Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing a fun white jeans outfit for fall!
That’s right. Don’t pack your white jeans away with your summer clothes. White jeans can be a great addition to your fall wardrobe. The key is to make your outfits look intentional.
It’s a little bit unexpected to see white jeans paired with boots and sweaters, but that’s part of the fun!
I love the casual, laid-back vibe of this slouchy knit pullover. The faded black yarn gives it a well-loved, worn-in effect, and the wide V-neck is flattering.
Here’s the rear view. I’m wearing a medium in the sweater, by the way. It’s supposed to fit a little bit oversized, and since it’s from the juniors department, I didn’t dare size down. I think it fits perfectly.
These booties are incredibly comfortable, and I like the lower heel for a change. The buckles are a cute detail, although they have a zipper on the inside of the ankle, so there’s no need to adjust the buckles. This cognac color is versatile and will compliment so many fall outfits.
I decided to match my bag to my boots. I don’t always do that, but it seemed to make the most sense for this outfit. This cognac satchel is affordable and really cute. It has plenty of room inside, but it’s not so huge as to be overwhelming. I think it looks a lot more expensive than it is.
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my hair. I’ve been using the T3 curling wand that my husband gave me for my birthday.
The secret is to curl your hair away from your face and then wait for your hair to cool completely before you touch it. Then I just run my fingers through it briefly and scrunch it a bit.
These jeans came in my last Trunk Club. They’re the Paige Verdugo that I have in a few other colors. I really like the fit and the length. I sized up to a 30 (I usually wear 29) and I like the fit. You don’t want your white jeans too tight. They’re not as forgiving as darker colors.
I kept my jewelry simple — hoops, a mixed metal pendant, and some Alex and Ani bangles, and I’m still wearing CND Fedora on my nails.
OUTFIT DETAILS:
black cable knit pullover // white skinnies // cognac satchel // ankle strap booties c/o Payless // luna pendant // similar hoops // assorted Alex and Ani bracelets (some c/o) // link ring // watch // nails: CND Fedora

Fabulous colors all together and that is a great pullover!
Thanks, Nancy. It’s comfy too!
Love it! Very Inspiring!
Thanks, Amy!
I got those same white jeans on my last trunk club box too. I also sized up in those. Paige Verdugo are my favorite jeans-they fit so well! I am happy to see this fall look with white jeans. Love it!
They really are an amazing jean. Thanks, Nadine!
Hi there! I live on the coast just north of Charleston and it is HOT and HUMID! We don’t start cooling off around here until late November …if we’re lucky! So pack your Lilly and leave your sweaters at home! Have a wonderful time in the Lowcountry!
Thank you! I may need to add some Lilly to my closet. I don’t have any. *horrors* haha!
I think white jeans are the perfect color to brighten the fall looks!!
And even though I love it all year round, it is harder when there’s slush outside!!
Love the booties—Payless is truly one of my go to stores!!

