It’s been a minute since I’ve done a Loving Lately post, and with the new year in full swing, it felt like a good time to bring it back. This is a small collection of new finds and longtime favorites that make life easier or just a little more enjoyable during these dreary winter days.

Polished Comfort
The pieces I’ve been reaching for when I want to feel comfortable but still pulled together—whether I’m at home or heading out.

Barbour Winter Beadnell Waterproof Jacket – I grabbed this coat on sale right before the holidays, and it’s turned out to be the perfect everyday winter coat. It checks all the boxes: waterproof, practical, lightweight but still warm, and classic in a way that never feels dated. It’s not on sale at the moment, but Bloomingdale’s is currently offering $25 back for every $100 you spend, which means $75 in Loyallist Rewards. This is one you can have and wear for years.
Soma Notch Collar Pajama Top & Pajama Pants – I like to feel put together even when I’m in pajamas, so I refresh mine regularly once they start looking worn. I recently ordered this collared, button-up style, which I wasn’t sure about, since I don’t usually like collars, but it’s surprisingly comfortable. I also love that it feels a bit more elevated than my usual Cool Nights crewneck sets. Plus, their Embraceable fabric is slightly thicker, which makes them warmer and perfect for this time of year.
Vuori Halo Modern Straight Leg Pant – My go-to when I don’t feel like wearing “hard pants,” but it’s not quite pajama time either. They’re buttery soft, don’t cut in at the waist, and have an easy fit that still looks presentable. I usually wear them with a cozy sweater and UGG slippers at home, but they also work well with sneakers and a hoodie for casual athleisure looks.
Quince Mongolian Cashmere Oversized Crewneck – The sweater I can’t quit… It might be time to grab another color! I reach for it several times a week when I want something casual and comfy but still looks nice—which, let’s be honest, is most days. I usually wear it with jeans, but sometimes I throw it on with the Vuori pants for around the house.
Treasure & Bond Oversized Pointelle V-Neck Sweater – This is such a pretty piece at a great price. The pink color is perfect with light-wash jeans or grey denim, and it feels like a subtle nod to Valentine’s Day without being too literal. Along the same line, this Caslon stripe sweater is another really nice option.
MOTHER Lil Kick It Jeans – I had to include these, even though you’ve heard me talk about them ad nauseam. They’re my favorite everyday jeans, the first pair I reach for when I walk into my closet, and they truly go with everything.
Frank & Eileen Grey Popover – This top is relaxed but refined, one of those pieces that always looks good without trying too hard. I love the new grey mélange—it has that sweatshirt-like feel, but in a more grown-up way, and it looks great with blue jeans.
Veronica Beard Bancroft Pointed-Toe Flat – I just picked these up, and they’re a great little transition shoe. I love the updated V-cut topline and pointed toe, and the quality is really nice. I have them in the chestnut color, which is such a perfect neutral.
Pretty Little Details
Small things, but the kind that make an everyday outfit or routine feel a little more finished.

Electric Picks Icon Bracelet – I just discovered this jewelry brand, and my first piece was a hit. This bracelet is so pretty and delicate. It looks great on its own but would also layer beautifully with other delicate pieces.
Jane Win HOPE Pendant – I reach for this when I want more of a statement necklace that still feels wearable. I love that it’s reversible, so you get two slightly different looks. It also comes in a smaller size if you prefer something a bit more delicate.
Victoria Beckham Satin Kajal Liner – I finally found an eyeliner I really like after my old favorite was discontinued. It’s super soft and blendable, with a built-in smudger on the other end. The only downside is that it isn’t self-sharpening, but the formula makes it worth it.
RevitaLash – I went back to this lash serum after trying Sweed, which didn’t do much for me (although others love it, so it’s worth a try!). My lashes are noticeably fuller and getting long again. I saw my eye doctor this week and she couldn’t believe they were real. (She also said it’s fine to use RevitaLash, and is actually planning to try it herself!)
Lumify Eye Drops – These are also eye-doctor approved, which makes me happy because I love them. I’ve been using them for a while, but wanted to give them another mention because they’re so good at reducing redness and brightening tired eyes. My doctor just recommended using them about 10 minutes before putting contacts in, since they can pull a bit of moisture from the lenses.
Everyday Upgrades
Simple swaps that have been working well for me lately.

Blueland Dishwasher Detergent – I’m always trying to reduce my use of microplastics, so after years of using Finish dishwasher pods, I decided to try these from Blueland. They clean really well and include a rinse-aid ingredient, so there’s no need for a separate product. I bought the starter kit with the tin to keep everything neat under the sink (and to prevent the pods from getting wet). If it continues to work well for me, I’m going to put it on auto-order.
M3 Naturals Retainer Cleanser Tablets – My retainers were starting to look pretty gross, even though I clean them regularly with Retainer Brite. I tried these cleanser tablets from M3 Naturals, and my retainers have never looked cleaner. One of those small things that makes a surprisingly big difference.
Muslin Baby Washcloths – I love these for removing makeup. They’re gentle and effective, and fairly inexpensive.
Nassau Candy Dark Chocolate Peppermint Cremes – This one is a little random, but I love these. They’re so good, I usually have one (or three!) after dinner. I found them at Whole Foods, which isn’t super convenient for me—but that leads me to one more thing I’ve been loving lately…
Whole Foods Free Delivery with Amazon Prime – It’s only $9/month and honestly a game-changer. I’ve never really been a grocery delivery person, but I decided to try this recently, and my first order was seamless—and arrived within just a few hours. I may be a convert!

