Happy hump day, friends! It’s time for another edition of What I Wore Lately. This is a roundup of my daily outfits from the past week.
It starts out with the day we had no power. I went to PT early that morning, and then over to Nordstrom to shop the Anniversary Sale.
I actually switched into these jeans before going into the mall because I knew I’d be trying on shoes, but I never got a picture of that look.
The next day, we got our power back, so I showered and got dressed so I could try on some of the Nordstrom order that came in the mail.
FYI, these Cole Haan sandals are 40% off.
The next day was Friday, and it turned cold and rainy, so I pulled out one of my favorite cotton sweaters. Unfortunately, the grey has sold out, and there are only a few sizes left in the pink and blue.
But I often get asked for sweater recs with no wool, and Everlane usually has some good cotton options. This one is on sale and comes in a pretty rust for fall. This classic cotton crew is nice, and this soft cotton square crew is a little more trendy and oversized. I just ordered this cotton linen v-neck — it looks like a nice one for summer and early fall.
I also debuted my new Sofft sneaker mules. These are so comfortable and a great price during the #NSale. I wore this to run to the mall, and later that evening to hang out with friends.
I spent pretty much all day Saturday trying on clothes, after I finished up computer work that morning, so I didn’t really have a daytime outfit.
Well, unless you count this. I’ve been living in this lately when I’m not going anywhere. Unfortunately, these #NSale lounge joggers sold out almost immediately.
I also caved and got another pair of Birks. I wear my other ones so much, and I thought it would be nice to have a more neutral pair.
But that night, Paul and I went out to dinner for our anniversary, and I wore this Everlane seamed tank dress. Sorry, the lighting in my room is always odd late in the day.
I love these wedge sandals. I haven’t had many opportunities to wear them this summer, so I pulled them out for the occasion.
We got R to take our picture out back before we left. I don’t have links for what Paul is wearing, although I could probably round some up.
Looks like someone should have ironed his pants! 🤦🏻♀️
That brings us to Sunday… I wore my new Eileen Fisher dress from the #NSale with these silver wedge sandals.
I was pretty lazy on Monday and hung around in my running clothes for the better portion of the day, but I finally got tired of smelling myself and got showered and dressed. It was probably mid-afternoon when I finally took this picture.
I didn’t go anywhere except to drop R off at band camp, but I put on minimal makeup and dried my hair. It’s amazing wha a difference a shower and shampoo can make!
And finally, I wore this yesterday to run to the mall to pick up an online order.
My sandals are 40% off, and this tee is from the #NSale and only $12.50. I also have the solid white and the black and ivory stripe. (TTS; I’m in the small.)
I also tried out my new Coach bag! This is one of the #NSale items I was most excited about seeing in person, and it’s really good. I love the quality of the leather and the functionality of the bag.
And that’s a wrap! Tomorrow, the #NSale opens to Insiders, so basically all cardholders. I’d love to hear what type of post you’d like to see from me.
I do have more try-ons I haven’t shared yet, or I can share some #NSale outfits, or just a roundup of The Best of What’s Left. (There’s a lot, don’t worry!)
Or I can just move on with diving into each category. I still want to do Best of Beauty and Teen Picks. Let me know!
