What I Wore: Out To Lunch
Hello from Nashville! I flew down yesterday, and Cyndi and I haven’t stopped talking since she got here. Ha!
This is an outfit I wore a few weeks ago when I went out to lunch with friends. I wore a similar outfit on the plane yesterday — just minus the scarf and jacket. And I wore my OTK boots, and I didn’t carry the pink bag. Aaaaand I wore different jeans. So I guess I just wore the sweater, really. Anyway. Carrying on.
This pink sweater made the cut for my capsule wardrobe (see my 50-piece winter capsule wardrobe here) because I love the color, and the cut is flattering. It is versatile and will go with so much in my closet.
Unfortunately, it is no longer available. I got it at Nordstrom on an end of season sale last winter. See their new updated version here. It’s on sale for $49! It’s a bit longer and has the split hem, which is so trendy right now.
The jeans also stayed in my capsule because I like how the super skinny leg fits into boots, and they also work well with ankle boots because they’re cropped. I got these jeans on a clearance sale last fall, so they’re also discontinued, but these Paige cropped skinny jeans are similar.
I threw on my grey animal print scarf (similar here) and my Toms Leila Ankle Boots to complete the outfit.
This pink Tory Burch Britten Slouchy Tote was a post-Christmas splurge with Christmas money from my dad. It was on a super duper sale. It is now only available in black, oak, and bark. They are fantastic neutral-colored bags, but alas, full price.
