4 Affordable Summer Outfits with Gap Factory

** This post is sponsored by Gap Factory and Collective Voice.

As you probably know by now, Gap Factory is my go-to for budget-friendly women’s fashions, and they’re running a Friends & Family Sale from 5/10 – 5/16, with 50% off Everything + 50% off Clearance!

This Sleeveless Splitneck Mini Dress has been a top seller ever since I shared it in a Try-On Haul a few weeks ago, and for good reason.

The rayon fabric is lightweight, cool, and comfortable; and the large scale floral print isn’t too sweet.

The split neck design at the top is super flattering, and it’s not too low-cut that you couldn’t wear it to work or church. The tie waist lays nicely against the body without bunching or creating a blouson effect, and you can adjust it to your comfort level.

This dress comes in regular, tall, and petite sizes, and it runs true to size; I’m in the regular size small.

For a slightly more casual dress, this Stripe Pocket T-Shirt Dress is a nice choice for running errands or casual get-togethers this spring and summer. It makes a great alternative to shorts!

The 100% cotton slub jersey knit is comfortable and easy to wash and wear, and the patch pocket and seam up the back add nice details.

This dress looks great styled with either sandals or sneakers, and it is also comes in regular, tall, and petite sizes. Once again, I’m wearing the regular size small.

And then this Relaxed Print Splitneck Top is so nice, I bought it twice! Sorry, I had to…

Yes, this is the same print as the Sleeveless Splitneck Mini Dress I’m wearing above. I love how it pairs with blue or white denim.

The flutter sleeves give a nod to the current trends, without adding too much volume to wider shoulders. The soft rayon fabric lays so nicely, it almost reads as a cap sleeve from the front.

I paired this blue floral top with Gap Factory’s 4″ Mid Rise Destructed Stride Shorts, and I left it untucked for an easy, casual vibe.

And then here’s the burgundy floral Relaxed Print Splitneck Top with the Gap Factory High Rise ’70s Flare Jeans in a clean white wash for a more elevated outfit that you can wear to work or church or out to dinner with friends.

Here’s a better view of this pretty print. It’s burgundy with light pink flowers, and it also looks as good with blue denim as it does with white.

These flares give you legs for days, and they’re a great way to update your spring wardrobe without breaking the bank. The white denim is thick and not see-through at all, and they hold their shape nicely.

They have a mid-rise and come in short, regular, and long lengths. I squeezed into the 28 regular, but I would probably be more comfortable in the 29, so they’re pretty much true to size.

This time, I did a front tuck to accentuate my waist, and I also like how it shows off the front patch pockets on the jeans.

If you’re looking to update your spring wardrobe with quality pieces at affordable prices, Gap Factory has a great selection of current styles and wardrobe staples available in a range of sizes. Shop these and more Gap Factory summer styles below, and get 50% off your order through Tuesday, 5/16!

  1. Here’s another style suggestion…..I bought a black t-shirt dress from gap factory awhile back and I ordered too big (didn’t shrink like I thought it might) so I wear it with a black summer belt that I have and it looks great this way.

    1. Great idea Robin. Sometimes I’m in-between the XS and SM and end up with the SM a little big and I don’t like to dry my all cotton items.

  2. I’ve been looking for more t-shirt dresses, as I don’t like to wear shorts all the time. The black and white stripe was a good option but out of the size small I need. I ordered one yesterday from Old Navy to try, but I’m not a real fan of the quality of Old Navy, but I have one from last year that is still in good shape. I think a lot of time its how you wash and no dry with Old Navy. Thanks for the heads up on the Gap factory Sale. Do you think the quality of the factory is the same as the regular Gap? I’ve always wondered. The same with LOFT, do they have the same quality as the factory LOFT? Glad you all are okay. I was going to email you yesterday and check when no post went out, but decided to let it go. You need a day off without having to answer emails if you can’t post. Hope it was a good busy. I thought of Becca and was hoping all was okay.

    1. Typically, the factory stores carry a different line of products than their regular stores, but the general style aesthetic is the same. The quality isn’t quite as high, but the prices reflect that, and I feel like Gap Factory gives you a really good value for the price point. I’ve never had an issue with their garments holding up.

  3. I bought the white flares and blue print top last week. They should get here tomorrow. I have both dresses and the shorts in my cart, just deciding if these are things I *need* lol!

      1. So the white flares and blue top came in yesterday. I tried them on when we got home from our middle child’s last middle school band concert. I. LOVE. Them!!! The jeans fit like they were made for me, and my husband even said “Wow! I LOVE those on you! You look great!!” 😍

  4. I think Gap Factory quality is very good. I bought joggers and long sleeve waffle shirts for my youngest son who’s 14 and they wash us very well. The joggers have zippers and other nice features which I thought was really for $30 joggers. The fabric doesn’t pill and still looks good after weekly washings.
