Spring Date Night Outfit: Pink Blouse, White Jeans & Pumps
Hello, friends! Today’s outfit is perfect for a lunch date or a semi-dressy event in the spring or summertime. (Or in my case, a blogging conference! I’m planning to pack this outfit for Dallas next week.)
I’m in white jeans again, but this time I’m dressing them up with a bright pink blouse and nude pumps.
Joie Berkeley Silk Top $198 (I also like this Keyhole Crepe Blouse $69)
DL1961 Florence Skinnies in Milk $178 (or try the LOFT Modern Skinnies $69)
Charles David Pact Pumps $75 ON SALE!!! (or try a similar style at Payless $19)
my Stella & Dot Arabesque Chandeliers $39 and Becker Cuff $79
Twist Lock Shoulder Bag $20 (dupe for Chloe Drew $1850, no joke! lol!!)
nails: CND Romantique over CND Cake Pop (1 layer each)
This is the Joie blouse that came in my first trunk from Trunk Club. It’s a bit of a departure from my typical style, but I love the feminine details — the delicate pleats around the tied neckline and the gathered sleeves. The fit is flattering, it can be dressed up or down, and this freesia color is stunning. It also comes in a pale pink, white, and navy.
I paired it with white jeans, but I think it would also be adorable with dark wash blue jeans, and of course you could dress it up with trousers if you work in a professional environment.
These are the DL1961 Florence Skinny Jeans in Milk. I love that they have a slightly higher rise than most of my other jeans, and the leg line isn’t quite as skinny as some, so they work well with heels or ballet flats. They’re nice and thick, not see-through at all, and they don’t stretch out as you wear them.
The Pact Pumps by Charles David are a great mid-priced leather pump, and they’re currently on sale 25% off, bringing them down to $75. They have a 4-inch heel, so keep that in mind, but I find them quite comfortable for high heels, and they’re gorgeous.
It was pretty windy at the park where we went to take pictures, so we came home and took a few more in the front yard to make sure we got some good ones. As it turns out, the windy ones weren’t too bad, so I’m sharing some of each!
I accessorized with gold jewelry, and I carried my little white Twist Lock Shoulder Bag.
See how cute the blouse is from the back. I love the pleats around the neckline and the gathered sleeves. Also, the hem hangs slightly lower in the back than in the front for a flattering fit.
I had my stylist at Trunk Club send it back in my 2nd trunk, after I returned the one I got in my 1st trunk. I decided to splurge because it will be perfect for the two conferences I have coming up next month. For a less expensive option, check out this Keyhole Crepe Blouse.
I love this outfit, although I think I might swap out the pumps for wedge sandals when I’m in Dallas next week. I also have my new Kate Spade crossbody that just came in from their surprise sale last week, which I will definitely be bringing along!
