I wore this outfit out to dinner last Saturday night. It was a chilly, rainy night, but I wasn’t willing to bring my ankle boots and sweaters back out, so after some scrounging, I put this outfit together.
It was perfect. The top was light enough to look springy but had enough coverage to make sense for the icky weather we were having. The long pants kept me warm, and the platform wedges kept my feet off the wet ground. The only thing I was missing was a proper rain coat (I felt like my bright pink one was overkill for the occasion) so I remedied that this week and ordered a few neutral trench coats that are on sale at Nordstrom.
I’m calling this Lush Cuff Sleeve Woven Tee the little sister to the Lush Roll Tab Sleeve Shirt that was so popular last fall. (Both are currently on sale.) I noticed this top on the Nordstrom website over and over before I finally bit the bullet and ordered it. I didn’t think it would be flattering on me, but finally I decided to just order it already, and I’m so glad I did. It goes to show, sometimes you can’t tell if an item is going to work or not until you try it on. For size reference, I’m wearing a Medium.
I like the shorter length and the shorter sleeves for summer, but it still has that nice drape and affordable price tag that makes the Lush Roll Tab Sleeve Shirt so popular. The detail in the back is super cute too.
I wanted to dress it up for date night, so I added this tassel pendant. It’s old. I picked it up at the J.Crew Outlet last fall, but it’s similar to the popular Kendra Scott Rayne Pendant. I still have one of those on my wish list.
Unfortunately, the bag is old too and no longer available. It was a $50 dupe for the Clare V. and I can’t seem to find anything like it at the moment that is less than $200. Sorry!!! If you find something, let me know.
I wore my Stella & Dot Pave Sphinx Cuff and matching ring, and that’s my Tory Burch Fitbit bracelet. Yes, I’m doing Fitbit again! My nail polish is CND Studio White. This is my very favorite summer color this year!
The jeans and shoes you’ve seen 100 times before. You already know how much I love these classic white skinny jeans, and I am SO glad I went ahead and invested in these wedge sandals. I’ve already worn them a ton, and it’s not even June yet. Funny thing, when I first got them, I almost sent them back. I liked the looks of them, but I didn’t feel like they were very comfortable, so I had them all boxed up neatly, ready to go back when I left for the RewardStyle Conference in Dallas. While I was there, I noticed someone wearing them, and they were SO pretty on her. I asked her about the comfort, and she promised me they would break in nicely, so I decided to keep them.
Well, I’m here to tell you, these are now the most comfortable wedges I own, and I love that the leather makes them appropriate for 3 out of the 4 seasons of the year. I will enjoy wearing them with bootcut jeans this fall. The footbed has a nice cushion to it, and the straps across the toes were stiff at first, but they softened up with the first wear.
I know it looks like my toe is hanging over the edge, but it isn’t. There is a bit of a “ledge” over the platform. (I have to qualify this because I hate seeing toes dangling over the edge of a sandal, lol!!!)
If you like the style but they’re out of budget, the Nine West Lucini Wedge is quite similar at $78. It’s also on Zappo’s, if Nordstrom is out of your size.

I love this!! Unfortunately sizes are extremely limited. Hoping they get more as I could see wearing this top a lot! So cute!
I know! I posted it on Instagram over the weekend, and suddenly the sizes were depleted. CRAZY! I am hoping they restock. They often do with popular items like this. That other Lush tunic kept fluctuating in inventory last fall, and now they are fully stocked. (Or they were yesterday, lol.)
It looks kind of low cut – not on you looks great. But do you think it would be too low for someone with a smaller ummmm … breast size? I hope that doesn’t sound bad or like I think you are very large. It just appears you are larger than me in that area thats all. 🙂
Outfit looks great on you! As always.
Have a blessed day.
LOL, I hear ya! It is hard to say, although I usually feel it is the opposite, and women who are smaller on top look better in tops like this. The cute young tiny fashion bloggers I follow never seem to have as much showing in the low-V tops as I do. I did have to be cautious with this one and make sure it stayed in place. 🙂 Ideally, a tank top or cami underneath is the safest option for all of us. 🙂
Good Morning,
Love the handbag, but with all my purchases lately I needed to find one a bit less expensive than the Clare V. Here is the one I ordered. It hasn’t arrived yet, so we shall see…..

Ohh, thank you! I hated to link to the $$$ one when I paid less than $50 for mine. LOL. Let me know how you like it.
Love this look! I had that top in my cart forever, but never could pull the trigger! I love the way you styled it, beautiful.
Cute top!! Love the back of it also. You did your hair funky. How did you do that? I like it!
I’m so glad you showed the back of this shirt—it really is so interesting!!
Is the toe hanging over a pet peeve, Jo-Lynne—that is quite funny I must say, because I don’t think I really ever notice that on others!!
I may have to try the white polish when I go for my pedi next week!! Thanks for the inspiration!

JoLynne is not the only one who doesn’t like the ” toe hang over. ” Lol. I always make sure when I’m trying on an open toed shoe, that my toes don’t hang over, and I don’t care to see it on others! 🙂
JoLynne, you look stunning in this outfit. I love the way you curled your hair. Thank you for your post yesterday. I found so many great things on sale!
Have a wonderful day!
This is a great top. I bet it’s flattering for a lot of different body types. I’m a big fan of those types of sleeves these days…they make my arms look slimmer. I’m edging away from sleeveless more and more. Love that you put your nail polish color in there. I had ordered one after I first noticed you wearing white polish, but wasn’t able to get it on evenly. This post inspired me to try again. 🙂 xx-S
I ordered the nail polish! yay for Amazon. 😉
I have this top in a couple colors and love it! I usually wear a tank with it to be on the safe side, although I don’t really have much on top???? This outfit looks great on you! Thanks for all you ideas!
The color of the top is great! Lovely clutch. Fancy Friday linkup is on www. nancysfashionstyle.com. Would be nice if you would show the top!
I absolutely love this muted green color and it is super flattering on you, And the back detail is fabulous! Really cute and versatile shirt, for sure. Perfect styling with white jeans and nude wedges!
