Tapered Collection Friends & Family 20% Off Sale

Good news, friends! Tapered Collection just launched their Friends & Family Event, and now through Sunday, November 12, you can save 20% on your purchase with the code FALLFRIEND!

A lot of you loved these tees when I first introduced them to you back in the summertime. (You can see those original posts HERE and HERE.) As I recall, some of you weren’t able to get the styles you wanted in your size, but now they’re fully stocked plus she’s added some new styles for fall and winter. The tapered v-neck I’m wearing above is one of my all time favorite white t-shirts.

What makes these tees different from anything else on the market is the longer tapered hem. This helps create a silhouette that flatters a typical woman’s body, plus there’s no need to mess with a front-tuck. Best of all, they’re made of the softest supima cotton, and they’re not see-through at all.

This long sleeve henley is one of her newer styles. It comes in white, midnight, and black. It’s perfect for layering under cardigans and jackets, but it’s also cute enough (and thick enough) to be worn alone. The notched neckline adds a nice element of interest while still being modest.

I like that it has a true sleeve that starts at the shoulder, and they’re nice and long. For size reference, I take a medium in her tees so if you tend to run in between sizes, I recommend sizing up.

Here I am wearing this tee under my trusty leather jacket. It’s a great length, and it’s also easy to adjust if you like it a little shorter or a little longer. It stays put wherever you place it.

She also sent me a three quarter v-neck tee to try. I really love the shape of this neckline, and I’m always a sucker for a dolman sleeve. The trim around the neckline is a nice detail as well.

Here’s a better view of the sleeve detail. It’s super flattering worn on its own and makes a great top for transition weather.

Here you can see how easily it layers under a cardigan. The three quarter length sleeves work perfectly under this cardigan because they’re long enough to give you some added warmth but not long enough to show where the sleeves on the sweater split.

I thought this made a nice work wear look for those of you who are teachers or work in more casual office environments. These pants are the Shale Stone Grey, and they’re 40% off right now. FYI, I sized up one in these. Also, I’m wearing the tee in Black, if you’re wondering which it is. Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between navy and black on the computer. Finally, the cardigan is the Purple Plum. I just wish I’d worn black shoes to bookend the outfit, but anyway… Isn’t it funny how we see things in pictures we don’t notice in person?

If you’ve been looking for thicker tees that are nice enough to wear alone and for layering under your winter sweaters and jackets, you must try Tapered Collection. And don’t forget to use code FALLFRIENDS for 20% off through Sunday!