Hmmm, I think I’m going to try Blueland next time I need dishwasher detergent. I’ve been using dropps, but would love a plastic free option.
When I click on any of the Nordstrom items it takes me to a main page and not the specific item. Am I doing something wrong!
Hey Susan, I reached out to my affiliate network and they see things routing correctly on their end. They are asking for this info, can you provide?
Are you using mobile or desktop when you click the link?
If mobile, what software version are you on? (For example, iOS 26.2 or the Android version.)
Which browser are you using to read and click through the blog post? (Chrome, Firefox, etc)
Do you have the Nordstrom app installed, and does it open when you click Nordstrom links?
Thanks! Feel free to email me if you don’t wan to reply here.
We use Blueland dish tabs too. And the laundry tabs. We like them and find they work well in our Bosch dishwasher. I belong to Thrive Market and also enjoy curbside pick up at our local grocery and Target. With the lack of cashiers at those stores, it saves time.
Whole Foods is a distance from us as well. Those chocolate mints are yummy. Fun post today!!
I’m looking for a straight jean and wonder if you like the Mother Lil Kick it or the AG Brinley style better? I’m 67 and carrying a bit more fluff in my middle! I find I have to go up a size in Mother denim.
Thanks for your help!
Both are very comfortable, but I feel like the mother pair has more structure and I like that about them.
How does the Barbour jacket fit? Size?
I feel like their coats run slightly big. I was between a US 6 and US 8 and I went with the 8 so I can layer over bulkier sweaters.
I had traditional braces from ages 51-53 (got them off just under a year ago) and now have clear retainers. I was using the Retainer Brite tablets to clean them, as recommended by my orthodontist, and those were working fine. However, I discovered a wonderful ultrasonic cleaning pod by Zima Dental called Dental Pod. After using the Dental Pod, my retainers look brand new. The pod does come with some cleaning tablets but I also use my Retainer Brite tablets. I’m really enjoying the Dental Pod.
Oh cool. I did try an ultrasonic thing once but it didn’t seem to do as much as I expected (there were no tablets, though). I’l look up the Dental Pod.
I also love Blueland! I also use the laundry detergent, the toilet bowl cleaner and the hand soap! So great to get rid of using so much plastic!
Good to know! I may try some other products now that I know it works so well.
Regarding the pink sweater, Nordstrom’s site says it runs big but you were wearing a small and considering sizing up to medium. Is the Nordstrom advice inaccurate? I’m interested in buying but I want to get a better sense of sizing. Thanks!
I noticed that! I don’t get it. I would prefer mine fit the way it fits the model, but the small doesn’t leave me anything to drape. Here’s a photo.
I think I’ll go with the Small so it’s not too tight. What jeans are you wearing? Do you like them? I tried the new Kut jeans Avery Straight from Evereve and they fit but are a little loose, Kut runs so big for me. I should have gone two sizes down. I’m also not sure about the cut of the jeans. They break on top of my sneakers and they look so cute on the model but my eyes are not used to the wider leg straights.
It’s the Madewell Jules and I DO really like them! Just after I said Madewell jeans never work for me. I am eating my words already! The KUT Avery just came today. Can’t wait to try them on.
I love love these Loving Lately posts. The randomness of the products from every category of life are so interesting! Keep them coming!
Just wondering what size you purchased the Vuori pants. I didn’t see a size note. I am trying to decide if I am a M or L. Thank you!
I tried the S and the M and I kept the M. They’re a little roomy, but the small pulled a bit over my hips.
Electric Picks – I bought one of their bracelets through Nordstrom just before Christmas. First time purchase from that brand. With only 6 gentle uses, it broke. Not the clasp. The middle of the bracelet chain broke and it fell off my arm! So I sent it back per Nordstrom’s instructions. Electric Picks refused the return and isn’t honoring their lifetime guarantee. Thankfully Nordstrom refunded me. Nordstrom has A+ customer service. EP is garbage!!! Just wanted you to know my experience since like me, EP is new to you.
Great post thanks. Just wondering which shade of the Victoria Beckham Kajal you have and like? I am thinking of getting one but deciding on shade… Do you find it lasts well on your lid?
It lasts great, I got the darkest black but it’s pretty harsh. I may try a grey next.
Hi there, what self tanner are you currently using?
Thanks
I like Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Body Butter but I can’t find it right now. Another good one is this Beauty By Earth Tanning Lotion.
