Hi friends, happy Friday! The Athleta Semi-Annual Sale just dropped, and it’s too good to miss! If you’re eyeing a few pieces, don’t wait—today’s the last day to order for delivery by 12/24 if you’re a rewards member! Or order by 12/21 for paid priority.)

I’ve rounded up my top picks for you, including this sporty puffer (love that olive green), my go-to winter base layer, and one of my favorite gym workout tops. This sleek funnel neck pullover is perfect for layering, and these are the comfiest leggings for yoga and Pilates. I just ordered this fleece lined jacket to have another option for wearing over my tees and tanks to pilates and the gym, and I stocked up on my favorite bra-friendly workout tanks.

  1. I love Athleta clothing for the gym, playing pickleball and traveling. They have nice tops that aren’t so long that I look dumpy. I’m so glad to hear you’re going to take a few days off, Jo-Lynne. You and your family deserve it!

  2. You and I are so much alike. I startled myself this morning when I realized that I have focused on so many other things (gifts, parties, cookies for neighbors) that I forgot to plan food for Christmas Eve and day! And I still have wrapping to do. And 3 of my gifts haven’t arrived yet. Two now say they’ll be here Cmas eve. We’re trying to sort out new traditions as well as our family dynamics have changed.

  3. It might be tradition to have a big Turkey dinner but it is a lot of prep and clean up. Our eldest daughter, suggested pizza and the other two chimed in…so homemade pizza became our family tradition. I make three and each “decorate” one with their toppings of choice. It’s so much easier and relaxing. Instead of spending Christmas Day in the kitchen, you can enjoy more family time. All that to say, go for the take out and enjoy the limited time with your daughters before session starts again.
No suggestions for 2025 content. I always look forward to the new trend posts.
Merry Christmas from our home to yours! 🎄

  4. I don’t know if this is your last post for a while so I will wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Enjoy your time off with your family.

  5. Thanks for the heads up on the sale at Athleta! What size do you wear for the fleece lined jacket? I find knowing the size you wear whether it’s a small or medium helps select my size. Thank you!

  6. Just wanted to add that if you order the fleece jacket with snap front, it is true to size. Don’t size up. I had an older Athleta fleece in small and it became too right over the years. When I went to replace, o sized up to medium and that was a mistake.
