It’s been a neutral kind of week, I guess. I didn’t realize that my last three outfits have been so drab until I saw them all together on Instagram. I wanted to wear my leggings today, but most of my longer sweaters are at the dry cleaners, so I was stuck with this taupe tunic.
I tried to jazz it up with my leopard scarf. It looks goofy because I was in a rush to get my pictures taken before my husband had to leave for work. I wish I’d had more time to fuss with it, but you can get the general idea.
Then, rather than going for my typical black riding boots, I decided to try the outfit with my brown ones instead. I like how it came together. I considered carrying a bright-colored bag for a pop of color, but then I decided to stick with the neutral color palette, so I carried this small crossbody in yet another shade of brown. Gold earrings and bracelets were the finishing touch!

Nothing goofy about it. Love it!! The colors work together beautifully.
I like the brown boots with the black pants. There’s more of a contrast, so you notice your nice boots and the leopard scarf bring the two colours together. You always manage to bring a casual outfit up a notch.
