Amazon Favorites: New Finds & Repeat Buys for Home & Beauty

Hey friends! I’m taking a break from fashion today to share some of my recent Amazon purchases. Most of these are new-to-me beauty finds and home products, while a few are tried-and-true staples I keep reordering. Either way, they’re all things I’ve tested, loved, and highly recommend!

Amazon Beauty Finds

Beauty by Earth

Self Tanner

My new go-to self tanning product, this lotion blends seamlessly into the skin, giving an even, streak-free, natural-looking tan. Best of all, it’s made with organic aloe vera, shea butter, and botanical extracts—no harmful additives or dyes. I’m using the Medium to Dark shade, and the color looks so natural.

Beauty by Earth

Self Tanning Drops for Face

These tanning drops are from the same brand, and I mix them with my daytime moisturizer for a natural-looking bronze glow. Love that they’re easy to use and from a fairly clean beauty brand.

Vitality Extracts

Hair Envy

I’ve been using this essential oil blend to help stimulate growth where my hair is thinning around my face. I apply it the night before washing my hair and sleep in it—surprisingly, it doesn’t make my pillow gross, and it actually smells good! As for results… TBD. I know hair growth takes time, but here’s hoping! 🤞✨

HEETA

Shampoo Scalp Brush Massager

Picked up this little scalp massager to use with my essential oils and hair treatments, and I’m loving it! It’s supposed to help cleanse your scalp when used with shampoo, but I mainly use it to massage in oils and (hopefully!) stimulate hair growth. Plus, it just feels amazing.

Kate Sommerville

ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment

One of the few products I’ve tried lately that feels truly game-changing. I can actually see a difference immediately—my skin feels baby soft, and the glow lasts all day. I keep it in my shower and use it 3-4 times a week for a quick refresh. It’s got little scrubby bits to clear out pores, fruit enzymes to brighten, and lactic acid to gently exfoliate. Plus, honey and aloe keep it from being too harsh. If your skin’s been looking a little dull, this will wake it right up!

BeautifyBeauties

Continuous Mister Spray Bottle

I saw someone share this spray bottle on Instagram and had to try it—love the continuous mist! I just keep water in it and use it to revive day-old hair. So simple, but so good!

Amazon Home Finds

Tate's Bake Shop

White Chocolate Raspberry Cookies

Tate’s cookies are always a favorite, but this limited-time flavor is next level! I only found them once in-store, so I checked Amazon—and of course, they had them. Grabbed a 4-pack just in case they disappear!

Static Schmatic

Natural Static Cling Remover

I can't remember who recommended this natural static cling remover, but I’m so glad I found it! I try to avoid aerosol sprays, and this actually works—I was seriously amazed. Love that it comes in a duo, so I can keep one in my car and one in my room!

AOZITA

Espresso Cups + Saucers & Spoons

We have an espresso maker but were down to just two cups, so I ordered this set—and I love it! Super cute, and the mini spoons are such a nice touch. Speaking of which… I think it’s time for an espresso! ☕️✨

Royal Craft Wood

Bamboo Wood Cutting Board Set

I'm trying to cut back on plastic, so I swapped out some old cutting boards for this bamboo set. They’re nice and sturdy, and I love the range of sizes—though I still need to grab a couple of bigger ones.

Redmond

Real Salt – Ancient Fine Sea Salt

I’ve been using this salt for years and figured it was worth a mention! It’s an unrefined ancient salt, mined in the U.S., and packed with trace minerals and vital electrolytes. I use it as my everyday table salt and for cooking—such a simple swap with great benefits!

D'orcia Home

Heavy Duty Durable Coat and Clothes Hangers

So excited to find these hangers! They’re almost identical to the ones I’ve used for years (which were sadly discontinued), and I hadn’t been able to find anything like them until now. They’re plastic but have a wood-look finish, and the best part? They’re super thin, so they don’t take up much space in the closet. Total win!

  1. Appreciate this post. I have a puffer jacket that needs regular anti-static spray and have been using Static Guard. Horrible smell. I switched out our plastic cutting boards also. A friend makes them of different woods and gave us a few. One is so beautiful it is wall art. I also got rid of plastic utensils, Rubbermaid style containers and non-stick cookware.

  2. As a Carnivore, I can’t live without my Redmond’s salt and my bamboo cutting boards. Just remember that bamboo will be a little harder on your knives and you will need to properly clean and nourish the bamboo. I like to use an oil product by a company called bambu (bambuhome.com). It’s a clean, non-toxic blend of oils that many of you may appreciate. It also contains beeswax to waterproof, hydrate, and add shine to the board.

  3. Thank you, great finds. I’m glad you don’t feature Amazon fashion, but love these for home and beauty!
I just bought ecru denim (late to the party, I know). I’d love to see your style recommends. 💜

  4. Great post!

Thanks for link for wooden cutting boards! I am excited to try these out!

Check out the topia slim wood hangers! I have them in white and they are great quality!

  5. JoLynne – I know you’ve mentioned before that you also struggled with melasma on your face. Don’t the tanning drops for your face exacerbate that issue and make the spots even darker?

  6. I have (and love) those bamboo cutting boards! I’ve gotten rid of so much plastic from my kitchen. The best wooden spoons are Kitchen Aid. Going to try the Beauty by Earth self tanner. Thanks for sharing!

  7. Have you tried the Yuka app? You scan products’ bar codes and it tells you if a product (beauty, food) has any known risky ingredients. It rates a product Excellent, Good, Poor or Bad. It looks like you are concerned about what you’re using, so thought you might like to try it if you don’t already. I’m also trying to eliminate plastics and other harmful ingredients in products when possible.

    1. I use the Yuka app almost everyday. Trying to stay away from harmful products and there is so much out there. Products I really thought have been safe, are not!

I’m definitely trying a few of these items. Especially the salt. Thanks Jolynne!

    2. Haven’t heard of the Yuka AP. I have used EWG only so far. I’ll have to check this out. I am always concerned about ingredients in my foods and beauty products. I’ve gone CLEAN in them all and even let my hair go grey(no more dying) at age 60(now 63) and as hard as that was, it now feels freeing and looks more natural.
