How exciting to be heading to England. Are you going as a family ? I think I missed this somewhere along the way.
Hope your allergies improve🙏
No, it’s a women’s trip with Walkabout Tours – https://www.discoverwalkabout.com/england-2025-1
I can’t recommend the Kur polish enough. Love it, it’s legitimate! And I even had my sister start using it. Totally recommend.

Also, safe travels to my home country. Can’t wait to hear what you ended up wearing, what you wished you brought, and what you absolutely didn’t need.
Enjoy!!
Good to know! And thank you!
Thanks for all the great info! I was wondering what size you are wearing in the Gap Factory linen skirt and vest? I’ve been trying so many vests to get the correct fit! Thanks so much! Are you using anything new with fragrance in your house? Seems like it might be there somewhere. Hopefully it won’t bother you in England! Looking forward to pictures from your trip!
It’s the medium. And I think it may be the cut flowers sitting on my counter… I just moved them, so we’ll see!
Safe travels and hope you feel better when you wake up on the morning. Can’t wait to see pics and hope you have a wonderful trip!
I bought the Catrice Eye Brightener. I don’t have dark circles, just deep-set eyes. This does make my under eye area look brighter without any creasing. A little goes a long way, and I wear it under a small amount of concealer.
That’s great!
I agree this is a great product. I’ve bed. Usu b about 9 months & it helps a lot w/my dark circles!! It’s inexpensive & a great product to have in your make up bag!!
I have the Jolie shower head and I absolutely love it! It’s definitely worth the investment. Have a great trip and safe travels.
Good to know, thanks for the feedback!
I love the Touchland hand sanitizer sprays! I keep one in all my bags. So great for when out to dinner after touching the menus!

Since you said you felt better when leaving the house, I wonder if you’re allergies are from all the clothes you buy. All new clothes have chemicals in them to make them look crisp and protect from insects. I wanted to know why new clothes are so nice and wrinkle free when new but once you wash them they’re not the same. So I did a Google search. I forgot what they call the spray they use on them to make them look crisp. I know with your job you can’t wash the clothes but it’s recommended to wash new clothes before wearing them. I know some jeans have a chemical smell that’s hard to get rid of. I can go in some stores and smell the formaldehyde. It’s doesn’t happen to me anymore but whenever I would go into a mall my eyes would get red and watery. My doctor said we can develop allergies even with things we have been using for years. It’s happened to me with skin products. Just my thoughts. I hope you figure it out and get better.
I think it’s the flowers sitting on my counter, but I have wondered if I am poisoning myself with chemicals on all the new clothes I wear. 😕
That’s why I ALWAYS wash new clothes before wearing them. It amazes me that some people don’t.
I hope you have a wonderful trip. This trip has been on my bucket list for a long time.
I hope your allergies will take a rest for you. Nothing is any more annoying than a runny nose. Thank you for the Loft post. Have fun and be safe!
Do you have scented candles or strong smelling flowers such as lilies? I became allergic to them a few years ago. I realized what was causing it once I left the house and felt fine. Removing the flowers settled it down and not having scented candles anymore 😢 solved my dilemma. There are even some stores that I walk into, then have to leave ie soaps…
Safe travels to England!
LIGHT DAWNS!!!! I think it’s my Mother’s Day flowers! They’re sitting on the counter RIGHT in front of me. That reminds me, this happened over the holidays, and I realized one day that it was our Christams tree. We took it out, and immediately I got better.
That’s good you figured it out it’s the flowers. Who wants to be allergic to new clothes. 😊
I had the same thought about the allergies. I recently realized that a particular brand of scented hand sanitizer was causing mine—I handle cash at work & was using it frequently there but not elsewhere, & my sniffles disappeared when I left work. I’m glad it may be the flowers & not something harder to avoid! Enjoy your trip to England—I visited the Cotswold on a 50th birthday trip to the UK, & the area was lovely.
I’ve been using the Londontown Probiotic and the Get Strong Nail Hardener for a couple months now and my natural nails are the healthiest they have been. Enjoy your trip to England.
I’ve been using Londontown Kur polishes for quite awhile now. Both the Illuminating Nail Concealer and the Perfecting Nail Veil are really nice. They leave the nails looking smooth with a subtle hue and a nice sheen. The variety of neutral colors are lovely, too.
I now often use the Kur products more than the other brands. Recommended!
I like the Almay, oil free, makeup remover for vacations. When I’m packaging with a carry-on only, I take what I need and put in a small plastic bag. That way I don’t have the big container in my luggage.
We have a well, with fairly hard water. We have a filter in the garage, but sometimes some minerals and sand still get through, and also can affect the pressure. I’ve had yellow places in my hair in the past, where the water hits it the most. I don’t color my hair. It’s naturally blonde with some gray beginning to come. Anyway, after trying several shower heads, I finally found one I like, also sold on Amazon. It is the Makonda Filtered Shower Head with Handheld & High Pressure Ion Drops Shower Head with 75″Stainless Hose for Hard Water. It comes with little filters (10 of them!) you can change out. There’s a little window where you can see if it needs to be changed. I am happy with the pressure (3 settings) as well. The price is only $32.99!
Thanks for the recommendation!
I love the black(?) outfit you have on in today’s post…can you send me the details?
Safe travels!!

I use the Catrice pink under eye brightener and I love it! I won’t go without it. I do put a little of my color corrector under my eye and then pat the Catrice pink just in the inner corner. I dust a teeny tiny bit of the Elf pink powder on top.
