Good morning and happy “hump day” to all of you! The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale just launched, and they have a ton of new additions to their sale section!
Not to be confused with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which is coming up in July, their Half Yearly Sale is a clearance sale.
There are lots of good deals on spring styles as they clear the racks for new summer inventory, and things are selling out quickly, so don’t wait around to check out.
I noticed some good Caslon pieces on sale, so if you’re in need of casual summer essentials, they’re worth checking out. I also found a bunch of handbags and sandals on sale, and there are some good basics if you need bras and underwear. And don’t forget the guys!
What to Buy at the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale
Wit & Wisdom ‘Ab’Solution High Waist Flare Jeans (40% off) // Dark wash denim with a subtle flare and utility pockets for a modern look.

Caslon V-Neck Knit Midi Dress (Up to 40% off) // An easy midi dress in a soft jersey knit with a drawstring waist, super flattering and pairs easily with sneakers or sandals. Throw a denim jacket on top for an extra layer. I’m wearing a small, but the waistband is snug, so you may want to size up if in between.
Vionic Merlot Sandals (33% off) // Vionic comfort support in a chic block heel sandal… on sale??? Yes, please! Size down, if in between. I have the 7.5.

Sam Edelman Bambi Sandals (30% off) // Adorable raffia slides with tortoiseshell buckle… every color way except the one I’m wearing here is on sale… naturally! 🤪 But I really like the Natural, and the blue and orange are fun too. These run true to size, or you may want to size up if in between, as I usually have to size down half in slides, and I did not with this pair.

Sam Edelman Irina Sandals (30% off) // I love these chic slides; I have the Pinto Brown, and I can’t wait to start wearing them, now that my injured foot is okay with that level of support. They have a bit of cushion in the footbed, and the quality is really nice, as you would expect from Sam Edelman shoes.

There are soooo many sandals in this sale. I could go on and on, but these are my top picks. (These chic Stuart Weitzman wedges are already on their way to me!) Also, don’t miss these adorable raffia block heel slides and the Toms espadrilles that were one of the top sellers from my comfort sandals roundup. And once again, I linked up various color** options.

There’s a nice selection of bags here from Tory Burch, as well as a couple of good finds from Rebecca Minkoff (this black shoulder bag with black hardware is so chic!), TUMI (perfect for travel!), and this splurge-worthy Ferragamo tote.

Do you like the pinto brown color of the Sam Edelman slides? On the picture above, they almost look black and I would prefer a brown. I have the cognac color in the heeled version that you recommended and love them.
They are dark. I would call a chocolate brown, which is making its way back into popular shoe colors. I have a gorgeous chocolate brown bag that I wanted to shoes to go with, lol. I think the cognac is a little more versatile.
