What to Buy: Saks September Friends & Family

** This post is sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue and Collective Voice.

If you liked last week’s Saks Gift Card Event, you will be thrilled to hear that they just kicked off their September Friends & Family Sale, and you can save 25% off a large selection of new fall arrivals! Of course, I rounded up my top picks for you.

It’s no secret that Saks is the premier destination for luxury fashion, and so many of my favorite jeans and other designer brands are included in this event… including MOTHER Denim! This is when I invest in higher end wardrobe essentials that I know I’ll wear for years. Premium denim, designer shoes and handbags, and luxe cashmere are where the best deals can be had. Best of all, this is not a tiered sale, and there is no minimum purchase amount to qualify.

Premium Denim

I always recommend purchasing premium denim when it goes on sale, and this is the time to stock up – at the beginning of the season, when inventory is plentiful. So many of my favorites are included here, like the MOTHER Weekender, MOTHER Tomcat Roller Sneak, PAIGE Laurel Canyon, and PAIGE Anessa.

I rounded up those and more of my premium denim favorites below.

Tops & Jackets

There’s so much more than what I came up with here, but I had to mention the RAILS Alma Twill Jacket and this pretty cotton stripe sweater. See all those and more below.

Designer Shoes & Boots

I found a variety of popular designer shoe brands in this sale including Stuart Weitzman, Michael Kors, Bernardo, and Schutz. See my top picks below.

Versatile Dresses

Dresses are great wardrobe essentials because they’re one and done. I found a few really good options in this sale, and I’m sure there are lots more. I recommend searching by your favorite designer.

Luxe Handbags & Accessories

Accessories are what takes your outfit to the next level, and I found some great options here.

  1. l am such a dress girl so I love when you feature dresses that can go from day to night especially! Is it just me, or the older we get, I prefer a bit of a sleeve – harder to find it seems but when I do find them- I grab them! Thank you for this great post!

    1. At the moment, I still like my arms and I’m happy to wear sleeveless, but sometimes it’s too cold for that, and I don’t always like to layer on top of a dress, so that’s my biggest issue.
