Do you have suggestions for men’s travel backpack (not heavy duty hiking ones) and fanny packs? What do men use to carry all there stuff in while traveling besides pant pockets?
Yes! This is the one Paul has, he says “This large backpack is perfect for travel, hiking, and everyday use, with waterproof polyester, shoe compartment, and USB charging port. I think I bought the small 25 L. It is cheap and has been awesome. I got it originally for the Italy trip.”
For other sundries, he uses an under shirt passport holder like this one. He says any will do.

This is a question for your Saturday post.
My daughter is getting married at the end of September and I’m looking for a dress. The wedding will be outdoors at 6:00 pm in the Colorado mountains with the reception in a large cabin. A western like theme with mauves, oranges, browns. The weather will most likely be chilly/cold and there could possibly be rain. I am 5’0” petite 100 lbs, slender/straight body and 68 years old. Do you have any recommendations for my attire as mother of the bride? I’ve been trying to wait for fall fashions and colors so hopefully you’ll be able to give me suggestions, will gladly take your advice.

I love the Kut From the Kloth jeans in paprika from Evereve, can you give suggestions as to tops to pair with it? And can you tell me if you sizes down or took your regular size in them. Thanks for putting all the sales in one post, that makes it easier to shop from.
I love them! I’m wearing them right now. I’ve worn them with ivory or chocolate brown mostly. They also look good with denim and if you’re into more colorful palettes, they would look nice with olive green or even a brighter green shade. Size wise, they are TTS for KUT or maybe cut slightly smaller than some. I tried the 6 and 8 and kept the 8 but they are bagging in the rear just a bit. I think I could have gotten away with the 6. Hope that helps!
KUT is usually 1 size down from your regular. Usually I’m a 4, in KUt, which I love I’m a 2! Kim Rosen

Love reading the fall posts–thanks for the sales info. Can you tell me if the Gap brown and white stripe sweater runs big or small? itchy? Is the boat neck obnoxious? I tried to purchase the Maddie suede trucker jacket at Nordstrom that one of your links led me to–and unfortunately the brown and the green in medium is already sold out! Fall stuff seems to be moving fast!
The brown and white stripe sweater is very soft and comfortable. The boatneck is subtle and it runs true to size. I love it.
I’m excited about the Soma sale as I am ready to bra shop, finally! 😉 Also, when I ordered the Loft wedge sweater tee the other day, I impulsively checked the Lou&Gray SignatureSoft section and picked up a new set. My ordered arrived yesterday and I LOVE everything! I am obsessed with my SignatureSoft sweatsuits, and I was so excited to find a warm weather set in a great neutral. I can’t wait to wear it!
