FFANY Shoes on Sale at QVC

October is in full swing, and I’m loving the cooler temperatures, colorful leaves, and all the pumpkins adorning front porches throughout my neighborhood.

As you probably know, October is also National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so today I’m teaming up with QVC to share about their “FFANY Shoes on Sale” — an opportunity to raise funds for breast cancer research while shopping for shoes.

I’m sure there is no one reading this post who is untouched by cancer. Personally, I’ve lost more friends and family members than I care to count to this dreadful disease, so I’m happy to have this opportunity to help raise funds for breast cancer research.

“FFANY Shoes on Sale” is a a multi-media event promoting breast cancer research and educational support.

It began as a shoe sale in a tent in Central Park in 1994, when co-founders of FFANY (Fashion Footwear Association of New York) wanted to create an opportunity for members of the shoe industry and compassionate customers to come together to raise funds to find a cure for breast cancer.

Now in its 26th year, QVC presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale” is the largest fundraising event of the shoe industry, and it has generated more than $57 million for breast cancer research and education since its inception. This is all part of QVC’s ongoing commitment to promoting women’s empowerment and wellness.

Here’s how it works: In the month of October, donated footwear is sold on live television through QVC and at an annual NYC charity gala event in a special designer shoe salon.

These Carlos By Carlos Santana booties are just one example of what you’ll find at “FFANY Shoes on Sale”. Unfortunately they’re not on the website just yet (working on that!) but there are so many other shoes to choose from.

Snake print is one of the hottest trends this fall, and I love how these booties level up my neutral outfit.

This is an opportunity to shop over 70,000 pairs of brand name, donated shoes and accessories that are at least 50% off retail prices, while more than 80% of your purchase price goes to breast cancer research and education.

The best part is, you can shop this sale easily from the comfort of home at QVC.com!

All merchandise featured in QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale” has been donated, and a minimum of 80% percent of your purchase price (excludes shipping and handling charges and tax) benefits Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation.

In addition to that, I’m donating 100% of my QVC sales from this event to Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation.

The only thing better than shopping is shopping for a cause, so shop more of my favorites below!

This is just a sampling of what’s available. There are may more that weren’t available for this shopping widget. See them all HERE.

  1. Happy Bday to your sweet daughter. You should be proud of your kids. They sound like great kids and that comes from great parents. :). Enjoy them. Never heard of this QVC event but it sure sounds great. It’s nice you are helping promote it. Cancer research is so important. You are right…. we all have been touched by it. :(. Happy Fall. We were freezing temps this morning in the NW.

  2. PS. I just can’t get behind the snakeskin. Ugh. Just this AM on my walk I almost stepped on a snake. I’m so afraid of them. What snake is out in freezing AM temps?  Lol

  3. Happy Birthday to your daughter! Those boots are fantastic! I need a pair of snakeskin print ones! Hope to see you on my Fancy Friday linkup party!

  4. What a great initiative! I have lost way too many people to cancer as well so I am all about raising money for research…and getting some cute new shoes in this process. I absolutely love these booties! I think of all the snakeskin booties I have seen out there, these might be my favorite. I love the way the brown heel contrasts with the snakeskin print. Great post! Than you for sharing.
