QVC Beauty Finds: June 2021

**This post is sponsored by QVC and ShopStyle Collective. Thanks for supporting the retailers that support this site.

Hi, friends! I’ve been testing out more beauty products from QVC, and I can’t wait to tell you about them. Also, if this is your first time shopping at QVC, you can take $15 off your first purchase of $50 or more with code BIRTHDAY. If it’s your second purchase, you can get $10 off $25 or more with code HELLO10.

I found a new favorite eye shadow palette and blush, and I got reacquainted with my old favorite facial exfoliant and dry shampoo. I also discovered a new lipgloss that I’m enjoying, so let’s dive right in.

Summer Beauty Finds at QVC

#1. tarte Amazonian Clay Maneater Palette and Mascara 3-Pc Set w/ Bag

I’m already a huge fan of tarte cosmetics — specifically their eye shadows. They have such nice pigment, and they blend easily. Plus, they last all day without creasing, even when I skip my eye shadow primer.

The tarte Amazonian Clay Maneater Palette is full of great neutrals for creating effortless everyday looks.

I’ve been using the colors down the middle on my lid, brow bone, and crease. Then I go in with the pretty shimmer on the left on the outer 2/3 of my lid, and I use the darkest color on the bottom left as eye liner.

This set also comes with a trendy snake print cosmetic bag, an eye shadow brush, and the popular tarte Maneater mascara, making it an amazing value.

#2. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Anti-Aging Silk Pressed Blush w/ Brush

I just added this blush to my daily makeup routine. I’m wearing the shade called Naturally Pretty, and it’s a peachy-pink tone that is perfect for summer.

This blush is buildable, and it’s formulated with optical blurring technology, so it isn’t harsh at all. It’s easy to blend, and it diffuses the appearance of pores and other imperfections.

This set also comes with a blush brush, making it a great value for the price point.

#3. Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment

I used to love this product, but I had forgotten about it until I saw it on QVC a few weeks ago. It’s a gentle exfoliant that you smooth over clean, wet skin and massage in gently. The particles are very fine, and it will start to tingle, so use your judgement and wash off before it starts to feel too intense — one or two minutes.

I don’t find it to be excessively drying or harsh, but it definitely makes my skin feel softer and smoother to the touch, and it leaves my skin with a healthy-looking glow.

#4. Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm Lip Treatment

This rich and creamy lip balm is formulated to nourish, condition, and hydrate the lips with just a kiss of color. There are four color options, and I’m wearing Watermelon Kiss in these photos.

The colors are very sheer, and I like them best over top of a bolder lip color, but they definitely leave your lips feeling moist and hydrated.

#5. Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Shampoo & Conditioner w/ Dry Shampoo

I’m a long-time fan of the Living Proof Dry Shampoo. It’s the best one I’ve found to leave your hair feeling clean and smelling great, with no white residue — especially noticeable on dark hair like mine. It definitely helps me extend the time between washings.

The shampoo and conditioner are new to me, but so far, so good! I’ve been using them for a week or two, and they leave my hair smelling and feeling great.  This set is a really good value, as well.

  1. Are you still struggling with thinning hair and using Monat special shampoo? Or did that resolve itself? Wondering how changing shampoos effects that.

    1. My hair stopped falling out when I went off thyroid meds. I’ve experimented with that a couple times and it seems to be the culprit. I’ve been using this Living Proof for a few weeks and it’s still looking good so I don’t think shampoo affects my hair loss situation.

  2. Before I purchase the maneater palette, what is the difference between this and the tartlette in bloom palette and which do you prefer? The lip product looks wonderful.

  3. Are the Tarte eyeshadow colors matte or shimmer? I can’t find a description on the QVC site.
I used to use Kate Somerville products and loved the iconic “exfolikate” face scrub. It worked well!

  4. I recently discovered Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5 in 1 Styling Treatment. I’d have never tried it but I got a free sample. This stuff is fantastic for giving my hair body so that I can extend the time between shampoos. It’s not greasy at all, and I’m not sure what it really does to make my hair so manageable, but it’s incredible! Am just using a small dollop (less than a dime size) for my medium length hair.
