend wear, featuring long sleeves with button tabs, a left chest pocket, and a cropped silhouette for a chic, modern feel.

  • Length from Shoulder to Hem: 22″
  • Material: 100% Cotton Woven
  • Care: Machine Wash, Tumble Dry Low

Now this top, I really like! I often struggle with button-ups, but this boxy cropped style is so easy to wear—no tucking required. The split hem and slight dip in the back make it especially flattering. I also love how the tan and cream stripe ties into the light neutral trend for spring, though it also comes in a crisp blue that’s also really pretty.

VERDICT: I bought this one. I didn’t get photos in-store, so I snapped these at home a few days later.

Georgia Floral Dress

at EVEREVE (S)

DETAILS: Elevate your dress collection with the effortlessly chic Georgia Floral Dress by EVEREVE, featuring a v-neckline, midi length, and an elastic waistband that flows into a tiered skirt.

  • Length from Shoulder to Hem: 51″
  • Material: Shell: 85% Rayon, 15% Nylon Lining: 100% Rayon
  • Care: Machine Wash, Wash Cold, Dry Flat

I love the fabric on this one—it’s such a pretty spring print—but this tiered skirt style does nothing for me. It completely hides my waist, and on top of that, the size small felt a little snug. I’m sure sizing up would only make it worse.

VERDICT: Nope! No bueno.

Anthropologie Fitting Room Try-Ons

After we finished up at EVEREVE, we wandered over to Anthropologie, where I pulled a couple of tops to try. Side note: They’re having an Extra 40% Off Sale, and there are some nice pieces, if you can find your size.

MAEVE The Carys Mock-Neck Sweater in Neutral Motif

at Anthropologie (S) // Pistola Kinsley (29) // rag & bone boots (39)

DETAILS: Softly structured, the top-rated Carys Sweater features a relaxed fit and on-trend mock neck.

  • Elbow-length short sleeves
  • 21.5″ Length
  • 50% viscose, 29% polyester, 21% nylon
  • Hand wash

Let’s just say this one looked much better on the hanger. The fabric is a nice, substantial knit, but it doesn’t drape at all, so the fit ended up looking stiff and awkward on me. If I were to wear it, I’d leave it untucked.

VERDICT: I left this one in store.

Bell-Sleeve V-Neck Sweater

at Anthropologie (S) // Pistola Kinsley (29) // rag & bone boots (39)

This one almost worked—it has a lot of great details, like the textured knit, wide ribbed trim on the v-neck, and those statement bell sleeves. But the fabric felt surprisingly rough (not soft or cozy at all), and while I like the idea of the sleeves, they were just a little too dramatic for my style.

VERDICT: I passed on this one too.

More Recent Fashion Finds from J.Crew, Aritzia, Gap Factory, Nordstrom & More

Back home, here are a few more recent arrivals. While we were at the mall, we also popped into Aritzia because I wanted to check out their sweats. I tried on a few different styles, but I didn’t take any pictures in-store—so I’m just sharing what I ended up bringing home.

Cozy Sweatfleece Perfect Crew Sweatshirt + Cozy Sweatfleece Mega Sweatpants

Sweatfleece sweatshirt at Aritzia (S) // Sweatfleece pants at Aritzia (S) // UGG Ultra Mini (8)

DETAILS for sweatshirt: It’s all in the name — because it really is the Perfect Crew, expertly proportioned and finished with ribbed neckline, cuffs and hem.

  • Length: Hip — Intended to hit at or below the hip
  • Ribbed neckline, cuffs and hem
  • Exclusive Aritzia embroidery
  • Content: 78% cotton, 22% polyester
  • Machine wash

DETAILS for sweatpants: Meet our famous oversized sweatpants, designed with a high rise, lots of volume and a waistband that can be worn rolled or unrolled depending on your preference/mood.

