How to Wear Animal Print for Fall 2025: Outfit Ideas to Try
Animal print is one of those timeless patterns that ebbs and flows with the trend cycle, and it’s definitely having a major moment for Fall 2025. I’m seeing it everywhere right now—from high-end designers like Reformation and Veronica Beard to more budget-friendly spots like Old Navy and Gap Factory, and everything in between.
Today, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite finds and styled them into outfit ideas to show just how versatile this trend can be.
Spotted: The Perfect Fall Top
A printed blouse is one of the easiest ways to add animal print into your rotation. Pair it with jeans for an everyday look, or tuck it into tailored pants or a skirt for the office. Keep the rest of your outfit simple so the top can take center stage.
For this look, I styled a ruched funnel-neck sleeveless top with chocolate brown coated wide-leg jeans, then topped it with a cropped wool jacket in soft taupe. I kept the shoes and bag light to let the blouse really shine.
A leopard print jacket instantly elevates even the simplest outfit. Throw it on over jeans and a tee for errands, or layer it over a dress for date night. It’s an easy way to make your fall wardrobe feel fresh and on-trend.
I love how Gap Factory reimagined this denim jacket in shades of grey instead of the usual earth tones, and the jacquard texture gives it an elevated touch. I leaned into the monochrome palette by layering it over a black tee with washed black jeans. Black boots polish off the look, but you could also swap in sneakers to keep it more laid back and casual.
If you like to push the envelope with a bold look, an animal print dress can be surprisingly versatile. Keep it casual with sneakers and a denim jacket, or dress it up with heels and gold jewelry. It’s a one-and-done piece that makes a big impact with minimal effort.
For this look, I chose a zebra-print shirtdress with a wrap-style skirt and added knee-high boots in rich chocolate brown to ground the outfit. Since the dress is the statement piece, I matched the bag to the boots for a cohesive finish and let the print take center stage. A few classic gold accessories complete the look.
I’m cheating a little with this one—we couldn’t find a flat image of these jeans, and I loved how EVEREVE styled the outfit, so I grabbed their photo.
These leopard-print kick crop jeans have a muted pattern, which makes them less intimidating than some of the bolder options out there. I love how pairing them with a camel sweater and brown Mary Janes keeps the look subtle yet chic—a very wearable take on the trend.

Animal print reads as a neutral, so if you think of it that way, it can pair with any color. It always helps to keep the tones similar (ie, wear warm colors with warm brown animal prints; and cool colors with black/white/gray animal prints). Personally, I love to wear teal with my brown animal prints. 🙂
I do the same. I think it looks great with deep jewel tones like burgundy, forest green, etc. I also think it looks elegant with ivory and subtle accessories.
Hi Jo-Lynne, this trend is right up my alley! Although my wardrobe is mostly solids, I have an animal print item in nearly every category of clothing/accessories, and I have various prints (leopard, cheetah, tiger, and even giraffe). I wear them year round. As far as what you featured, I love the top, the denim, and many of those accessories!!! 🙂
