When I want to give a practical gift, I usually get something for the kitchen. These pots are shockingly lightweight, and so easy to clean, but only the Perfect Pot is oven-save. Do NOT put the Mini Perfect Pot or the Always Pans in the oven. However…
Evidently, Our Place heard our cries because they did launch an oven-friendly Cast Iron Always Pan this year!
I was hoping they would eventually come up with something like this, and it’s even better than I anticipated. The Cast Iron Always Pan includes a built-in spatula, silicone grips, and clear lid so you can see what you’re cooking. And it moves seamlessly from stovetop to oven, making it much more versatile than the original Always Pan. Plus, it’s just so pretty.
I’m also happy to tell you that all of the Our Place pots and pans work with an induction cooktop. That’s what I have, and it’s not a problem at all.
As if that’s not enough, Our Place also launched Ovenware this year. This Ovenware Set includes an Oven Pan for baking and roasting, a reusable Oven Mat, and a trio of stoneware baking dishes. Best of all, they’re all designed to fit neatly together to maximize storage.

I also love that the edges are high enough that you can really cook anything on it that goes in the oven. Cleanup is a breeze with the non-stick surface, plus it’s beautiful enough to serve in. This is such a nice upgrade to my aluminum sheet pans. I’m definitely going to need more than one!

Hi Jo-lynne,
Thank you so much for all your work putting together the holiday gift guides! One quick question, do you have a warm glove rec for men? We live in Iowa and my guy is looking for a good pair of nice, warm gloves. I looked up your men’s gift guide but I don’t think the ones you recommended would be warm enough for our cold winters, ha!