  • Fit: Mega — Oversized with room to move
  • Rise: High
  • Length: Ankle — Intended to hit at the ankle
  • Inseam: Size S is 28″ — Inseam varies by size
  • Content: 78% cotton, 22% polyester
  • Machine wash

Aritzia’s Sweatfleece is super thick and soft and cozy, but I’m still undecided on the overall style. I bought them, as you can see, mainly to wear at home. The “cool girls” would throw on a long, oversized wool coat and wear them out for errands—but I’m not sure I’m that cool, lol.

VERDICT: I like these, so I’m not sure why I haven’t been reaching for them. I think I just prefer a softer knit. That said, they’re really cute, on-trend, and very cozy. Definitely worth checking out if you like the look!

FREJA Caroline Bag in Oat

at FREJA & REVOLVE // J.Crew Daphne coat (6) // Hustler Roller Skimp (29)

DETAILS: An elegant, 90s inspired silhouette with thin rolled straps and fine topstitch detail. Designed without any hardware so you can easily pair it with anything, and even tuck the flap inside for a different look. Handcrafted in our supple vegan ultrafiber leather, and lined in our signature merlot ultrafiber.

  • Faux leather exterior and interior
  • 12″ W x 5.25″ H x 2.75″ D
  • 9.5″ strap drop

I love the design of this east-west bag—the double straps are long enough to sit comfortably over the shoulder, which is a big plus. I went with the ivory color since it feels perfect for spring and summer.

Side note: I thought it was leather… but it turns out it’s not. So, do with that what you will.

VERDICT: I’m keeping it! It’s definitely pricey for “vegan leather,” but no one would ever know, and it truly is a gorgeous bag.

New Icon Trench

at J.Crew (6) // LOFT striped sweater (S) // MOTHER Dazzler Flood Fray (29) // Jeffrey Campbell boat shoe (8.5)

DETAILS: Everything you love about the 2011 Icon trench coat (read:… water-repellent fabric, poppable collar, adjustable belted waist) with a few helpful updates. We’ve added a removable hood and a classic fit that’s a little more relaxed so you can wear this coat all the time, rain or shine.

  • Body length: 39″
  • Sleeve length: 32 1/4″
  • 100% cotton
  • 100% polyester lining
  • Machine wash

This is a classic trench in every sense—timeless design, great quality. I wear a size 6 in their wool coats, so that’s what I ordered, but it felt a bit snug through the upper arms and shoulders. I think I’d need an 8 for a better fit.

I already have a trench, but it’s a longer, single-breasted style. I was curious to try a knee-length option with my trip to England in May in mind, but this might be bulkier than I want. I’m still figuring out what style of coat will be best—something versatile, for sure.

VERDICT: This one went back since it was too small. I’ll keep it in mind, but I may order a few other options to try.

FRAME Le Sleek High Waist Ankle Straight Leg Jeans in Marsa

at Nordstrom & Shopbop (29) // Madewell sweater (S) // Doice Vita Damaria flats (8)

DETAILS: Super stretchy denim enhances the sleek, classic silhouette of high-rise straight-leg jeans that play a key role in your casual wardrobe.

  • 28″ inseam; 16″ leg opening; 11″ front rise
  • Zip fly with button closure
  • Five-pocket style
  • 77% cotton, 18% modal, 4% elasterell-p, 1% elastane
  • Machine wash, dry flat

I ordered these jeans because they’re a new-to-me style, and I thought they might be a great straight-leg option to have. They strike a nice balance between a slim straight ankle jean and a more relaxed straight-leg fit.

At first, I thought they looked a little frumpy, but the more I looked at them, the more I started to like them. They pair really well with this classic striped sweater and pointy-toe flats, which definitely helps pull the look together.

Here’s how they look with boat shoes… It works, but I prefer the lower vamp of the woven flats above with this jean length. Showing more skin on the top of the foot creates a more streamlined, slimming effect.

Next, I tried them with ankle boots, and I think this pairing works pretty well.

