Refresh Your Top Drawer with Soma

This post is sponsored by Soma. Thank you for supporting the retailers that support this site.

We all know that a properly fitting bra is the foundation of good style and every flattering outfit, and the new year is the perfect time to refresh your top drawer… especially when Soma is running a Buy 2, Get 1 Free Sale on their bras*!

*This promo excludes Bodify and National Brands, but strapless Soma bras ARE included in this one!

Even if they’re the right size, if your bras are looking tired and worn, they are not doing their job. This is a great time to take inventory of your top drawer and see which bras you need to update or what other styles you may need to add to this very important wardrobe category.

I often shop at Soma for my pajamas and underwear, but did you know they also have a wide range of bra styles and sizes? I was seriously impressed when I went online and started looking through all they have to offer.

From wireless styles and bralettes to lifting and full coverage bras, Soma has a bra solution for every occasion.

I’m a practical woman when it comes to my undergarments, and most days I wear an everyday t-shirt bra. This is the most versatile style of bra, in my opinion, because it looks good under almost everything.

The Soma Vanishing 360 Perfect Coverage Bra has an amazing fit, plus the ultra-thin neckline and 360 smoothing technology assures that there are no unsightly lumps and bumps under your t-shirts or stretchy knits.

It has flat hooks at the hook-and-eye closure, with four settings instead of the usual three for a more customized fit, and elastic straps that adjust in front! I’m so glad to see more bras offering this feature these days.

But what really sets this bra apart from the rest are the vanishing edges and the way it’s cut in the back. It’s seriously like magic.

I mean, look how smooth it looks in the back under this stretchy knit sweater. And it provides a really nice lift and shape in the front, as well.

When you want more lift and/or pretty details for a special occasion, the Embraceable Enchanting Lace Front-Close Push-Up Bra is as beautiful as it is supportive.

I love the way they designed the straps, and they’re also convertible so they can be worn crisscross in the back when you wear cutaway or racer-back style tops.

This bra also provides a front closure for easy on-and-off, and a super soft and stretchy fabric on the back that feels good against the skin and doesn’t create any lumps or bulges the way traditional back straps often do.

The lace isn’t rough or irritating to the skin, and it has super soft push-up pads and a plush underwire with adjustable soft brushed straps for added comfort.

Speaking of comfort, when I want gentle support for lounging or sleeping, the Enbliss Bralette has quickly become my new favorite.

This bralette comes in tons of colors, and the cups are removable, so you can choose to wear it with or without.

There are no wires, hooks or hardware of any kind, so it feels like wearing nothing, but it gives just enough support so you can feel modest if you’re wearing pajamas or loungewear in front of friends and family. I also like to wear it without the pads when I sleep.

In addition to these three styles, Soma also offers a variety of wireless and unlined styles, as well as strapless and sport bras too.

Whatever you’re looking for, Soma has a perfect-fitting bra solution; and their Buy 2 Bras, Get 1 Free Sale is a great time to try a new style or stock up on your favorites!

  1. I really like the first bra because of the back part. You’re going to be an hour drive from me when you’re in Austin. I live north of Austin. Today is going to be nice and warmer. It’s supposed to be a lot colder tomorrow and the weekend. At least you’re going to be inside. I hope you have good rest.

  2. I’m glad you are taking the time to get away for you. I’m sure it is much needed. Have a great time. I don’t have IG so will be looking forward to your blog post when you get back. I’m hooked on the Warner bras for now that you shared, but will look this post over as I’d like to get a bralette. Need a good workout bra too, that is without the uniboob. lol.

  3. Two years ago I went for my first bra fitting (crazy that I. never did this before) at Soma. The saleswoman was amazing. She totally understood what I wanted/needed, great fitting, and I came home with a couple of new bras (you mentioned them both above). I still don’t like underwire, but I know I need it most of the time. Soma bras are quite comfortable and look great under clothes.
I also love their cool nights sleepwear (it’s all I wear as I tend to get hot when I sleep) and their vanishing edge panties. They are so smooth and invisible.
Have a wonderful time in Texas, relax and enjoy!

  4. I’ve been shopping at Soma since their inception. Love their bra fitting service and bra options. The Vanishing Back bra is GREAT and was the first Soma bra I purchased. I also like their vanishing panties and the PJs are wonderful. I’m a loyal fan and shopper.

  5. When I saw that black sweater on you yesterday, I think in your Instagram post, I instantly fell in love with it! I just took my monthly Emgality shot for my migraines and it HURT, so I treated myself to this sweater! 😂🙈 It will be great to wear for my daughter’s birthday party next week. ❤️

  6. I have recently started reading your posts been very helpful in getting myself “up to date” and current. I have lost 60 lbs this last year so have to buy new clothes. Great problem! I am 70 years young and have bought my first leggings, they are very comfortable. Problem I have had a couple people tell me women my age shouldn’t wear them, only 50 and younger. What are your thoughts? Thank you!

    1. Hi Karen, congrats on your weight loss! There are no age restrictions on articles of clothing. 50 is just an arbitrary number. Who on earth made up that “rule”? I mean, I personally don’t love leggings worn as pants on any woman, regardless of age, but if you like the look and you wear them in a classy way, there is no reason you can’t wear them at 51 or 55 or 70. Have fun shopping for your new wardrobe!
