How to Style Aritzia Lodge Pants: 3 Easy Looks

The Aritzia Lodge Pants had been on my radar for a while, but every time I tried them on, something felt a little off. When they went on sale a few weeks ago, I decided to give them one more chance. I picked up a black pair in the classic crepe fabric and a chocolate brown pair in the linen blend, and this time they just worked.

Once I started playing around with different outfit combinations, I realized they were much more versatile than I had expected. Today I’m sharing three easy outfit ideas that are perfect for this time of year and can easily carry you into fall.

Aritzia Lodge Pants Review & Fit

Before we get to the outfits, let’s talk about why these pants have become so popular. Relaxed trousers continue to be one of the biggest trends we’ve seen over the past few seasons, and the Aritzia Lodge Pants are one of the best examples of the trend.

They’re an elevated take on the classic elastic-waist pant, with a high-rise, wide-leg silhouette and a beautiful drape that keeps them looking polished. They’re comfortable enough for travel and everyday wear, easy to dress up or down, and a great alternative to jeans when you want something a little different.

How Do Aritzia Lodge Pants Fit?

The Lodge Pants come in a wide range of colors and fabrics and are available in short, regular, and tall lengths. I find them to fit fairly true to size.

I’m currently between a small and a medium, and I can wear either size. The small fits a bit more snugly through the waist, but I prefer the slightly slimmer look through the leg, so that’s the size I chose in the brown linen pair. I went with a medium in the black crepe, and while it’s a little roomier overall, it still works well. I also find the linen fabric to be a bit more forgiving than the crepe.

3 Easy Aritzia Lodge Pants Outfit Ideas

Here are three ways I’ve been styling the Aritzia Lodge Pants lately. Each outfit has a slightly different feel, but they’re all easy to recreate with pieces you may already have in your closet.

Look 1: Green Sweater & Black Crepe Lodge Pants

This first look features the black crepe pair. Aritzia’s Crepette™ fabric has a subtle texture and a medium weight, so it’s a great year-round option. It drapes beautifully and hardly wrinkles, making these pants perfect for travel, work, or just leveling up your everyday outfits.

They come in a wide selection of colors and neutrals, but my wardrobe was lacking a good pair of black pants, so that seemed like the perfect place to start.

I styled them here with a textured sweater tee in a really pretty shade of green. The knit adds nice texture and dimension, and it has enough weight to balance the drape of the crepe pants. It’s also short enough for a small front tuck, and the relaxed fit with cap sleeves gives it an easy shape that’s flattering without feeling too fitted or too boxy.

I kept it simple with leather thong kitten heel sandals, which are one of my favorite shoe trends this season. I like how they keep the outfit feeling modern and understated while adding just a bit of height. (This pair is a really good option, too.)

And then I finished the look with a pair of chunky resin bangles in a coordinating shade of green and ivory, a long cord pendant necklace, and a small raffia and leather hobo bag. Each of these pieces adds a fresh, modern touch without overwhelming the simplicity of the outfit.

Look 2: All-Black Monochromatic Outfit

You all know I love an all-black outfit, so my second look uses the same black crepe pants and thong sandals to create an easy monochromatic look that I think is so chic and flattering.

I swapped the green sweater for a stretchy ribbed cap-sleeve tee and tucked it in all the way around. I don’t usually do a full tuck, but it actually works with these pants.

Style Tip: Don’t be afraid to experiment with where the waistband sits. I actually preferred these worn a little lower on my midsection. My younger daughter suggested it because she thought they looked more modern sitting a bit lower and slightly slouchier, and I have to agree.

This is where I was glad I chose the medium. The extra room in the waistband lets the pants sit comfortably a little lower on my midsection without digging in, while still maintaining that relaxed, polished silhouette.

I could have worn the same long pendant necklace, but I decided to switch to this shorter layered pendant necklace with a black cord instead. I love the combination of the amber resin and polished silver pendants, and I coordinated with a pair of chunky silver hoop earrings.

I also added a brown resin and silver bangle set and finished the look with a buttery soft black leather shoulder bag and a pair of oversized square sunglasses.

And just for fun, I added an optional topper: this short trench in a light stone shade from Aritzia. It’s an easy way to transition the outfit into early fall. I’d probably swap the thong sandals for a pair of mesh flats or maybe these pointy toe mules.

Look 3: Chocolate Brown Linen Lodge Pants

Finally, I styled the chocolate brown linen Aritzia Lodge Pants into another monochromatic look. The CruiseLinen™ fabric blends linen with TENCEL™ Lyocell, so it has the breathable, textured feel of linen but with a softer drape and less wrinkling than 100% linen. It’s a great option if you love the look of linen but want something that’s a little easier to wear.

This outfit formula is very similar, with a pair of brown jelly kitten heel thong sandals and a fitted sweater top. Sadly, mine is old, and no longer linkable, but this one and this one are similar.

For accessories, I added gold hoop earrings and this fun wood bracelet in two shades of brown with gold accents, along with a gold bangle from another set.

I debated adding a necklace, but I felt like it competed with the scalloped neckline and shoulders, as well as the cable detailing on the sweater, so I decided to let the sweater stand on its own. If the neckline was simpler, I definitely would have added a pendant.

I finished the look with a dark brown woven leather shoulder bag, which adds another layer of texture while keeping the monochromatic color palette intact. And don’t underestimate the power of a great pair of sunglasses. I think this oversized square tortoiseshell pair takes the outfit up another notch.

As an added bonus, I was trying on some new arrivals yesterday and paired the Treasure & Bond stretchy ribbed top in ivory with these chocolate brown linen Lodge Pants.

I kept the same wood bracelet, added a brown beaded necklace, and swapped the thong sandals for a pair of chocolate brown mesh flats. I really love how this outfit turned out.

Final Thoughts

Now that I’ve put together a few go-to outfits, I’m really glad I gave the Aritzia Lodge Pants another try. They’re much more versatile than I initially gave them credit for. Sometimes it pays to spend a little time experimenting with a new silhouette before deciding whether it’s right for you.

While this post focuses on the Aritzia Lodge Pants, you certainly don’t need this exact pair to recreate these looks. Any relaxed wide-leg trouser in a similar fabric will work just as well. Whether you already own the Lodge Pants or have a similar style hanging in your closet, I hope these outfit ideas inspire you to try a few new outfit combinations.
