Good morning! Whew, this has been a day already. I didn’t think I was going to get a post up, but then I remembered I had these pictures.
This is probably the last summer outfit I’ll be posting because Cyndi and I start 25 Days of Fall Fashion next Saturday!!!
I’m a big fan of florals right now, which is a nice departure from my obsession with stripes. Don’t worry, I’m not giving up on stripes, but for today I’m styling this floral top from Loft.
I like how it has a v-neck but it’s not super low, and the ruffle straps are cute. It’s kind of voluminous, but the front tuck helps it not be too overwhelming.
Honestly, I think this top would be more flattering on someone who is smaller up top, but it’s fun for a change. I styled it with black shorts and black sandals to take my daughter to her middle school open house last week.
These jeans are under $100, and I really like the fit. They’re by BlankNYC. The wash is almost an acid-wash, but not quite. The 80s are back, y’all!
In this shot, you can see the material on both the top and jeans a little better.
I’m wearing blush espadrille wedges, and I carried a taupe bag.
Since the top is so busy, I didn’t bother with a necklace, but I did add these double hoop earrings. I’m wearing these a lot lately, I just love the bold but delicate statement.
Hope y’all enjoy the rest of your weekend!
