Hi friends! I’m back with another post in our 2025 Fall Fashion Trends series, and today it’s all about accessories. I’m rounding up the best bags, belts, jewelry, and more, and sharing the styles that feel current and wearable for everyday women like you and me.

Accessories are probably the easiest (and often the most affordable) way to update your wardrobe for the season, but they tend to get overlooked in trend reports. I hope today’s post inspires you to add one or two new pieces to your rotation, and also reassess what you already own and edit out what no longer works.
Bags That Make the Outfit

Handbags always set the tone for the season, and this fall it’s all about rich textures and relaxed shapes. The suede revival is everywhere—whether you carry a hobo, tote, or crossbody, suede instantly adds depth and makes even the simplest outfit feel a little more luxe.
I’m also seeing a big shift toward slouchy silhouettes, which feel easy and modern compared to the structured, ladylike shapes we were loving for a while. And if you’re in the mood for a little more fun, animal prints are popping up in everything from statement clutches to everyday carryalls. It’s such a simple way to add personality without going over the top.
Jewelry: Sculptural Shapes & Layered Details

Jewelry is going bigger and bolder this season, with lots of texture and architectural shapes in the mix. I’m seeing chunky bangles stacked together, along with layered necklaces that mix different materials for extra depth.
Chains are still there as well, but the look is evolving into sculptural, chunkier links and unexpected silhouettes. I’m also spotting suede cords with oversized pendants (a little ’70s throwback!) and plenty of chunky hoops with artful curves and organic details.
It’s all statement-making but still totally wearable. I’m usually a delicates girl myself, but I’m leaning into a few bigger pieces this fall just to change things up.
Belts: Suede, Studs & Statement Styles

Belts are definitely having a moment this fall, and they’re anything but basic. I’m seeing everything from wide waist-cinchers layered over blazers to sleek styles worn with denim, and the details lean bold—soft suede textures, grommets and studs for a little edge, and Western-inspired buckles that nod to cowboy-core without feeling costume-y.
Animal prints are popping up too, and I love how they add just the right amount of contrast to an otherwise neutral outfit. Even if you’re not a “belt person,” slipping one on can totally change the vibe of your look.
Shoes as Statement Accessories

Shoes are stepping into the spotlight this fall, with details that turn everyday pairs into outfit-makers. I’m seeing embellished flats and pumps finished with polished studs, grommets, and even multi-buckle straps for a little extra edge. Animal prints are going strong too, showing up on everything from loafers to sneakers, and they’re such a fun way to ground a neutral look.
And speaking of sneakers… they’re getting in on the trend as well, with playful twists like mismatched laces in two different colors. It’s a good reminder that footwear doesn’t just complete an outfit—it can be the conversation piece.
The Return of Scarves

Scarves are making their way back into style right now, and they’re more versatile than ever. The biggest trend I’m noticing is silk squares—tied at the neck for a chic accent, knotted in your hair, or wrapped around the handle of a favorite bag. I’ve also seen them worn as a belt.
It’s such a simple accessory, but it instantly adds a pop of color, pattern, or texture and makes even the most basic outfit feel a little more styled. Sometimes the smallest details really do make the biggest impact.
To Wrap It Up
From slouchy suede bags to bold jewelry, statement shoes, and the return of scarves, fall 2025 accessories are all about those finishing touches that make an outfit feel fresh. You don’t need to overhaul your whole wardrobe—just try adding one or two of these trends into the mix. Whether it’s swapping in a slouchy hobo, layering on chunky bangles, or tying a silk scarf onto your bag, the right accessory can completely change the vibe of your look.
Which ones are YOU excited to wear???

I’m loving all the browns for fall!
Accessories are so FUN!
Enjoy your time with your girls💕💕💕
I love all of it!!! I recently bought a pair of brown sneakers from Target that came with two sets of laces and while I think they are so cute I couldn’t figure out how to tie them. I appreciate so much the images you included here of the more expensive brands tying two bows. Dog! That seems obvious now but Target didn’t have an image like that I really was unsure!
Dog is autocorrect for “duh!”
I love using accessories to amp up an outfit! Scarves have always been a favorite, so I’m happy to see them gaining popularity again, especially the long silky ones used as a belt. And chunkier necklaces and earrings. Enjoy your time in Nashville with your girls.
I love the suede trend, which I am doing with accessories. I also love classic shoes with a little detail, which makes them interesting. Almost all my shoes make a subtle statement. Scarves, love, but only in winter where I live, as it’s too warm the rest of the year to wear them. The big jewelry and belts are both a pass for me. I find them uncomfortable.
I’m alittle ahead of the game–I bought the leopard print belt a month ago from Evereve–it may seem $$$ but its very well made. I do think it runs abit small. I could get away with the M/L but it was on last hole–I popped in store to return for next size up–they were out and had to order it for me. I tried on a similar style there that was L/XL and that felt like it should be smaller! I swear I must be between the sizes! But I would suggest you go up in this if you think you are a M/L–I think the M/L is more like a S/M–leaning S.
I’m still waiting for it be mailed to me–they are slow!
I’m loving the chunky jewelry!!
Jazzing up an outfit with a fun handbag or a pair of shoes is what I enjoy. I do wish that the fashion industry would not change what’s on trend and what isn’t so often. I think they’re trying to keep us buying new every season and donating often.
Jo-Lynne,
Where can I find the necklace which is pictured with the bracelets at the top? Scrolled to the right and I saw numerous other ones, but not the simplistic one with what I would call the rope pattern and the gold with the semi knot.
Thanks!
This one? Not sure how it got missed. I meant to put it in the widget. https://shopstyle.it/l/ct1Hb
That’s the one. Thank you! 😊
I love suede everything, scarves are fun, statement shoes are amazing, and I can even deal with belts I think. But I’m really disappointed to see bigger statement jewelry coming back around. It just screams “old lady” to me and reminds me of the chunky necklaces and earrings that were in style years back. I feel like delicate jewelry is a lot more feminine and easier to wear on a daily basis. Looks like I’m in the minority on that opinion though.
Hi Jolynne, I’m curious about the olive toned mary janes that are on the far right of your header graphic. I don’t see those in the widget, can you share a link?
