Mother’s Day is coming up, and if you’re starting to think about gifts (or drawing a complete blank when someone asks what you want!), I’ve got you. I rounded up a mix of things that feel thoughtful, useful, and actually worth giving (or receiving!).
This is basically my “Favorite Things” list, with a Mother’s Day spin.
Meaningful Jewelry
Jewelry always feels like a special gift, especially when it has meaning behind it.
My Bryan Anthonys Sea Seeker Pendant is perfect for the woman who loves the beach, and they also have a beautiful Mom Heirloom Coin Necklace. The Our Light Necklace would make a lovely pairing with that.
I also love the Made by Mary birth flower necklaces for a delicate, personal touch, and the Jane Win coin pendants are another great option. They come in two sizes, the quality is beautiful, and you can choose from meaningful words like Hope, Grace, and Strong.

If she likes to make more of a statement, you can’t go wrong with the Lizzie Fortunato Rodan Pearl Earrings in Tigre. And I’m always a fan of Jenny Bird jewelry—I wear my Florence Earrings all the time, and I have the Sofia Bracelet and Chunky Duone Hoops on the way.
Beauty & Self-Care
These are the little luxuries most women won’t buy for themselves—but always appreciate receiving. They’re also a great way to introduce her to something new.
Soft Services makes several of my favorite pampering products, and the packaging is really lovely, too. The Theraplush is the best overnight hand cream, and the Carea Cream is my go-to body lotion. I’m also excited to try their Vacation Buffing Bar.

The Perricone MD Neuropeptide Brightening Under-Eye Cream is another great gift—especially for anyone focused on skincare.
Lake pajamas are always a beautiful gift, and the presentation is especially nice—definitely worth adding the gift box when ordering.
And I always love gifting a Hotel Lobby Candle—it’s one of those little luxuries that makes everyday moments feel a bit more special.
Cozy & Everyday Favorites
You really can’t go wrong with something cozy she’ll use every day.
The SPANX AirEssentials sets (I love the long sleeve polo top with the slim straight pants) makes such a great travel outfit or elevated lounge set.
Speaking of travel, my all-time favorite Athleta Pranayama Restore Rib Wrap is 25% off right now. I’m actually kicking myself for not bringing it on this trip—it’s perfect for throwing on over pajamas in the morning or wearing with shorts on cooler evenings.

For the beach lover, I love the Aloha Day Tripper Tote—it’s lightweight, water-resistant, and so practical. And the Zestt travel scarf is another great add-on that works for travel or everyday.
A Few Splurge-Worthy Ideas
If you’re looking for something a little extra special, these are such beautiful, elevated pieces.
I recently got these YSL square sunglasses and they’re gorgeous—one of those pieces that instantly makes an outfit feel more polished. I also included the J.Crew large handknotted packable tote (it’s actually 30% off right now!) and my Clare V. Grande woven leather belt bag. It’s such a fun piece for travel or everyday—easy to wear and adds texture and interest to simple outfits.

The Frank & Eileen Jackie T-Shirt Cardigan is another standout. The slightly boxy silhouette, elegant buttons, and their signature raw-edge hem give it that relaxed-but-refined feel that works with just about anything.
Under $50 Gifts
A few smaller gift ideas that still feel special:
The Fresh Sugar Rosé Lip Duo is a great option—it includes both the Sugar Lip Treatment and Lip Oil in a soft rosy tint, so it’s equal parts pretty and practical.
This “Sea Sun Sand” Zip Pouch is a fun, beachy little gift that’s still super useful for travel, makeup, or everyday essentials.
And everyone’s favorite medicube face mask is another easy win—one of those things people love but don’t always think to buy for themselves.
A Few More Fun Finds
Finally, how fun are these Keds Maisie Mary Jane in the printed stripe twill? Such a cute, playful option for spring and summer—perfect with jeans, shorts, or casual dresses.

And the J.Crew Factory beach sweater I’m also wearing here is another favorite—lightweight, easy, and perfect for throwing on over a tank or swimsuit on cooler mornings or evenings.

Love these options! You shared your daughter has smaller size Hope Jane Winn necklace. On the site it is not the easiest to see how the two sizes compare. Would be helpful to see them side by side. Would love to see picture of you two wearing it side by side. : )
I think the larger looks more like fun statement piece. Do you think the smaller size if more versatile? I’m trying to decide which size as I’d like to order from your link for Mother’s day!
Thanks for all you do as you are an inspiration and have helped me with defining pieces I feel really good/confident wearing!
I definitely feel like the larger one is more of a statement. The smaller one is not small. For example the Bryan Anthony’s sea seeker pendant is much smaller.
The Zest organics travel scarf: I’ve had my eye on it for a while. Do you actually use it while on vacation or only for the airplane or train “travel days?” It looks cozy and warm but also rather big. Would love more details on that one. Thanks!
(I’ll be in Switzerland the end of October and temps will most likely be cold.)
I brought it to Sarasota last year and wore it to dinner with a sleeveless linen dress. But it’s a bit cozy for Florida so I don’t bring it this time. I think it would be perfect for Switzerland tho! It isn’t what I would call large. I used it as a blanket on the plane to Italy and wished it was larger. It’s a nice mid-size.
Thank you! I’m still debating between that one and a cashmere scarf. I think I may want more warmth but not sure.
Great post! May I ask what size Athleta wrap you wear?
Hi Juliet, it’s a small but it’s old. If I ordered a new one today, I would probably get a medium. The arms fit rather snug.
Thank you!
