August has arrived, and back-to-school season is in full swing. Around here we have a few more weeks before school starts, so we’re starting to stock up on school clothes and shoes, and soon we’ll be shopping for school supplies.
My girls and I were invited to visit our local Justice to do some back-to-school shopping and check out their new and improved shopping experience. Yes, Justice just got a huge makeover, including a transition to simpler pricing and more classic styles.
A copy of the latest Justice catazine (catalog + magazine) arrived in the mail before our store visit, and the girls had fun looking through it and picking out some things they wanted to try. I was curious to visit and see what had changed, so we headed over to our local Justice earlier this week to check it out.
In anticipation of our visit, the stylists at our local Justice store pulled looks for each girl and had them hanging on a rack when we arrived. There was alsosignage and messages on the mirrors of their dressing rooms to welcome us. The Justice staff went out of their way to make us feel like VIPs, and the girls had a blast.
I immediately noticed that the store looked different. It’s still bright and colorful, but it seems more organized and the displays are cleaner.
They’ve also simplified their pricing. It’s more straightforward now, and they have introduced Style Buys — a special collection of fashion essentials at smart prices, like these basic t-shirts for $7 and jeggings for $20.
I love their updated styling, and so do my girls. Like take a look at this adorable outfit. I mean, I would wear this.
After they tried on the outfits that had been selected for them, they scouted out more cute looks from around the store. The stylists were incredibly patient and worked hard to make sure they found looks the girls love. Here’s what we came home with.
C is 12, and she loves maxi dresses. This Chevron Flounce Maxi Dress is perfection on her. It will be perfect for church and school programs, and she can throw a cardigan or jean jacket on with it when the weather gets cooler.
When I saw this Saturday t-shirt, I knew she’d love it. My other two kids like school, but C lives for the weekend. The material on this shirt is INCREDIBLY soft. I seriously want one. Plus, it’s a Style Buy right now!!
Denim on denim is a popular trend this fall. Wouldn’t this Embellished Collar Denim Shirt with the Tribal Print Scarf and Knit Denim Skinnies make a perfect first day of school outfit? Okay, so it will probably be too warm for that here in Pennsylvania on August 31st, but she’ll be wearing it as soon as fall weather arrives. I think this is her favorite of the outfits we brought home.
I am in LOVE with this long crochet cardigan, and it’s 30% off right now. This is a great example of how Justice has upped their game and changed their styling to appeal to older girls as well as the younger ones.
Finally, C chose this Fringe Poncho. It’s perfect over a long-sleeve white tee with skinny jeans. I can’t get over how grownup she looks. Sniff. My baby’s going to middle school! And of course Savannah had to make an appearance. The girls always beg to have her in their back-to-school photos.
Moving on to what R picked out…
This kid is all about comfort, so she immediately honed in on the Active Shop at Justice. She loves these Printed Crop Leggings with the hooded Positive Message Tee.
This little graphic tee with the striped waterfall cardigan is another outfit that I would totally wear. R doesn’t like jeans, so I was thrilled to find these knit jeggings that have the look of jeans. She loves them and got a pair in black and grey.
Another graphic tee with a waterfall sweater, I like that this outfit has short sleeves so she can start wearing it right away. Not only does it stay warm in PA well into fall, but our elementary school is not air conditioned, so the kids will definitely want short sleeves for a while. Of course with the cute little doggie on the leggings, R HAD to have this outfit.
Finally, these printed leggings and graphic tee will keep her comfortable all day long, and she fell in love with this little fringe crossbody bag with a B on it.
I think it’s safe to say that we’re getting into the back-to-school spirit around here! We had such a great time shopping at Justice this week. Not only do we love the changes they’ve made to the store, but my girls had a blast being treated like VIPs for an afternoon.

Disclosure: I’m partnering with Justice to help promote their Back-To-School collection. All opinions are my own.
Your daughters have great taste in clothing! I love the outfits they curated and am sure they are gonna rock their back to school season!!
Your girls are growing up! My oldest (she’s 22) found a Justice store 2 hours away from us when they were first starting and no one knew of them. She loved that she had these clothes, and no one else did. In her day, the “it” store for girls was Limited Too, which, I believe, started Justice. Now she can’t get over how big the store has become and all the girls shop there.
That’s too funny. I remember when my girls were too LITTLE to shop there. They were dying to be old enough to fit the clothes.
Cute! I love the styles for older girls, my oldest is almost 11 and she has felt that the styles have been too babyish recently. The new styles for older girls are cute though so I think she will really like them!
Yeah, you should try and see!
We loved Justice when my daughter was younger…glad they are keeping things fresh! We stopped using them when she got older and also…their stores started to have a super weird chemical smell??! Did you notice that ?
LOL, no, I haven’t noticed.
So beautiful the kids outfits and nice pics.
Many greetings from Germany

Thank you!
ADORABLE, I didn’t know justice had such modest, fashion forward pieces!
Thanks for sharing all the great outfits. Your girls look so pretty! My daughter loves Justice as well and I agree they did a great job with the new look in the stores!
Wow – what great outfits your daughters picked out! My nieces live in Seattle and love Justice! They kindly pass along their outgrown clothes to my daughter and she is always so happy to receive them as we don’t have a Justice in Canada (yet).
What great outfits your girls found! They have fantastic taste.
Your girls are really growing up. I remember the back to school shopping so fun! Great outfits and sweet Savannah will certainly miss them when they go back to school.
What awesome picks! I love their looks – so stylish, yet age appropriate (which as a mom I especially love)! 😉
