Fall Wardrobe Essentials for Less

Now that Labor Day has come and gone, I’ve been clearing out the summer styles from my closet, taking inventory, and assessing what I need to add to my fall wardrobe this year.

I know a lot of you are doing the same, and it can be overwhelming, especially if you haven’t done a good closet clean out in a while. Sometimes it feels like you have nothing left!

I’ve been wearing these puffed hoop earrings a ton lately, and my necklace sold out, but this is similar.

The Joe’s Jeans I’m wearing here also sold out, but Nordstrom Rack has a lot of good deals on denim right now. And true confessions, I cut these because they were too long, and I cut too much off. D’oh!

I broke my own rule, to start small. You can always cut more, but you can’t reattach. At this point, I should just make them a crop, but I was going for a full length look with these outfits.

They’re supposed to be flares, but they’re more of a relaxed straight on me, and I kind of like it.

Oh, and while we’re here, let’s talk about this studded hobo bag. It’s the perfect everyday size, and I love the light cognac color with olive and rust and other shades of brown.

R Minkoff is one of my favorite handbag designers; I’m always drawn to her modern, urban, slightly edgy vibe.

The shoe game at Nordstrom Rack is pretty strong right now, as well! I’ve been wanting to try the chunky lug sole loafer, but I didn’t want to spend a lot.

These Me Too Blaze Lug Sole Penny Loafers are a great way to dip my toe into the trend… so to speak! They also come in a Charcoal Patent Crackle, and they run true to size.
