Step Into Summer with DSW

Bring on the summer sandals! Warm weather has arrived in Philly, and this time, I think it’s here to stay. In honor of this happy occasion, I’m styling a white tee and boyfriend jeans with three different pairs of sandals from DSW.

These Reef wedge slides are the perfect poolside sandal, and they’ll also look great with jeans and shorts this summer. The neutral color palette goes with just about everything.

These sandals have that sporty vibe that is so on trend right now. They’re super cushiony and soft under the feet, and the wide double straps provide comfort and stability. They run true to size, or size down if in between. I ordered the 7 and the 8, and I ended up keeping the size 7.

For my next look, I threw a casual pink cotton-twill jacket over my t-shirt and jeans, and I swapped out the reef slides for these Dolce Vita espadrille wedge sandals.

I love an espadrille wedge for spring-summer, and the sporty platform sole keeps these right on trend. They have an adjustable ankle strap closure, and I think the crisp white croc print leather is the perfect complement to these light wash jeans.

These sandals also run true to size, or size down if in between. In this case, I ordered the 7.5 and the 8, and I went with the 7.5.

Then for a dressier look that I might wear out to dinner with friends, I styled my white tee and jeans with a drapey faux suede jacket and these asymmetrical strappy Marc Fisher sandals with the slender block heel.

These sandals have a patent faux leather upper with an adjustable buckle strap, and a slightly squared-off toe. While I love how they dress up the boyfriend jeans, they will also be perfect for wearing with dresses this summer.

In fact, if you need something for a wedding or semi-formal event, these definitely work for that too. They also come in black, and I also took these sandals in the 7.5, so you might want to size down half if in between.

From sporty slides to ankle-strap heels to espadrille wedges to flip-flops, you can count on DSW to have the latest sandal styles at affordable prices. And if you haven’t already, be sure to sign up to be a DSW VIP, so you can get perks like free shipping and 5% back in Rewards.

  1. Cute sandals! I’ll definitely be checking out DSW sale on line this weekend! Have a great day!

  2. Okay, you have done it again. After unpacking my sandals, I told myself I had plenty, and I do NOT need to buy more. I have problem feet, but I have found several brands that have cute but comfortable sandals (Dansko, Clark’s, Earth, etc.) and I thought I was good to go. But those Reef sandals are cute and look to have good arch support. I don’t have a sandal with that sporty bottom, so that would fill a niche, wouldn’t it? DSW is my Achilles heel (see what I did there?) and if I go in the store, I see 3 or 4 pair I want. Anyway, all of the sandals were really cute!

    1. LOL! I get you. I thought I was done with summer sandals too… those Reefs are my faves of the 3. In fact, Alison bought the larger pair off me the second she saw them, lol!

  3. Oh wow!!!! Cute sandles. I LOVE shoes. My weakness. I have bought several already over several months and said I need to be done, as I’m really not going too much still, but the Reef ones are soooo cute and sporty. Are they hard to keep on with the platform? I like DSW and have shoes from them. I like their sales and yes, one should sign up for the rewards.

  4. Love all of the sandals but especially the Reef sandals. We are all happy summer is on the horizon! It is the Victoria Day long weekend for us here in Canada. Can’t wait to go camping in the mountains and get a mini break.

  5. I really like all three pair of sandals on you. In the pictures the straps on the Reef pair look a bit large, so I’m wondering if they rub when you walk. DSW is a place that I frequent online for shoes and handbags. So, I double checked to ensure that I have registered since your site underwent upgrades (renovation) and I have, so I am clueless about why I’m still not getting replies. Guess I’ll have to go about seeing the replies another way. I did enjoy seeing your patio serving cart post yesterday and how you have it set up. The faux tulips look great! And since I use some lemon decor in our kitchen, I love the towels. I hope you’ve had an awesome day!

    1. Ugh, that’s annoying. I will reach out to my tech team and see if they have any insight.

I wonder if anyone else is not getting replies after they are registered? Chime in, if that is so!

      1. I’m not getting emailed replies either, and I’m registered. By the way, guess what I got in the mail today? A $25 gift card from DSW! Coincidence? Hmmm….:-)