VERDICT: I’m undecided on these, but they do seem versatile, and they’re different from anything else in my closet. Keep reading to see more ways I styled them!

Madewell Cotton Crewneck Sweater in Bright Ivory Navy Stripe

at Nordstrom (S) // FRAME Le Sleek (29)

DETAILS: This relaxed cotton sweater is not only effortless, it’s also the perfect throw-on-and-go layer.

  • 24″ length (size Medium)
  • 100% cotton
  • Machine wash, tumble dry

This is a really well-made piece with a classic look and feel. The 100% cotton knit has a slightly loose weave that’s soft and comfortable—not too thin, not too thick. I love the traditional cut and the 24″ length, and the split sleeve detail adds a fun touch.

I also think this sweater would look great draped over the shoulders… if I ever remember to do that!

VERDICT: I’m holding onto this one for now—I really like it! But at this rate, my entire spring wardrobe is just going to be striped sweaters.

Dolce Vita Damaria Woven Flat in Beige

at EVEREVE & Nordstrom (8) // FRAME Le Sleek (29)

DETAILS: Basket-woven leather brings rich texture to this wardrobe-staple flat completed with an elegant pointy toe.

  • Heel Height: 1/2″
  • Material: Leather Upper

I was drawn to these the second I saw them—something about the flattering silhouette, the woven texture, and the perfect shade of beige to complement my skin tone. Thankfully, they’re just as good as I’d hoped! They’re incredibly comfortable and flattering on the foot. While darker browns are trending this season, I really love this lighter beige in this style.

VERDICT: I think these are keepers!

VERDICT: I think I’m keeping these.

Cable-Knit Crewneck Sweater in Dull Pink Rose

on sale at Gap Factory (S) // FRAME Le Sleek (29) // Veronica Beard Lada (8.5)

DETAILS:

  • 100% Cotton
  • Machine wash cold.

I ordered this relaxed cable crewneck in the powdery pink from Gap Factory. As I mentioned in my Spring Trends Report, this shade of pink is having a moment right now. It’s a soft and a comfortable mid-weight cotton knit, and I like the cable pattern.

Side note: Gap Factory just kicked off their Presidents’ Day Sale, with 50–70% off full-price styles, plus an extra 10% off in cart and an extra 50% off clearance — which brings this sweater down to just $19.99!

VERDICT: I don’t know if I love it enough to keep it, but it’s really pretty. Maybe I need to try it with lighter wash jeans, or even white.

Roll Neck Sweater in Sage Green

at Gap Factory (S) // FRAME Le Sleek (29) // Veronica Beard Lada (8.5)

DETAILS:

  • 100% Cotton
  • Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low.

This is another cotton sweater that would make a great transitional piece, and I like the roll neck for added interest. I think it would pair beautifully with ecru denim. Sadly, this colorway is almost sold out, but there are still a few other options available.

VERDICT: I’m keeping this one.

Canvas Utility Jacket in Tan Chino

at Gap Factory (S) // FRAME Le Sleek (29) // Veronica Beard Lada (8.5)

DETAILS:

  • 100% Cotton
  • Machine wash cold

I liked the boxy fit of this jacket online, but in person, it leans more toward a traditional utility jacket—which is feeling a bit tired to me right now. That said, I do love the ecru color.

VERDICT: I realized I can un-cinch the waist to achieve a more modern look, so I want to play around with it a bit before deciding.

Relaxed Fleece Zip Hoodie in White

at Gap Factory (S) // FRAME Le Sleek(29) // Veronica Beard Lada (8.5)

DETAILS:

  • 77% Cotton, 23% Polyester
  • Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low

Finally, this is such a cute hoodie for spring and summer! The sweatshirt material gives it a casual, sporty feel, but the white keeps it looking crisp and fresh. I also love the shorter length.

VERDICT: Keeping this one!

