MONDAY: Pork Chops with store-bought BBQ sauce, roasted broccoli and brown rice
TUESDAY: Herbed Chicken Rosé with mashed potatoes and sautéed swiss chard
WEDNESDAY: Salmon Cakes with roasted carrots and a side salad (hoping to harvest some fresh lettuce from our garden!!)
THURSDAY: Crustless Quiche with another side salad (my kids actually love salad, go figure!!)
FRIDAY: leftovers (or pizza take-out) cause that’s how we roll on Friday nights
SATURDAY: Gourmet Burgers on the grill with all the fixin’s (Udi’s Gluten Free hamburger rolls for me)

I have to ask … why is that chicken called rose? It looks delicious, whatever it means. I think I will try it soon!
I have NO IDEA, lol. That is just what it is called on the recipe card I got from a friend 17 years ago — YES, SEVENTEEN. 🙂
I wonder if it originally used red wine or rose wine. I bet it would be good with any of those, too! (I mean, how wrong can you go with good wine?)
Chicken and Sauteed Swiss Chard sound great! I’ve shared two things this week – a GF and healthier version of German sweet potato noodles and, in honour of National Raisin Day, a how-t0 for raisin date spread and Chocolate Bread.
