Hello from Blissdom!

I just got done speaking at my session on hyperlocal blogging, so now I can sit back and relax and enjoy the rest of the conference! I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I’d be, and my co-presenters were so well-versed in the topic that I didn’t have much to add. Oooh, and look, I actually wore a dress!

Yay me! I was surprised people recognized me without my jeans. Although you notice, I did add a denim jacket for good measure. I love how CAbi is expanding my fashion horizons.

Speaking of what I’m wearing, I’ve been obsessively refreshing a certain URL all morning. I’ve had a big project in the works for some time now, and I’m finally ready to share it!!!

You may or may not know that I have a collaborative fashion/beauty blog called Chic Critique.  It’s a great concept but it’s been plodding along for some time now because I haven’t been able to give it the attention that I wanted to.

A few weeks ago, my friend Melissa and I decided to partner up and merge our style blogs into one brand spankin’ new resource of All Things Chic.

Yes, that is the name of the new site — AllThingsChic.net.

We’ve been collaborating and building the site over the past few weeks and it’s FINALLY READY TO GO LIVE.  In fact, it is in the process right now.  I keep refreshing my browser, waiting for it to appear.  I’m just slightly jacked up about this, can you tell?

We have combined our contributors and added a few new faces to the mix, and we will be posting fresh content multiple times a day. Topics are not just limited to women’s fashion and beauty, but we’ll also be sharing our chic and stylish finds for the home and family. There will be a lot of new features and great giveaways and tons of fun, and everything we post is accessible to real women like you and me.

Next week we are planning a HUMONGO-FANTABULOUS Launch Party with some really sweet giveaways and lots of great style tips so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter so you don’t miss anything.

I hope you will subscribe and then tweet and facebook and shout it from the rooftops — help us spread the word!!!