And that’s a wrap! Thanks for following along—let me know if you’ve spotted any fun new pieces for spring. I always love hearing what’s catching your eye!

  1. I like the straight leg jeans and the full length off white pants. I didn’t like the ankle length ones. I disliked what you are sending back especially the dress. The shoes and purse are cute too. At this point I’m not buying sweaters. Did you listen to Jen’s podcast about breaking her own rules? She said not to buy in February or August unless it’s something you really need. I found out that I break those rules or never followed them for the same reason she does. For example the Loft wedge T-shirt you styled in white. I ordered the red which is really a cranberry color. I liked the fit and how the sleeves didn’t show my underarm skin. It’s the closest to a sleeveless top I can wear in public. The fact it was a petite size is a plus too. I ordered a white one and a black one. I’m expecting them today. So now I have multiples but when the hot weather comes I can wear something that feels sleeveless with confidence in public. I have enjoyed your spring trends and always enjoy the try-ons.

  2. Thanks for post. You purchased only what I would have. All of the white pants look like they are too big for you. You may want to try the ecru kick flare from Wit and Wisdom I just bought and was pleasantly surprised at quality and fit. I always pass by the brand thinking they look cheap. I too heard Jen’s podcast about not purchasing in Feb, but some retailers offer 20% off at this time and if you wait it does not come back around.

  3. Super fun! Did you decide to keep the Frame straights? I ordered too recently… per usual we are on the same track! Stay tuned on how they work for me.
I was very drawn to the jeans you wore on your shopping day! They look SO GOOD on you! I’m not much of a flare gal but I may try. HOW MANY JEANS ARE TOO MANY?!?! Ha!
I agree the color of the woven flat is lovely, my first impression was the fit (or un-fit) on your foot. I think you can do better…. Maybe with a more quality leather that is more supple to lay closer to your foot? I’m super picky about shoes, so I won’t transfer that to you, simply an observation!
I’m curious about the Joelle pant from Evereve. I remember it from last year but I thought it was a button fly. I wonder how they hold their shape?
    Hope you are spoiled today!

    1. I agree on the fit of flats. I have returned several due to the side gap. I can’t get past that when looking down at my feet. I love shoes but am very picky about them too!

    2. Yeah, I do believe the Joelle has been around for a while. I much prefer the zip. I’m keeping the Frame for now. I’m not sure a girl can have too many jeans… 🤪

As for the shoes, I see what you mean, but ballet flats always gape like that on me. I have narrow heels and a wide toe box and flat, low profile feet. LOL! It’s just a hard foot to fit, and shoes always are big around the mid-foot area. It doesn’t really bother me. That said, this pair is a bit stiff, so I’m sure that doesn’t help matters.

  4. Great try on post! I struggle with button up shirts as well, but will try the Aiden Evereve one.
I am looking at the Tarte concealer shades. I find them difficult to navigate. What shade did you purchase?

  5. I love the studded top on you. So cute. The struggle to find a comfy, stylish jacket is real. I, too, have the utility jacket and feeling the tiredness of that style. It is so comfy over bulkier layers tho. I may try uncinching too. Thanks for the idea. The Madewell stripe is in my cart

  6. Could you comment on the Dolce Vita Mary Janes. I think they are adorable, but they don’t look like they have much support, wondering about comfort level.

  7. Not sure I’m a fan of the Frame straight jeans – maybe because I was influenced to try them too (actually ordered a few washes!) and they were a no go for me. I’ve really struggled trying to find a good straight leg jean that flatters my hourglass shape. Before looser jeans were in, I wore AG Mari and Dazzlers on repeat , but now they seem too skinny for what I’m looking for. The search for the perfect jean continues #thestruggleisreal

    1. I just received the Mother the Ditcher zipped straight leg jeans from Nordstrom and they are perfection. I highly recommended.

