The countdown is on, my friends! Christmas is just a few days away, but there’s still time to pick up any last minute gifts you need at your local Nordstrom with their Buy Online Pickup In Store option.

I rounded up a bunch of last minute gift ideas at the end of this post, but before we get to that, this is an outfit I wore to lunch with a friend last week.

This cozy v-neck sweater has such pretty details, and it’s a great price point. It also has no wool content, so it’s a nice gift for anyone who can’t tolerate that. It runs true to size with a generous fit, and it comes in three other colors if red isn’t your thing.

I typically steer away from red and black pairings at holiday time because it’s a little overdone, but I made the exception this time. I feel like the crop flares keep it modern.

These are the Mother Insiders in Not Guilty, but mine have a sewn hem. You can also check out the Mother Hustler if you prefer a slightly longer length. They both run true to size.

I accessorized with gold. This Kendra Scott layer necklace is so pretty in the neckline of a v-neck sweater, and my earrings appear to have sold out, but these filigree hoops are similar. I actually have those in the silver. Both would make nice gifts for ladies on your list!

I topped it all off with my black wool blend reefer coat. This is a classic winter wardrobe essential that I’ve had for a few years, and I plan to have it for many more. I love the sleek, single-breasted style and the small lapels.

Best of all, everything I’m wearing in this post comes with Nordstrom’s generous return policy. If something doesn’t work out, you have up to six months to return or exchange it.

If you need your order right away, you can opt for store pickup or their buy online, try on in store option. Or better yet, choose curbside pickup, and you won’t even have to get out of your car! And there’s always a gift card. It isn’t as personal as a wrapped gift, but most people enjoy shopping for their themselves, and the Half Yearly Sale usually starts right after Christmas.
