Winter has come and gone and come back again in the past week! I think I have weather whiplash. And for some reason, I have a SLEW of photos so grab a cup of coffee. This may take a while.

This was last week when it was still cold.

I wore this striped tee with the pink trim with my dark jeans and UGGs to go to the mall. I threw on the puffer vest so I could avoid wearing a coat.

I had to carry my pink bag to coordinate with the trim on my top because I’m kind of crazy like that. And you have to admit, it makes a great contrast against the dark neutrals of the outfit. These Paige Skyline Skinny Jeans are now 15% off. I’ve had these for almost 3 years, now, and I am telling you, they are AMAZING. I always get compliments in them. And right now they are 15% off at Nordstrom.

I wore this outfit for another mall excursion the very next day. This is seriously a record for me! What can I say, it’s Nordstrom Triple Points this week, and I’m working on my first rewards certificate. Hey, a girl’s gotta have goals, right?

And THIS is one of the outfits I bought at the mall.

I am loving this light-weave, relaxed-fit sweater. It was a bit of a splurge, but I was feeling the winter blahs and it was the perfect pick-me-up. I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of it this spring.

The necklace is from a local shop. These jeans are a new purchase too. I wanted something in a lighter wash that I can wear with more casual outfits going into spring. I can’t find them online but these are similar. I wore my comfy Crocs Kadee flats.

This is a casual outfit I wore around the house to work on a weekday. The t-shirt is one I picked up at the Lucky Brand outlet a few weeks ago. I figured it would be cute for summer, but for this chilly day I wore it under my red zip-up hoodie. I wore my new jeans again and my Crocs ballet flats for comfort.

And this is another new outfit — I wore this to church on Sunday. I’ve been enjoying my black ruffle front peplum jacket so much that I sprung for this khaki Glam Jacket when I got a 25% off coupon for White House Black Market. I also bought the cobalt Pleat Neck Top to go with it. This outfit would be great for a lunch date or GNO too!

Finally, I wore this collegiate striped top (an Ella Moss purchase from last spring) with my new jeans on Monday. I was supposed to be going to NYC with Target to attend the Pixi Beauty event with Petra to launch her spring makeup collection. Unfortunately I came down with a nasty virus and had to cancel at the last minute. I was all gussied up and packed and everything and I finally had to cry Uncle. So bummed. I was looking forward to hanging with my friend Melissa and getting all sorts of new beauty tips and tricks for spring. I guess I was due. I haven’t been sick all winter.

  1. I love the camo look with those amazing Toms! I am hoping they still have them in the fall! I love those! Great looks and I hope you are feeling better! I have a new link up on Friday called Charming Fridays! I am guest posting with Ginny of My New Favorite outfit and we would love to have you link up this week! Blessings! Susan

  2. Looks like the buying freeze is over, LOL. The new jeans look great. And the stuff from White House Black Market. I try buying jackets, but they never seem to work for me. I never end up actually wearing them, I grab a cardigan instead every time. I think I’m going to give in and convince hubby I’m headed to Nordstrom’s to try on some designer jeans. Don’t know that they’re in the budget at the moment, but I should at least know my size and what brands I like in case I see a good deal online, right??

    1. Uh, yeah. That didn’t last long, did it? Haha! Well, I did well for about 2 mos.

It actually IS a good idea to know your size and what brands work for you. You can get some great deals on eBay, and of course when dept stores have sales.

  3. Hi JoLynne!

Would you mind sharing your size for the Goodnight Macaroon Puffer Vest? I’m thinking of getting one (because it looks awesome one you!) but it’s final sale and I want to get the right size.

    Thank you!!

  4. Love the new jeans! They look great! Also love that you support 10,000 Villages and link their site on your blog. They have some great jewelry and decor. My aunt volunteers in a shop I eastern PA…maybe the one you shop at!

      1. She volunteers in Souderton! Love your mom style post…I look forward to Wednesdays because of them! Can’t wait to see the mint skinnies you referenced in the Piperlime post. Currently searching for colored pants.
