If you’re looking for affordable summer outfits that feel current and easy to wear, Gap Factory has some great finds right now. I put together four looks that highlight a few of this season’s top trends—breezy dresses, crisp white denim, lightweight linen, and a nod to crochet.

To sweeten the deal, their Big Summer Sale is going on now through 6/23, and almost everything is 60% off (some exclusions apply), so it’s a great time to grab a few new pieces. These outfits are all easy to wear and perfect for whatever summer has in store—travel days, casual plans, or just staying cool and put-together when the temps climb.
Look 1: The Dress of the Season

This first look features the silhouette of the season—a linen-blend midi dress with a chic square neckline; wide bra-friendly straps; and a full, flowy skirt. It’s lightweight and breathable, and the elastic panel in the back gives it a flattering, flexible fit.

I dressed it up with strappy woven kitten heels and oversized raffia hoops for a fun, summery twist. The off-white shoulder bag in the trendy east-west shape adds a fresh contrast and keeps the whole look feeling light and polished.
Look 2: Casual & Cool

Next up: an easy outfit I’d wear for errands or travel—a casual jersey swing dress with modern updates. Gap Factory’s Stripe Jersey Mini Dress has a cutaway sleeveless shape and a high crew neckline for a sporty-meets-polished vibe. They call it a mini, but I found the length totally wearable in the size medium.

I styled it with low-profile white sneakers for a laid-back look and added a boxy denim shirt as a lightweight layer.

You can wear this shirt open or buttoned, and it’s one of those pieces that works with just about everything. I think it would look great unbuttoned over a tank with denim shorts or white jeans, or buttoned up on its own for a more structured look. It’s an easy summer layer that adds just the right amount of polish without feeling too heavy.
Look 3: A Fresh Take on Denim

You might recognize this denim button-front mini dress from Monday’s post about this summer’s crochet trend. I love the flattering fit, thanks to the subtle empire waist and slightly structured silhouette. The denim is soft and stretchy, and I appreciate that it’s regular bra-friendly. It does run a bit small—I’m wearing the medium here, and it’s a little snug. I’m actually curious how the large would fit for a slightly more relaxed look.

To keep the look summery, I added minimalistic slide sandals with a crochet strap and a light brown woven crossbody that pulls everything together.
Look 4: Crochet & White Denim

Last but not least, this look feels a little more elevated and would be perfect for a casual office, dinner out, or anything in between. I paired the black and white stripe sweater tee with seamed baby bootcut jeans in a soft white for a fresh, polished feel.
I like how this open-stitch sweater tee gives a subtle nod to the crochet trend, adding just the right amount of texture and detail. The scalloped edges add a feminine touch, while the classic t-shirt cut keeps it modern and easy to wear. It is a bit sheer, so you can layer a black or ivory tank underneath depending on your comfort level. It runs true to size, but you could size down for a closer fit; I’m wearing the small.

These baby bootcut jeans have a slim, leg-lengthening shape with a subtle flare at the hem that balances out the volume on top beautifully. The seaming detail adds a modern touch, and they run true to size. I’m in the 29, so if you’re between sizes, you might consider sizing down.

I finished the look with a woven black bag and neutral strappy sandals, but a pair of wedges or slingbacks would work just as well if you need a closed-toe option.
Gap Factory really nailed it with their summer collection—everything I’m wearing here is stylish, well-made, and affordably priced. It’s a great destination for stocking up on quality warm-weather staples that won’t break the bank. Whether you’re after casual dresses, versatile denim, or trend-forward pieces with everyday appeal, they’ve got something for every summer plan.

Love the boxy denim shirt especially over the dress
The denim shirt is sold out in all sizes! Ugh! I can see why, it’s so versatile and a great price!
I see several sizes, but yeah, they’re getting picked over. I feel like it’s pretty versatile. You could size up or down depending on what’s available.
Is the denim shirt jacket lighter in person? On the website it looks darker and a little dingy, but on you it’s light and looks so cute!
I think it’s a good color. 🙂
I highly recommend the GAP denim jacket with the large pockets in the front. Its so cute on and the sleeve detail looks fun and different and the pockets are NOT too big looking. I like it better in person. However…..the sleeve length is long and was too long for me, so I took it to my alterations lady and she shortened them perfectly and matched the thread and large hem detail to perfection. I just wore it for the first time yesterday. Its perfect. I’m glad I purchased on sale, as it did cost more of course to hem the sleeves, but worth it. Such an updated look for a denim jacket from the traditional one I’ve worn for years now.
So glad you like it! My sister in law was wearing it when she came in town a few weeks ago and I loved it on her.
PS is the striped tank dress regular bra friendly with the back arm cutout look?
It is, but I had to be mindful of my straps and push them back just a bit, if that makes sense.
What size did you get for the linen dress? I couldn’t find it in the post.
Sorry, it’s a medium.
Good luck with the patio cushions! I bring in my throw pillows from the covered front porch when I know that it’s going to storm with blowing rain because I don’t want them to get wet. Yes, it’s a pain, but it sure helps them to keep looking nice for more years. Boy, GAP Factory does have some great options at affordable prices.
I ordered the crochet stripe sweater when I asked you a question on email. I’m supposed to receive it today which is pretty fast.
Update. I received the crochet sweater and it fits perfectly. The length is a little longer on me than you but not an issue. I would highly recommend it if it’s still available. There was free shipping when I ordered it too. Thanks Jo-Lynn for showing us this top. I wouldn’t have ordered it without your inspiration. I like it on you better than the model.
So glad you’re happy with it!
You knocked it out of the park! Everything looks so fun and pretty! You are ready for summertime! Everything looks so good on you.
