I don’t know what it is about this spring, but I’ve been getting more requests for dresses than ever before. I was perusing the Saks OFF 5TH website a few weeks ago, and I found some great options for the springtime events you may have coming up. I always like to look a little extra special for Mother’s Day, and either of these dresses would be perfect for that.
This pretty floral number has a faux wrap silhouette with a removable belt, flutter sleeves, and a flirty tulip hemline; and you won’t believe the price!
I love how it pairs with these light pink espadrille sandals, and I’m so happy to see espadrille wedges having a moment this spring! It’s long been a favorite style of mine.
I also picked up this Zac Posen Leather Wristlet with a flip-lock closure and pretty pearl detail on the strap and a kate spade new york pearl and gold bracelet. Either of these would make really nice Mother’s Day gifts! I also like this light blue Furla option.
This is such a pretty, feminine look for Mother’s Day and other spring events. Both the dress and shoes run true to size; I’m wearing the 8.
This next dress is a little more my typical style. I love a sheath, and this one is fully lined and made of a quality stretch crepe fabric.

I especially love the asymmetrical pleated detail around the neckline. It comes in a bunch of colors; this is the Sage in a size medium; definitely size up, if in between.
With this one, I wore white Cole Haan sandals with double braided straps. These are extremely comfortable. If you’re someone who likes a dressy sandal but needs comfort and support, these are a great option. They run true to size.
I wore the same bracelet and earrings with this outfit, but this time I carried a white shoulder bag. I think I’ll have this dress hemmed so it’s closer to knee length, but otherwise it’s a really nice fit.

Both of these dresses are beautiful! I have a question about the two navy one- my favorite bc it has sleeves and I tend to wear solids so often. 😀 Does the tulip hem split apart when you sit down or does it stay together?

Do the white sandals run true to size and are they comfortable or just acceptable for a short time?
They’re true to size and extremely comfortable! The footbed is soft, with some padding, and the low heel and ankle straps keep them stable.
So happy for Becca and her first place win. How fun for her and you and that your parents were there to see it also.
I love both dresses. I didn’t wear one for Easter because of the cold and didn’t even think of Mother’s Day. Yikes. I better get on it. Hope we warm up. I love the wedge sandals too. I agree….hen the green dress and it’s perfection.
Both dresses are beautiful and look great on you. I’m looking for a wrap dress that’s solid and not too much ruffle. The one you’re styling sort is something I would wear. I love the heel on the sandals.
Is the wrap dress true to size? What size are you wearing? It will give me an idea of what my size would be. I can be either a 2 or 4 in dresses.
