Tie Dye Summer Sweater

Happy Monday, friends! I’m headed out shortly to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I will share a bit on my IG Story, if you want to follow along. Meanwhile, I styled this casual summer-ish outfit.

I say summer-ish because I realize we aren’t all experiencing the kind of weather that is conducive to a long-sleeve sweater, but we get some chilly evenings here in Pennsylvania, and I love the juxtaposition of a sweater with shorts.

Usually I pair a long-sleeve sweater like this with shorter shorts, but I kind of like this one with these Bermudas. These shorts are the ones from Old Navy that I shared a recent Try-On Haul. They fit a bit snug at first, but they do loosen up with wear, so I recommend going with your true size. I’m wearing the 6.

This sweater came from Evereve, and it’s very nice quality. It feels soft against the skin (the fabric is 60% cotton/40% viscose), and I love the pink and sand tie dye for summer. It looks very beachy-chic!

It has a boat neck and dolman sleeves, and it runs true to size. I have the small. Just be warned, this sweater does recommend dry-cleaning.

My sandals are the Freedom Moses brand, which is a new one to me. They look very similar to Birks, and they’re very comfortable with good arch support, but the buckles are not adjustable.

Because these are plastic, they’re water-resistant and great for the beach or pool, and they run true to size.

I finished the look with these gold chain link hoop earrings and a delicate layered necklace, and I carried my tan lines straw tote to keep the beachy vibe going.

This sweater should transition nicely into fall, paired with blue jeans and slides or mules. Maybe I’ll try it that way for a future post. Scroll on down to shop this post by clicking the desired images in the shopping widget.
