A lot of you mention wanting work wear looks, and after doing my reader survey, I realized that the majority of my readers actually work outside of the home. As you know, I work from home and my personal style aesthetic is on the casual side, so work wear looks really aren’t my forte. So I took to Pinterest, and I’ve rounded up 9 stylish summer outfit ideas for work to might inspire you.
I tried to link to similar items, but because there were so many outfits, I didn’t do a thorough job of representing all price points, sizes, etc. Hopefully these outfits provide you with inspiration as you shop your closet or your favorite retailers.

BONUS POST: This one is mine, but I wanted to include it because I think it’s cute for work. A sleeveless sweater is a little bit unexpected, but it’s a nice way to add variety and texture to your wardrobe. You can sub white pants if jeans aren’t appropriate for your office environment, and wear pumps if open toed shoes aren’t allowed. Outfit details can be found in THIS POST.

When I was working at the TV station… bright solid dress (shift or wrap) and nude heels were a go-to of mine! Thanks for hosting. Have a great weekend.
Really great work outfit inspirations, Jo-Lynne! I don’t work outside of the home either, but sometimes I like to pretend that I have a life outside of the house! So I would still definitely wear some of these looks, but probably without pumps on my feet!

It’s almost like you need two outfits for work in the summer—-one for in the car on the way to work (hot & sweaty) and one for at the office (freezing with the A/C)!
