These month long sales have led to some great deals on investment pieces! I’ve also fully stocked up for the year ahead on skincare when my spa did their client appreciation event! It’s been an expensive few weeks and I’ve barely started gift shopping! lol.

Considering buying another carry on bag. I currently have the Monos carry on which I like but still feel a little small. Thinking the Away bigger carry on flex with the extra expansion if needed. Have you expanded it and still used as a carry on or at that point you have to then check the bag? And does it also depend if domestic or international flight? I think you have both flex and non-flex bags. Just trying to decide which to buy. Any insights are appreciated 😊
When it’s expanded, it has to be checked. But I have been able to take it without the expansion on most domestic flights. I think I only had to gate check at once, and that was just the kind where they put it under and give it right back to you at the plane.
I’ve been able to carry on the flex with it expanded! It surprised me that it didn’t get pulled to be checked. This was recently at LAX. It’s such a great bag! Just did 3.5 weeks in Europe with it!

Wow!!!!! Youve been working hard. Great post. These early sales can be overwhelming if you don’t have a shopping plan. I’m almost done Christmas shopping and feel I have enough in my closet so I have to be careful not to buy just because it’s a great deal. Waiting for some Quince jeans to arrive soon, then decide outfits to take to travel to my daughters for Thanksgiving. Excited to see my kids and grands. Only a 3 hour drive. Year off from hosting which is kind of nice for a change.

Good morning! I need your help finding an ivory or winter white Fisherman style crewneck sweater that isn’t too heavy (I know that style is typically heavier). I live in a warmer climate, as you know, so I don’t necessarily need cashmere or wool, but I want a classic that will last through many seasons. I don’t want to pay Jenni Kayne prices though. Any ideas and links?
