Good morning from Fort Walton Beach, Florida! I’ll be doing my capsule wardrobe update tomorrow, but today I just want to say hi and share a few pictures. I’m here on a blogger retreat/girlfriend getaway, and we are being hosted by Newman-Daley Resort Properties.
We are staying in a 6-bedroom house that’s just a short walk from the beach. I posted this yesterday on Instagram as I sat outside by the pool.
The weather is nice, but it’s not warm enough for swimming. We don’t care, though. The sun is shining, and we’re just enjoying being outside without winter coats. I can’t believe that it still looks like this at home.
This morning I got to run on the beach, and it was AMAZING. I stopped to take this picture.
Okay, enough scenery. This is what I wore yesterday on the plane. This is part of my capsule, but I brought some spring clothes to wear here in Florida.
Yes, I took this picture in the airport bathroom. Ha! I couldn’t resist this cool red wall.
We’re actually working while we’re down here, believe it or not. It’s so exciting to me to be surrounded by so many smart and successful women who get the blogging space. We speak the same language, and I’m getting so much inspiration.
Sorry this Coffee Talk is so short, but I have to get moving! Tomorrow I’ll share my capsule outfits from this week. Meanwhile, this black tunic just went on sale for $25. It is so cute and flattering, and it’s long enough to wear with leggings. It’s from the Junior department, but I am wearing my regular size, a medium. It comes in 4 colors.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

Your glasses are adorable.
Thank you! 🙂
I like the glasses too. We don’t often see you in those. They really suit you.
Tunic looks comfy and very versatile … I may break my New Year’s Reaolution to STOP buying clothes! Your cup of … ahem … coffee looks nice too!
Haha. This one’s worth making an exception for. 😉
Love your glasses!
Love following you and have shared you with several good friends . Go eat at Pandoras steak house while you are in Ft Walton . Family owned and delicious . My favorite is the grilled Tuna w a side of pasta marinara .
Thanks for the recommendation!
I love your glasses and of course your outfits! My sister and husband own 4 condos in Fort Walton Beach. The complex is called Destin West. I love the Destin/Fort Walton area. Other fabulous restaurants for future reference: Dewey’s, The Backporch, and McQuire’s Irish Pub.
That’s good to know!