  8. England in May? I am so jealous. Have you checked out Sezane trench coats? Or you could make an appointment at Burberry and let them spoil you while they bring you trench coats to try-on, as they tell you the history of the coat while you sip bubbles in your private dressing room. Ahhhhhh, that would be a nice day. I love all the stripped sweaters too. Quince has some cute stripped sweaters, if you need more 🥰

    1. I totally thought about a Burberry appointment too Katie! I do also love the Sézane Clyde tench in the darker honey color! I nearly bought in Paris but didn’t have the suitcase real estate to bring home.

  9. “But at this rate, my entire spring wardrobe is just going to be striped sweaters.” ROFL!!! My entire spring/summer wardrobe consists of cowl neck sleeveless blouses. I think when we find something that works for us, we naturally gravitate to it.

  10. I have the Gap Factory pink cable knit sweater as well as the roll neck one (I have the one with the yellow stripes). I’m very happy with the quality and look. I love the color block top on you but I know if you don’t like it, you won’t wear it. Good to know about the Madewell sweater. Will check them out in the future.

  11. I love your facial expressions before I even read your take on the item…I can tell where it’s going, lol. Great post. At 5’3″ I’m tired of front tucking tops just to have them fall out of the tuck a couple minutes later, so I’m very interested in the Aiden woven shirt from Evereve or any top that’s 20-22″ in length. I’m on the Sperry boat shoe trend and have been for years but have to watch which jeans I wear with them; not all jeans work as you noted.

    1. I purchased not one, but two linen Tommy Bahama cropped button-ups last year for a 3-week trip to Italy & Greece and wore them on repeat. On my trip and at home. Worth every penny. I’ve never been able to wear button ups so I love this style. I hope it doesn’t go anywhere anytime soon.

  12. You definitely had some hits and misses, didn’t you. Since we really don’t have transitional time between the seasons, I need to refrain from buying any more long sleeve sweaters. The woven flats that you are keeping are such a great neutral color.

  13. If you’re looking for something trench-like, I have the Everlane Mac coat. I really like it. It feels very classic and European to me, fits well, and it’s a bit shorter than a trench. I’m also looking for an actual trench, but this one works for me right now.

  14. You didn’t say a thing about the Dolce Vita Mary Janes– what did you think?? LOVE the Madewell sweater on you. Sidenote: I used to be able to x out the bottom ad banner on my laptop but haven’t been able to for the last week or two; is that a change on your end or something wonky on my end? It’s annoying because it reduces my screen view of your photos. Thanks for the great post– love your try-on hauls! 🥰

    1. Same! And very hard to ignore when it keeps changing – not only between ads but within each one. The Sephora one the other day kept popping up a new perfume every couple seconds!

  15. I love the Frame Le Sleek High Waist Ankle Straight Leg Jeans on you. I’m definitely buying them!

Thank you for all your hard work…just love these try on posts.

  16. I think I am jealous of the lighting in your local Evereve store! The one I go to has the worst lighting in the dressing room which forces me to go out in the store with each outfit item I try on to look at myself in their huge mirror near the check out counter and then that garners so many opinions from others etc…., but actually the whole store has rather dim lighting. In the past two weeks I’ve bought a thousand dollars worth of clothes only to have to return most everything because once I got it home, it didn’t look good in “real” light. I am considering contacting their manager to share my thoughts (but thinking of a tactful way to pose the problem 🙂 ). I tried the DV tan double strap flats too (I see you wearing them in several pics) but they fit big on me (gaping at the sides and about a half size too long in the toes). They didn’t have the size smaller so I passed on them. I’m going to use your link to order the Dolce Vita Damaria Flat you tried. The color and woven style look so pretty. Do you think I should order down a size?

  17. The Madewell and Gap sweaters look great on you! Gap rollneck! I ended up ordering the Gap rollneck because it comes in yellow and white stripes, and I wanted something with butter yellow for spring. You didn’t like the double strap suede Mary Janes? I think I’m in love with them….
