This is one of those outfits I come back to every spring—blue jeans, a white tee, and a light jacket. It’s simple, it always works, and it’s easy to throw on without overthinking it. But every now and then, it’s nice to give that go-to formula a little update, and that’s exactly what these sneakers do.

Splendid Lounge Denim Jacket c/o (M) // Splendid Faye V-Neck Tee (L) // similar belt // Madewell Jules (29) // Dolce Vita Delaney Sneakers (8.5) // Marlyn Schiff Ophelia Bracelet c/o // T-Bar Pebble Pendant // Jenny Bird Gemma Hoops c/o // faux leather woven bag // YSL sunnies
The Sneakers
The pair I’m wearing here are the Dolce Vita Delaney Sneakers in the brown multi raffia combo. I found them at EVEREVE, but they’re actually 40% off at Nordstrom right now and well stocked at the moment. I think they’re such a fun twist on a classic low-top.

What I love about them:
- The mix of brown suede and beige raffia adds texture without feeling busy
- The whipstitching detail gives them a slightly elevated, almost artisanal feel
- And the coral-pink laces are such a fun pop—they brighten up the whole look without overwhelming it
These sneakers are still neutral enough to go with just about anything, but they add just enough interest to make a simple outfit feel more styled.
The Outfit
I styled them here with slim straight, ankle-length blue jeans, a simple white v-neck tee, and a super soft denim jacket with a drawstring waist in a light shade of stone to keep the look fresh and light for the season.

It’s a combination I wear on repeat this time of year, especially on days when I want to feel pulled together but still comfortable. The neutral palette keeps everything feeling polished without feeling too formal, and it leaves room for the accessories (and shoes) to do a little more.
I added a beige belt for a subtle focal point, along with a hammered silver cuff, a mixed-metal T-bar pendant necklace, and bold silver hoops to elevate the look.

I also love how this faux leather woven bag ties into the tones of the sneakers and pulls everything together.
Why This Works
If you already live in jeans and tees this time of year, this is such an easy way to freshen things up without reinventing your wardrobe.

It really comes down to a few small details:
- Texture (the suede and raffia combo vs. a basic leather sneaker)
- Warm neutrals (the brown tones soften the look)
- A hint of color (those laces make more of a difference than you’d think)
If your spring outfits are starting to feel a little repetitive, try swapping in a sneaker with some texture or a subtle pop of color. It’s a small change, but it can completely shift the look.

Those sneakers are fun! I wonder if just swapping out white laces for coloured ones would work too, for those who don’t want to buy a whole new shoe?
Absolutely! I love that idea.
My go to look too.
Can you adjust the length of the crossbody bags straps? It’s such a cute bag!
No, you can’t. That’s the only downside.
Are the sneakers TTS? I really like this outfit. Have a great day in FL!
Yes, I think so. I have the 8.5.
