If there’s one gift that never gets old, it’s a fresh set of pajamas. Especially during the winter months, sleepwear is always a win, so today I’m rounding up the best winter pajamas for both men and women. From classic flannel sets to buttery-soft loungewear, these picks are perfect for gifting (or getting) this season. Because who doesn’t love to unwrap something soft and cozy?
One of our holiday traditions includes opening pajama gifts on Christmas Eve. I started this one long ago, and for several years, the kids seemed surprised and delighted. Nowadays, of course, they know to expect them, but they still enjoy opening their new pajamas. I keep thinking I should change it up and put the pajamas under the tree and surprise them with a different gift on Christmas Eve. What do you all think? Will that get me in trouble, or be a fun surprise?

My vote is to keep the pajama tradition going! I have been doing this since my boys were little and now their wives love getting jammies on Chrismas Eve too! This is the first year my grandkids wil be joining the tradition… open and wear the pajamas while eating Christmas cookies and watching a Christmas movie. I asked the boys if they want to take over; but for now, they want me to continue this much loved Christmas Eve tradition!
I say keep the tradition. They will love adding their spouses and kids into it someday too. We all bought the same PJs from Hanna Anderson that are good quality and last and we bring them out each year to wear together Christmas morning. Even the grands have the same ones. We are about due for another print. I love looking back at the pictures of us all together looking the same.
Kathy! This brings back many sweet memories of Hanna Andersson jammies for my 3 grands. Such adorable mix and match prints. Excellent quality, they have now all been passed down to younger cousins. Jo-Lynne, I vote for keeping the Christmas Eve tradition alive!
My girls and I used to do that on Christmas eve. My oldest passed away in 2010 and my other daughter lives in a different state than me so that tradition stopped. My daughter and I watch It’s a Wonderful Life each year now on Christmas Eve at the same time in two different states. My vote is to keep it going as it makes great memories.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine anything worse than losing a child.
