Mother’s Day Outfits + Gift Ideas

** Thanks to Saks OFF 5TH and Collective Voice for sponsoring this post!

I don’t know what it is about this spring, but I’ve been getting more requests for dresses than ever before. I was perusing the Saks OFF 5TH website a few weeks ago, and I found some great options for the springtime events you may have coming up. Plus, Spring & Mother’s Day Gifts are up to 70% off, so I rounded up some gift ideas at the end of this post.

Kensie Tulip Hem Dress (8) // Stuart Weitzman Espadrille Sandals (8) // Zac Posen Leather Wristlet (option) // kate spade new york freshwater pearl bracelet // Sphera Milano 14K Goldplated Twist Hoops

I always like to look a little extra special for Mother’s Day, and either of these dresses would be perfect for that.

This pretty floral number has a faux wrap silhouette with a removable belt, flutter sleeves, and a flirty tulip hemline; and you won’t believe the price!

I love how it pairs with these light pink espadrille sandals, and I’m so happy to see espadrille wedges having a moment this spring! It’s long been a favorite style of mine.

I also picked up this Zac Posen Leather Wristlet with a flip-lock closure and pretty pearl detail on the strap and a kate spade new york pearl and gold bracelet. Either of these would make really nice Mother’s Day gifts! I also like this light blue Furla option.

This is such a pretty, feminine look for Mother’s Day and other spring events. Both the dress and shoes run true to size; I’m wearing the 8.

This next dress is a little more my typical style. I love a sheath, and this one is fully lined and made of a quality stretch crepe fabric.

Alexia Admor Pleated Sheath (M) // Cole Haan Braided Leather Sandals (8) // Vince Camuto Leather Crossbody // kate spade new york freshwater pearl bracelet // Sphera Milano 14K Goldplated Twist Hoops

I especially love the asymmetrical pleated detail around the neckline. It comes in a bunch of colors; this is the Sage in a size medium; definitely size up, if in between.

With this one, I wore white Cole Haan sandals with double braided straps. These are extremely comfortable. If you’re someone who likes a dressy sandal but needs comfort and support, these are a great option. They run true to size.

I wore the same bracelet and earrings with this outfit, but this time I carried a white shoulder bag. I think I’ll have this dress hemmed so it’s closer to knee length, but otherwise it’s a really nice fit.

Saks OFF 5TH has so many nice options for Mother’s Day gift giving, as well. These Gucci sunglasses are over 50% off, and this is a better shot of those gold plated earrings.

Also, my Mar Y Sol stripe straw tote from last summer is back! Shop those and more Mother’s Day gift ideas below.

  1. I love the floral dress! Its the perfect length! And your skin looks amazing! Happy Mothers Day!

  2. I understand the love affair with a sheath dress (I like myself as well), but the floral dress (the color and style) looked really nice on you. Have a great day.

and…..your daughter will have great memories and friends for life. Life is wonderful.

  3. Good morning – and congrats to your daughter’s team and their win over the weekend! Very exciting!

Both of these dresses are beautiful! I have a question about the two navy one- my favorite bc it has sleeves and I tend to wear solids so often. 😀 Does the tulip hem split apart when you sit down or does it stay together?
Just curious because it’s hard to tell from online pics.

  4. The green dress is so pretty, but what would you suggested wearing over it if you needed to ward off the chill in air conditioned buildings?

  5. So happy for Becca and her first place win. How fun for her and you and that your parents were there to see it also.
I love both dresses. I didn’t wear one for Easter because of the cold and didn’t even think of Mother’s Day. Yikes. I better get on it. Hope we warm up. I love the wedge sandals too. I agree….hen the green dress and it’s perfection.

  6. Both dresses are beautiful and look great on you. I’m looking for a wrap dress that’s solid and not too much ruffle. The one you’re styling sort is something I would wear. I love the heel on the sandals.

    1. Is the wrap dress true to size? What size are you wearing? It will give me an idea of what my size would be. I can be either a 2 or 4 in dresses.
