A Game Changer Under Eye Concealer + More QVC Home & Beauty Finds

I have a love/hate relationship with under eye concealer. I have skin discoloration I like to cover, but it seems like every product I try settles into my fine lines to varying degrees.

Well, I just received the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer & Eye Cream w/ Luxe Brush from QVC, and this set is a major game changer!

It comes with three products – an eye cream, the concealer, and an application brush.

You start by applying the Bye Bye Under Eye Cream with its dark shadow minimizing soft sheer blue tint.

I clearly have makeup on here, so I’m just demonstrating how I gently dab it on the under eye area until it’s absorbed. It feels moisturizing and immediately starts to brighten area around my eyes.

Then the Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer is a full-coverage concealer that claims to cover anything and everything without creasing or cracking, and it actually does all of that. I am truly amazed. Even at the end of the day, my under eye area still looks bright and smooth.

I think this is due to both the formulation of the concealer and the Heavenly Luxe Double-Ended Concealer Brush that comes with it.

You use the flat end of the dual-ended brush to spot treat any areas where you want extra coverage, and then use the fluffy side to blend it out using circular motions.

In the picture below, I had already done the side on the right, and I’m actually applying the concealer on the left. I think you can see how smooth and bright my skin looks on the right.

But what’s truly amazing is how it looks after a full day of working and running around. I even walked the dog in the spitting rain this morning, and my eyes still look amazing here at the end of the day.

I would happily pay full price for this magical unicorn, but it is currently a QVC Beauty IQ Steal for $49.96. (The usual QVC price is $72, and if purchased separately, these products would be $103.50, so that’s almost a 50% savings!) If you don’t have an under eye concealer you love, I highly recommend trying this one.

While I was perusing the QVC website, I also found this ELEMIS Cleanse & Hydrate Holiday Set with two of my favorite ELEMIS products – the Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm and Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. This is a $130 value for $65, and it comes in a box that’s perfect for gifting.

And so the men don’t feel left out, this ELEMIS Mens Cleanser & Shave Set also caught my eye. It includes a Deep Cleanse Facial Wash that’s formulated with English oak bark, spearmint, and peppermint to cleanse the skin and remove impurities.

Then the Ice-Cool Foaming Shave Gel is infused with aloe vera, witch hazel, and English oak to provide a clean, close shave and leave his skin feeling smooth and refreshed. I’m not sure Paul has ever used a face wash, but he does like a good shave gel, so I’m planning to gift this set to him for Christmas. I’ll be curious to see if he likes using a cleanser too!

Also, QVC is doing a Gift with Purchase with select ELEMIS items. (Receive a 100-ml Frangipani Monoi Hand & Nail Balm with your credit card purchase of select ELEMIS items thru 12/31/22 at 11:59pm ET. One per customer, while supplies last.)

This hand and nail cream feels and smells amazing. I put it on this morning when we were shooting these pictures, and my hands actually still look and feel soft and moisturized. I’ll definitely be replacing this when it’s gone!

Okay, switching gears here for this last item. I get asked a lot for travel steamer recommendations, and I only have an industrial full size model, so when I saw this HoMedics PerfectSteam 2-in-1 Garment Steamer & Iron, I decided to try it and see what it’s all about.

You guys, this is such a clever tool! It actually steams OR irons your clothes because you can use it horizontally or vertically, and it heats up in 15 seconds!

I also love how it all fits together with a clever little carrying handle, and it also includes a drawstring bag for storage.

You just fill it with water (the little pitcher comes with it) and then you can use it as a steamer or an iron.

This is a great gift for anyone who travels a lot, but also people who live in small spaces, including dorm rooms. I have a feeling my college-age daughter will end up absconding with mine or asking for one of her own for Christmas.

I realize this is a bit of a random mashup of items, but hopefully something in this post will fill a need in your life, or help you cross something off your holiday shopping list!

If this is your first time shopping at QVC, new customers can get free shipping with code FREESHIP on their first purchase. And returning customers can get free shipping on all purchases* with code QVCGIFT. (*Max 15 purchases.)

  1. Do you use setting powder after the concealer? I use tarts shape tape concealer, which I like, but I need setting powder on top otherwise the black from my mascara and eye liner drops throughout the day and I look like a raccoon. The setting powder accentuates fine lines, so I’m still looking for a better under eye solution.

  2. I have been using this concealer for a few years now and love it. I also have Shape Tape but I think I like IT Cosmetics better. I use a Laura Mercier setting powder that’s very finely milled and has a white cast. It helps make my under eye bags invisible. 🙂

  3. Loved this post. I am going to order the shaving gel and face wash for my adult son. I do have a question with regard to the Bye Bye underage. I had purchased just the concealer several years ago and had a hard time getting it out of the tube. I even cut the tip larger and always fought to get out the tiniest bit. Is it still hard to squeeze out?

    1. Not at all. I actually was going to warn you to be careful because a little goes a long way. I had way too much on my finger in the picture above; I used that on both eyes and it was still a little much.

  4. This is a combo of thanks… I LOVE the shape tape from Tarte (game changer to quote you!), the pink striped sweater (you bought the green one) from LOFT is my new ‘go to’ top, SO soft and stylish but the Sheec socks are AMAZING!!
After your crazy week, rest on your laurels for a brief second and know this follower truly appreciates your posts!!
    Thank you!!!

  5. I’m so glad to know that I’m not the only one with a husband who doesn’t use face wash! 😂 (I mean, he does wash his face, just with whatever soap is in the shower 😱 lol) And that steamer/iron is very interesting!

  6. Couple of questions.
    1) does the steamer/iron burn your hands with the steam? I have a full size steamer and if I get my hands too close (like around the hems when Im pulling them tight etc) – ouch!
    2) I don’t wear makeup. Can the concealer be worn alone without it being obvious? Or do you have to use foundation over it?

Great post by the way. Lots of good products.

    1. 1) No, not at all! 🙂 And I know what you mean, I had one before and I had to be careful with it.
      2) I can’t say for sure, as I haven’t tried it, but the day I took these pictures, I put the concealer on over all my makeup, while we were shooting pictures, and I wore it the rest of the time for shooting other photos, and I never put powder over it. So it can probably be used without makeup. I can try this morning and see. 🙂
