Spring is here, even if we’re still seeing a few cooler days, and I’m ready to start wearing all the lighter, easy outfits again. I thought I’d round up some outfit ideas to inspire our everyday looks this season.

Some of these are from this season, but I also went back through my archives and pulled looks from past years that still feel current, or could easily be updated with a few simple swaps. Hopefully this gives you a little inspiration to shop your closet and put together some fresh spring looks.
What to Wear This Spring: Easy Outfit Ideas
Looking for easy spring outfit ideas? These simple outfit formulas are perfect for everyday wear and can be recreated with pieces you already own.
1. White Tee + Wide-Leg Ankle Jeans + Neutral Slide Sandals
Simple and chic—a white tee and blue jeans make the perfect base, and the modern proportions keep it feeling current. Light brown slides and a coordinating belt pull it together, the rattan bag adds texture and a seasonal touch, and a chartreuse sweater over the shoulders gives it that extra pop.

2. Pink Top + White Jeans + Denim Jacket
Light and fresh for spring—white denim paired with a pink top in any shade always works. An updated denim jacket with utility details makes the perfect third piece, and metallic wedges add interest without feeling heavy.

3. Black Pants + White Tee + Stand Collar Jacket + Sneakers
Clean and polished with a sporty edge—these Ruti barrel pants are a fun update to your travel look (and they’re on sale right now). A white tee keeps it classic, while the light grey stand collar jacket adds an unexpected touch. A modern denim jacket or olive utility jacket would work just as well.

Ruti On the Loose Pants (8) // EVEREVE Callum Jacket (S) (option) // Faherty Muscle Tee (S) // On Cloud Sneakers (9) // Quince Carry-On Suitcase // Quince Transit Duffle
4. Blue Jeans + Black Tank + Slide Sandals
A timeless combo that never gets old—it can lean edgy, casual, or slightly dressed up depending on the textures and accessories. The metallic sling bag adds a little personality.

5. Olive Pants + White Tee + Denim Jacket
A tried-and-true color combo—the updated silhouette from the barrel jeans and oversized jacket keeps it feeling current. I finished it with neutral Mary Janes, but a low-profile sneaker works just as well.

6. Black & White Stripe Top + White Jeans + Black Slides
So simple, but always chic—this is a combination you can come back to again and again. Updating the silhouettes and accessories keeps it feeling fresh.

7. Bright Pink Pants + White Tee + Denim Jacket + Sandals
Bold but still wearable—pairing bright pants with a white tee and denim jacket keeps it grounded.
Style note: Swap in a more modern jacket and add a beaded necklace to give this look a more current feel.

8. Olive Top + Ecru Denim + Raffia Slides
Warm, earthy tones that feel effortless for spring—olive and ecru make a soft, soothing combination. Raffia slides add a seasonal touch, while the woven tote and belt tie everything together.

9. Beige Linen Jacket + Brown Tank + Wide-Leg Jeans
A relaxed, tonal mix that still feels pulled together. I like how the woven bag brings in texture and keeps it from feeling flat.

10. Black Tank + Black Linen Pants + Black Jacket + Black Sandals
All black, but still interesting—the mix of textures and a little skin at the neck, wrists, and ankles keeps it from feeling too heavy. The raffia bag adds a summery touch.

11. Short Sleeve Denim Jacket + Stripe Tank + White Jeans
A great everyday formula with a little structure—the short-sleeve denim jacket is a fun twist on a classic. I wore gold sandals, but beige Mary Janes or low-profile neutral sneakers work just as well.

12. Coral Tee + Light Wash Jeans + Beige Linen Jacket + Neutral Sneakers
Easy and relaxed with a fun pop of color—perfect for brightening up your everyday look. A beige linen jacket keeps it light and works with just about everything.

Kind of off topic—Are you still recommending the Naot Dorith sandal? Are they still in style? I was thinking about the “Silver Threads” color which looks more pewter than shiny silver. Don’t want to look out-of-date. Thanks.
I’m not sure they were ever really in or out of style, they’re just a good basic walking sandal. I think the metallic options on those are really nice.
Love all these outfits. Simple but put together nicely.
Thanks, Rosemary!
Great post for outfit ideas. I’ve found the more I curate my closet to “me” and my style, that shopping my closet from years past still can work, sometimes with just a small change up. I’m getting ready for a good recommendation for denim shirts in like 5” length and finished hem. Now with influencers out there items seems to fly off the shelf as they say. I often find myself behind getting what I need for the season. I know we are just Spring now but please when you see them do a denim shorts round up. Also I’ll be looking for casual everyday dresses to wear instead of shorts.
“I’ve found the more I curate my closet to “me” and my style, that shopping my closet from years past still can work, sometimes with just a small change up.” –> Yes! I love hearing that.
Great options for this very fickle season. We’re in the 60’s for a few days; as of this weekend the high will jump back up in the 80’s.
It’s been so weird here. 80 one afternoon, 23 the next morning… gah!
What brand is the rattan bag in idea#1?
It’s an old YSL.
