What I Wore Lately Vol. 66

It’s Wednesday again, so I’ve rounded up my daily outfits from the past couple of weeks to share with you today.

I don’t know if it’s because we all got so comfortable being at home and casual during Covid, or if my activities are just more casual these days, but I haven’t had many occasions to dress up recently. At any rate, here’s what I wore lately!

SIZING NOTES: I’m 5’5″ with an hourglass shape, and I usually take a 6/28 in pants/jeans, a small in tops, and size 8 shoe.

What I Wore Lately

I wore this outfit after my photo shoot the Wednesday two weeks ago. I didn’t grab a mirror selfie when I got home, but it’s what I wore for the rest of the day.

For some reason, I’m missing outfit pictures from that Thursday and Friday, but this is what I wore that Saturday… or at least, what I tried to wear that Saturday. We were going to the high school football game.

It was chilly, so I was planning to wear this casual sherpa jacket.

Here’s how it looks zipped up, in case you’re wondering.

But right as we were getting ready to leave for the game, I realized it was supposed to rain. I changed into a cashmere hoodie because it’s warmer than the henley tee, and then I threw a lightweight rain jacket on top.

I thought I had nursery duty for church that Sunday, although it turned out that I didn’t, but I dressed more casually than normal, expecting to be on the floor with little kids. It was another chilly, rainy day so I pulled out this cozy cashmere sweater from last year and paired it with straight crop jeans.

There’s something about that combination I wasn’t sure of, so I switched into my trusty AG Farrah skinnies, and I also tried the taupe ruched flats.

But I ended up back in the ivory chain link mules.

I went for a brisk walk last Monday morning, and then I had an appointment later in the day for a chemical peel, so I didn’t bother putting on makeup… or changing out of my activewear, apparently.

The next day I had a workout appointment, and then I paid a visit to my friendly chiropractor. My back and one knee have been really tight, and I’m trying nip it in the bud!

I had an appointment the next day to get my gray roots touched up. This is the “after” pic, I believe. She blew dry my hair super sleek and straight.

And then last Thursday, I went for a walk/run to start the day. I snapped a picture of my outfit because this is some of my favorite running gear, and it’s all still in stock. This Athleta jacket always sells out, so if you need a good running jacket, grab it now. It also makes a nice gift.

Friday was my regular mani/pedi appointment, thus the flip-flops. I also wore the KUT from the Kloth sherpa on top, but I didn’t get a picture of that.

And Saturday I was up and out early to help serve breakfast to the marching band at the high school.

It was rainy, so I threw this jacket on top. It’s from the #NSale, and I love it, but unfortunately, it sold out.

I actually did have nursery duty last Sunday, and it was another chilly/rainy day. I pulled out this cozy brown sweater because I pretty much only wear brown in the fall, and fall is flying by. I figured I better start wearing it! Also, this bracelet is such a great complement to brown.

And then I had another chiro appt on Monday, so I wore this athleisure look.

jacket (S) // tee (S)// joggers (M) // sneakers (39)

And I wore this yesterday to my workout. I was planning to keep it on all day, but I had to run to the mall at the last minute, so I changed into street clothes.

It was chilly and misty out, so I pulled out another cashmere hoodie, and topped it off with my faux leather puffer vest. FYI, this cashmere hoodie is from last year, but this year’s version is really good too; I actually have it in the taupe. Bloomies has a similar one with better inventory, also on sale. And here’s a cotton version that’s on sale, and this cable knit option looks nice (also no wool content.) It’s that swingy shape that is in style right now, if you like that.

I tried wearing my new Sorel Lennox Chelsea Boots, which are very comfortable, and of course weather proof.

But I wasn’t feeling that white sole with the rest of the outfit, so I changed into the Blondo Dagger ankle boots with the wedge lug sole. They’re also weatherproof and very comfortable.

I also added these gorgeous stretch bracelets from the newest Sheaffer Told Me To x Victoria Emerson collab. I’m wearing The Merry – Silver & Gold and The Merry – Metal Block.

And that’s a wrap! I have a photo shoot this morning, so I need to get moving. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  1. I laughed about you wanting to make plans so you can dress up! I get so excited when we’re invited somewhere because I have a reason to wear something other than jeans or joggers. I may wear jeans out, depending on what we’re doing, but with heeled boots and a cute sweater I feel dressed up. I’m loving the sherpa jackets. I really don’t need any more jackets, but I may end up with one anyway!

  2. Great looks for casual. I too wish I had more going on to dress up more. I got too use to casual at home with covid for sure.

  3. I just received the Vuori Halo joggers and the Alpine Sherpa jacket. Love them both!!! The joggers are softer than I ever expected. Can’t wait to wear them both this weekend. Great recommendations!

  4. I really like the sweatshirt that you wore Saturday. It looks really nice and of course comfortable. I hope that your knee is feeling better. It’s getting about time for me to get another injection in my arthritic knee, from my doctor at the pain center. I hope that you had a great day!
