Hello, friends! Today’s outfit is perfect for a lunch date or a semi-dressy event in the spring or summertime. (Or in my case, a blogging conference! I’m planning to pack this outfit for Dallas next week.)
I’m in white jeans again, but this time I’m dressing them up with a bright pink blouse and nude pumps.
Joie Berkeley Silk Top $198 (I also like this Keyhole Crepe Blouse $69)
DL1961 Florence Skinnies in Milk $178 (or try the LOFT Modern Skinnies $69)
Charles D Pact Pumps $75 ON SALE!!! (or try a similar style at Payless $19)
my Stella & Dot Arabesque Chandeliers $39 and Becker Cuff $79
Twist Lock Shoulder Bag $20 (dupe for Chloe Drew $1850, no joke! lol!!)
nails: CND Romantique over CND Cake Pop (1 layer each)
This is the Joie blouse that came in my first trunk from Trunk Club. It’s a bit of a departure from my typical style, but I love the feminine details — the delicate pleats around the tied neckline and the gathered sleeves. The fit is flattering, it can be dressed up or down, and this freesia color is stunning. It also comes in a pale pink, white, and navy.
I paired it with white jeans, but I think it would also be adorable with dark wash blue jeans, and of course you could dress it up with trousers if you work in a professional environment.
These are the DL1961 Florence Skinny Jeans in Milk. I love that they have a slightly higher rise than most of my other jeans, and the leg line isn’t quite as skinny as some, so they work well with heels or ballet flats. They’re nice and thick, not see-through at all, and they don’t stretch out as you wear them.
The Pact Pumps by Charles D are a great mid-priced leather pump, and they’re currently on sale 25% off, bringing them down to $75. They have a 4-inch heel, so keep that in mind, but I find them quite comfortable for high heels, and they’re gorgeous.
It was pretty windy at the park where we went to take pictures, so we came home and took a few more in the front yard to make sure we got some good ones. As it turns out, the windy ones weren’t too bad, so I’m sharing some of each!
I accessorized with gold jewelry, and I carried my little white Twist Lock Shoulder Bag.
See how cute the blouse is from the back. I love the pleats around the neckline and the gathered sleeves. Also, the hem hangs slightly lower in the back than in the front for a flattering fit.
I had my stylist at Trunk Club send it back in my 2nd trunk, after I returned the one I got in my 1st trunk. I decided to splurge because it will be perfect for the two conferences I have coming up next month. For a less expensive option, check out this Keyhole Crepe Blouse.
I love this outfit, although I think I might swap out the pumps for wedge sandals when I’m in Dallas next week. I also have my new Kate Spade crossbody that just came in from their surprise sale last week, which I will definitely be bringing along!
Be sure to visit Cyndi and see the spring outfit she’s styling today!!!

Ohhh, I love that color on you. It makes your skin glow!!! I hope you have fun in Dallas????
Love the top! I’m a red head so that color doesn’t look good on me . But I bought yesterday’s sandals !! Loved them can’t wait till they come!
Not to be an enabler, but it does come in navy. 🙂 LOL!!! I hope you love the sandals!
Lol!! Love navy too! Between u and Cyndi I’m gonna go broke! Haha love all the outfits !!
How did you second Truck Club box turn out? Still haven’t pulled the trigger on signing up yet.
That is such a pretty top Jo-Lynne, and as you stated, very versatile. With your dark hair, that’s a great color for you. If you wore flats with the outfit, would you keep them neutral? If not, what color would you go with?
Good luck with the MRI! Larry has the MRI on his back this afternoon, which probably will be extremely painful, since he’ll have to lay down.
Have a blessed day!
This looks sooo pretty on you! I like everything about the top! Do you know if it’s only available online, or does the store actually have it? Is yours a medium?
Great outfit! I love that pink color on you! And I was just thinking I need to invest in a pair of white skinnies. Now I am even more convinced! Beautiful look! – Amy-
See? We all agree…that color is perfect on you! I think that shirt is the perfect one to wear almost anywhere—-even with jeans & sandals—it’s kinda like an upgraded t-shirt!! (I also find I wear my splurges more to get the wear/price ratio more even!!—it’s hard being thrifty!!) jodie
These jeans are awesome on you, and I love the hot pink top with them! I must cave in and invest in at least one pair of expensive jeans. The nude pumps and gold jewelry is a nice touch!
Gorgeous top!! Love the colors! I’ve been eyeing the gold cuff as well. Great way add a little glam to any outfit.
I always forget to pair my jeans with pumps!
What a difference they make versus flats (my too-often go-to)!
Elevates the whole outfit!
Love the bright pink!!
This is my favorite outfit on you! Good choice on style of white pants/no rips. 🙂 You look gorgeous in that blouse! Have a great time on your trip.
LOL! Thanks, Jill! 🙂
Love this !!!!
You look absolutely beautiful in this outfit! I’m a flats girl but I may have to try the pumps for a date night.
Thanks, Sharon! I prefer flats usually, but pumps do elevate an outfit when you’re going out. 🙂
Love the outfit but best of all is your creamy complexion. Your skin is incredible. That fuchsia (which I had to learn how to spell for this comment) just accentuates your flawless face! I want your beauty regimen and your results.
You consistently leave the most uplifting and encouraging comments. xoxoxo
I am loving my Rodan + Fields, but I also have a very skilled photographer. 😉 #dontgettooclose ha!
