Better Late Than Never… I Hope

I have been so totally remiss in not mentioning the Christmas party for Philadelphia mom bloggers last month.  Colleen provided the location in her gracious home, and Graco generously provided the food and wine and several fabulous raffle gifts.  And everyone went home with a huge box of Rubbermaid food storage containers (which I desperately needed, so thanks Graco!!)  It was so much fun to see everyone and meet the faces of the people I’ve only ever met online.

I had every intention of posting pictures the day after the event, but I had some technical difficulties — okay, so I left my camera at Colleen’s house.  And would you believe I STILL haven’t stopped by to pick it up?  (The event was in mid-December.)

I was going to wait to post until I had my own photos, but since that could be June, I want to go ahead and thank to Colleen and Graco for organizing and sponsoring the event.  And here is a link to Colleen’s Flickr photostream where you can see HER photos of the event.

And Sarah from Genesis Moments actually used her Flip Mino video camera (mine sat in my purse — I know, what kind of blogger am I?) to take a few quick clips, and you can go to her site today to see an “interview” of Colleen and me from the party, which is basically just Colleen talking and me nodding my head in agreement because I totally FREEZE in front of a camera.  But anyway, check it out! Or hey, better yet, I think I can embed her video right here on my blog!

  1. How fun! Colleen is also one of my favorite friends that I have made from blogging. I wish we had more bloggers in our area that I could hang out with- so jealous 🙂

  2. Hey, I got a Flip for Christmas — have you noticed the thing slowing down at all, maybe due to lowering battery life??

  3. Jo-Lynne, all I can say is I thank God for you b/c you have brought so much laughter into my life since you have been apart of it!! You constantly make me laugh!! Love ya…

  4. Shan, srsly, that’s the sweetest thing anyone has said to me in a very long time! I think making people laugh is a high compliment. 🙂
