This post is sponsored by Saks OFF 5TH and Collective Voice.

Happy Monday, friends! Saks OFF 5TH is running a 25% OFF $150+ (reg price) promotion 7/11 – 7/16, and today only they’re giving their Rewards Members early access to this sale on their wide selection of designer brands. It’s free to join, so shop now before inventory gets depleted with promo code EARLY! (This excludes clearance and selected brands.)

Whether you’re packing for a relaxing vacation or dressing for a special occasion, Saks OFF 5TH has everything you need at unbeatable prices, and I styled two very different looks for your summer style inspiration!

Calvin Klein sheath dress (8) // Calvin Klein heels (8) // Elleme pebbled shoulder bag // Kate Spade earrings

My first look features this chic squareneck pleated black sheath dress in a thick scuba fabric.

You all know that I’ve been all about the dresses this summer, and I love the seaming through the waist and the way the sleeves are designed to cover the outer edge of the shoulder. Plus it’s such a nice, ladylike length.

It has an exposed gold zipper up the back, which I wish we’d captured in one of these pictures, but you can see it well on the website.

This dress runs true to size; I’m wearing the 8. Shop more summer dresses here!

Saks OFF 5Th also has a really nice selection of Elleme bags at great prices. I also found this elegant pebbled leather shoulder bag in a versatile shade of tan. It’s the perfect size for dinner out, or it could work for an everyday bag if you don’t carry a lot.

It has a luxe suede lining and gold tone hardware, with feet on the bottom to protect the buttery soft leather, and it’s made in Italy.

To keep this classic look up to date, I wore a pair of strappy summer heels, with a walkable 3″ heel. These are very comfortable, with a padded footbed and squared-off toe.

And these kate spade new york huggie hoop earrings are the perfect subtle complement to this sleek LBD.

There are so many other options for accessorizing this dress. You could glam it up with rhinestone strap sandals and a clutch, or take it to a business dinner with classic slingback pumps. Whatever you need to go with it, I’m sure Saks OFF 5TH has it!

My second look is far more casual! This time I’m styling an everyday summer shorts outfit that I would wear just about any day of the week, whether I’m working from home or running errands or hanging out with friends on the deck.

Marine Layer sweater tank (M) (option) // 7FAM shorts – priced as marked (29) (sale option) // Sam Edelman slides (8) (option) // Mar Y Sol tote // Drop earrings // Jimmy Choo sunglasses

This stripe sweater tank immediately stopped my scroll when I was perusing the Saks OFF 5TH website. I love the gorgeous color palette, and it’s very much on trend at the moment with the shades of pink and orange.

I love the short length and the split hem, and it has just enough coverage to wear a regular bra. I didn’t want it to fit too snug, so I ordered the medium rather than my usual small, and it worked out perfectly.

Unfortunately, this sweater is low inventory. Womp… womp… I also love the looks of  this Faherty crochet tank top. Both of them pair perfectly with white denim shorts.

This is the 2nd year in a row that I’ve found my beach bag at Saks OFF 5TH. I love this raffia tote with tassel trim by mar Y sol.

It’s the perfect size for a day at the beach, a morning at the farmer’s market, or a chic carryall. I used it all last week in Ocean City.

And my Sam Edelman sandals were another major score. These are SO comfortable. They have a padded footbed, and the straps are soft and comfortable, and because there is one placed close to the ankle, they stay on easily when you walk around. You can’t beat the price for leather! I also like this brown option a lot.

I completed this casual-chic summer look with a great pair of Jimmy Choo sunglasses and 18K plated drop earrings. The frames of these sunglasses have a hint of sparkle to the glossy black finish, which is kind of fun, and I love that the logo hardware is silver. That’s hard to find.

Don’t forget to use promo code EARLY to get 25% OFF your Saks OFF 5TH order of $150 or more!

  1. Italy
-glad you decided to simplify your purses with something more practical. Pick pocket people are fast and smart.
-bring TP rolls for traveling around throughout the day. You can get on Amazon or target in the small travel area. Also bring change because some restrooms require payment.
    – hand wipes
-it will be HOT so clothing needs to be light for entire family. You have a lot of black on your rack. Unless it’s linen you will be uncomfortable wearing it.
The wine, food etc in Italy is amazing. Enjoy!

    1. Karen, I agree about wearing black in the heat. I live in Texas and I don’t wear black in the summer. I did buy black linen shorts but only because they were linen and Old Navy didn’t have a light neutral color in the style I liked.

  2. The neckline is the only thing I don’t like about that dress. The cutout is too “boxy” (just IMO) for the way the width of the cap sleeves seem like you’re almost wearing a vest over it (lol). Everything else: length, pleating, accessories…love them!

  3. I love that black dress on you, in fact I saw that one or one very similar the other day and thought it looked like you; perfect outfit!

    1. Forgot to ask, are the SE white sandals TTS? I wear my normal size 7 in the Bay style but had to get 7 1/2 in the Griffin. Thanks!

  4. I have the Sam Edelman sandals in gold. So comfy and, as you said, they stay on your feet. Definitely in Italy you need a crossbody bag that you can keep close to the front of your body. You look stunning in the black dress!

  5. Just love all the dresses on you this Summer. I wish I had a place to wear them. I’ve only ordered a couple of the casual everyday ones. No major events this Summer for the dressy ones. You look cute in both these outfits. You nail it everytime.

  6. I just went back to yesterday’s post and the comments are there now. It’s not unusual for your comments to not be available when I check.
I also wanted to add to leave room for purchases. They have the most incredible shoes (yes, I bought a pair of the softest leather), and 3 pairs of leather gloves at a store across from the Spanish Steps, a beautiful scarf and a leather purse. Girl has to shop!
I love that black dress on you. It’s a very elegant, ladylike dress and it fits you perfectly.
