Today is Day 4 of 26 Days of Fall Outfits, and the leopard flats are back! I told you I’m having a hard time not wearing them with every outfit.
I love this cute mom-on-the-go outfit. I picked up the LOFT Autumn Anorak and Vintage Broken In Tee when they were having their Friends & Family sale last month. I knew they’d be perfect for fall. This jacket is super lightweight and unlined, so it’s great for the in-between weather that I’m SURE is coming. Ahem. It is coming, right??
Right now LOFT is having an AMAZING Labor Day sale. Unfortunately, neither of these items are included. Ba-dum-chhh… Sorry about that! But it’s still worth checking out. I have my eye on this cute “rusted ruby” Sweatshirt Tee, and this Mixstripe Pocket Blouse.
But back to TODAY’s outfit…
I love the quilted detail on the back of the anorak.
I decided to show my black quilted clutch in this outfit because I like how it draws out the black from the shoes. It would be perfect for going out to lunch with a friend, but of course I could carry a larger bag if I was going to be out all day. The clutch was a freebie when I placed a R Minkoff order last spring, so I can’t link to it, but any black clutch would be nice with this — or a larger black bag.
And again, the shoes. The more I wear these, the more I love them.
I wore my Arabesque Chandeliers and layered two delicate necklaces. I like having one to fill the U-neck and another to hang down over the t-shirt. Wearing a long pendant supposedly elongates the line of the body and makes you look slimmer, as does leaving a jacket unzipped to create that vertical column down the front of the body. I guess all those episodes I watched of What Not To Wear are finally coming in handy! Ha!
This is such an easy outfit to copy — jeans, solid tee in a fall color, khaki or olive anorak or utility jacket, leopard flats or another neutral flat, and some accessories. Boom! You probably have most of these pieces in your closet already.

Fashion Friday
My favorite so far! I love the soft look of the whole outfit.
YAY! I wasn’t sure about this one, actually. I mean, I know it works, but it seemed kind of drab. I’m glad you like it. I think the leopard flats save it. 🙂
Love those shoes. I just might need a pair 🙂
I think you do! I am serious, they seem to go with EVERYTHING.
I love love this!! Those shoes are calling my name, the scalloped detail is adorable!!
Thanks, Cyndi!

Thanks, Amy! I love them too.
This is a great look. Love the jacket, the necklaces, the earrings and those leo flats.
Thanks for hosting & have a wonderful weekend 🙂
Alex – Funky Jungle
Thanks, Alex. You too!
Love the entire outfit! This convinces me to purchase the tan jacket I have had my eye on. Now all we need are some cooler temperatures…..
I think they’re coming…. I hear it’s cooling down next week. 🙂
Ooooo those shoes, do they fit sizewise like the espadrilles from Sam Edelman? I think I need a pair!
I went up a half size b/c of the pointy toe, and b/c my espadrilles are sort of small on me. I think they’re best on narrow feet. Hope that helps!
Great Fall look!
I am so ready for fall!! I keep checking out your fall fashion posts. Love these leopard flats. I also loved the shoes you posted with the flannel shirt
Thanks, Sarah!! I love ballet flats, and I’m just so happy I can wear them again, now that my feet are doing better. 🙂
They have become my go to shoe too. I just wish I were a little bit taller..
Me too. I’m only 5’5″ and I really prefer to wear heels, but I can’t do that on a daily basis. 🙂
me either and I am 5′ 3′ We are shorties
Don’t know what it is about the leopard print, but I agre! Just wanted you to know I found you through this partnership with Cyndi Spivey and now I’m a fan!
I LOVE that jacket and I NEED those shoes. Super cute Jo-Lynne!!
Another cute outfit!! I really LOVE the leopard flats 🙂
Hi Jo-Lynne, I am a new follower and definitely will try to duplicate your outfit for fall. Love the leopard print flats! Thank you!
I wear my leopard flats as much as possible in the fall. I LOVE the ones you’re wearing! Really cute outfit.
So simple, but yet chic and so put together! I find myself reaching for my leopard print flats, too! I really like the scalloped detail in yours. I’m also a big fan of Stella and Dot. I like to layer my gold initial bar necklace with the long gold Rebel pendant! I see more Stella and Dot jewelry in my future!!
Have a great weekend!
Cute outfit, and you’re right- it would be easy to copy. 🙂
Absolutely adore your flats girl! Also, that clutch is perfect addition to any outfit I think…
Happy Medley
I must say this is a very stylish mom-on-the-go outfit. Love the jacket and those leopard flats are adorable!
Love the whole outfit. The jacket looks great on you. I got the jacket the other day but I’m thinking of returning it. It looks kind of blah on me and shapeless. I just threw it on over my shorts and tank. I’m going to try it on again with a fall outfit to see if it looks better because it looks so cute on you.
Try it with jeans, and roll the sleeves up. 🙂 I know what you mean. It’s intended to have that shape, though. It’s definitely not structured. I think you’ll like it with jeans – and maybe a top that is somewhat body conscious. Or the front tuck helps define the waist.
Love the color of your top – beautiful color on you! A great look overall! This honestly is my “uniform” throughout a good share of the year. 🙂
i love the colors on you! You always look nice but I think your hair is really pretty styled this way.
Thank you! It’s my “2nd day hair” style. LOL!!