Yes, snow makes them dicey. although I did style them last year in the snow with a navy turtleneck. It was literally snowing when we took the pictures. Ha!
Love the outfit..especially the sweater. I’m from the east coast heading to the dee south this weekend. I have a couple of cute chambray pieces I’m bringing if that helps with the transitional dilemma. Enjoy your getaway Jolynne.
Thanks, Susan. Chambray is a great idea.
Super cute on you!! I had been wondering if I could still wear my white jeans.
Definitely!
I live in SC also. It is still hot and humid. Pack your shorts, Jacks or in your case Tory, Maxi dress and throw on a jean jacket at night. It is all about the accessories down here. And, don’t forget some pearls.
Enjoy your trip so jealous. I love HHI.
Thanks, Gerri! Looking forward to it!
I’m going to Payless today and pick up some of those cute booties. I like the lower heel also. Is your nail polish a gel ? About how long do you find it lasts? Thanks for all of your fashion ideas.
Hey Sharon. My nail polish is gel. I get it done about every 2 weeks and it usually lasts very well. It’s really important to go to a technician who is very careful and removes it gently, and I also use CND Solar Oil every night to keep my nails from getting brittle. It’s been working pretty well.
1. Love all your posts!
2. I went from never wearing glasses/contacts to wearing trifocals (????????) – it took a few days (less than a week) to adjust, but I’ve worn them for 6 years & love em!
Are they glasses or contacts? I have no problem with the progressive lenses in my glasses, but I really can’t deal with those monovision contacts. 🙁
Ahhhh – I should’ve investigated before handing out advice lol. Mine are glasses. Thank you so much for all your amazing posts!!!
LOL, no worries! I just wanted to make sure I understood. I was HOPING someone would have a promising multifocal contact lens story. 🙂
I love the boots! I just saw these the other day at Payless while shopping for my daughter. Will for sure go back for a pair!
Also, I have to say, I just love your style and ability to put outfits together. You always look so classy! Thanks for all the ideas!
Thank you so much! 🙂
Like many southerners, I was always told to out up my white pieces after Labor Day. Now that I’m older, I let the temps help dictate what I wear. I really like the way you put this outfit together. The sweater is awesome! Have a great day!
Thanks, Ginger. You too! xo
Like the looks of those boots. I checked their website & they show they come in wide. Yay! I’ve kept my “whites” out beyond Labor Day this year. It’s something new for me, as I’m one of those who’s grown up with that “no white after Labor Day” rule! We’ve had some extra warm weather here in the Pocono’s so I haven’t had an opportunity to wear any sweaters. But I think that’s going to change starting this weekend! Thank you for the great fashion ideas, especially the white jeans ones!
I hope so! I’m ready for some cooler temps.
Just curious—what exactly are old-lady monovision lenses?
LOL! It just means that I’m old and need bifocals. These days, they give you a contact for distance for one eye, and a contact for close-up vision for the other eye. They’re called monovision lenses.
i’M 60 AND HAVE WORN A MONOVISION CONTACT FOR OVER 10 YEARS! iT’S SO WONDERFUL TO BE ABLE TO SEE AND READ AND PUT ON MAKEUP, ETC. WITHOUT HAVING TO TAKE OFF AND ON READING GLASSES.. And, BTW, I don’t consider myself an old lady!! LOL
How do you keep you Alex and Ani Bracelets looking so amazing? Mine look less shiny and a little discolored.
I am not precious with mine at all. They sit out on my dresser all the time, and I wear them often, as you know. They aren’t super shiny, but I don’t mind. I kind of like the worn in look. 🙂
I’ll be interested to see the grey nails. I tried them once, and evidently chose a shade too light, or maybe too cool a shade for my skin tone. My daughter said my hands looked corpse-ish! Not quite the look I was going for!
You definitely have to try different shades to see what looks best on your. I often see colors on other women, and when I try them, they look awful on me. I went with a very dark grey today. It’s called Asphalt. Honestly I wanted something lighter, but you know how it is. It’s hard to know what it will look like till it’s on your nails and then it’s too late to change. I hate to do that to my manicurist so I rarely ask her to change something after she starts.
That would probably be better on me. I did navy recently and that looked fine.
LOVE navy nail polish. 🙂 That’s another one I do a lot in the fall/winter.
Love the outfit! If the fabric is heavy enough, like jeans, I think it’s fine to wear white late into the year
Love the white jeans outfit and those cute booties!! I almost did something similar. Ha!! One of these days we are going to have the same outfit on. 🙂
Haha! No doubt!
I really like the booties styled with your white jeans – just bought them last weekend at Payless. Along with ballet flats, a low heeled suede shoe and a scarf. Love the BOGO sales!
SWEET!!!
Jo-Lynne,here’s to sweater envy and that one is gorgeous. I miss the seasons. Oh well I live in the Caribbean and folks pay big money to visit here. You whole outfit is great.
True, but I think I would miss seasons too after a while. 🙂
Love the outfit! Trying to get into the booties look and have two pairs but not sure what socks to wear with them. It looks like you’re not wearing any.
I don’t until it gets cold in the winter. Then I wear socks that match the boots, but I don’t usually do much of a cuff, or I cuff them lower so the socks barely show. 🙂
I love that we can now where white after Labor Day. White goes with so many things and brightens up a dreary day, plus white jeans look awesome with slouchy or oversized sweaters. I love this look on you and the boots are super cute. Guess I might have to check out Payless and there fall selection. Thanks for sharing. – Amy

Sort of late to the party, but I wear multifocal lenses and have for about a year. They seem to work well. I was aghast at the thought of toting around reading glasses. But I’ll probably get lasik where one eye is corrected for near and one for far vision. I’m just tired of waking up and not being able to see.
