So . . . about not posting on Saturdays. It’s a hard habit for me to break.
It was a relief when I had nothing specific I wanted to share, but now that fall is in full swing, I’ve got post topics and pictures piling up!
So today I’m sharing a fall wedding look, as well as my top weekend sale picks — because there are some really good ones, including my favorite AG Primas from the #NSale back on sale!
I shared this polka dot wrap dress in last week’s Try-On Haul, but I re-ordered and returned one that had been tampered with. If you recall, someone had moved the snap!
This one fits perfectly, although the snap is barely holding on. I will use a bit of fashion tape to make sure it is secure and not pulling in an awkward way when I wear it for real.
I love how this dress has the wrap styling but it isn’t a true wrap. It is sewn closed at the waist, and then it zips up the back for easy off and on. And isn’t the ruffle detail on the front such a pretty addition?
This dress was originally $149, and it comes down to $80 when you add it to cart! For size reference, I’m wearing the 6.
For accessories, I wore an opal pendant and mixed metal drop earrings.
My earrings are sold out, but they’re the Jenny Bird brand from Nordstrom, and I really like them. These are sort of similar.
I added a Kendra Scott cuff and my Tory Burch mixed metal watch, and I wore nude strappy sandals in order to keep the dress the focal point of the look.
This is the perfect outfit for fall events like an afternoon wedding, baby shower, or even for going to church or out to dinner for a special occasion.

Such a pretty dress on you!
I love the dress, so pretty. It’s a nice surprise to see a post on Saturday, Surprises are great. 🙂 Have a great weekend.
love the dress color and polka dots
I love wrap dresses! I think they are flattering on most body types. It certainly looks fab on you.
That is one great fall dress! Perfect for the occasions you mentioned. And of course, you look stunning! Fall is definitely in the air up here too. It was 46 this morning, brrr. I usually have my coffee on the front porch, but chickened out, since it was breezy as well as cold! Enjoy the weekend!
Always happy to see a post from you in my in-box! The short sleeve poncho sweater from Loft—how does the sizing run? I’m often a medium in Loft’s cardigans but I’m unsure about the poncho style.
It’s TTS, or a little bit. I have the XS/S and it’s plenty big.
Perfect timing! I have an outdoor wedding the end of the month and I was just thinking I need to make some decisions, or start ordering options, today.
I really like how you styled this and I think with more formal jewelry etc. it could look even dressier.
I love a surprise Saturday post!
The polka dots are fun.. this dress kinda reminds me of Pretty Woman:) We are awaiting the arrival of hurricane Dorian today which should be it’s worse tonight and overnight being a category 1-2 …
Enjoy your weekend and it’s nice to hear from you on Saturday’s.
Yes, this dress gives me all the Pretty Woman vibes!
That dress is super-cute on you! It is NOT fall down here in Arkansas….it’s supposed to be 100 today and tomorrow and in the 90’s next week….😜. Ya’ll enjoy your cooler temps! 🔥🔥🔥
Yikes! Well, this dress would be perfect for that! No need to figure out a topper. 🙂
What type and color of a sweater or jacket would you wear with this? You look fabulous in the dress!
I always struggle with that, truth be told. I actually think it would be cute with a denim jacket for church or dinner, but not a wedding of course. I’m open to ideas! There’s always a pashmina. https://shopstyle.it/l/7Lgz
I love surprises so was happy to see a Saturday post…
This is definitely your style dress – so flattering and love the color –
We’re waiting for fall to hit Texas ….
I bought a very similar faux wrap dress from Banana Republic (but in an animal print) but am tempted to get this one too! We’re feeling the fall breezes here in NY too! Xo Nipa
I love this dress and it looks great on you! What I love about it is the length, it seems so many dresses are just a little too short and also the color is so unique, I love it. I like that it’s not a true wrap in that you don’t have to worry about it opening and sometimes causing awkward situations!
Yes, to all of that! 🙂 It really is a good cut and length.
This dress is so cute!!
That dress look great on you! I tried it on in store and it was too short on me – hit right below my kneecap and looked awkward. Our weather is hot hot hot! 🔥 yuck yuck yuck! I probably shouldn’t complain since we’ve had a pretty mild summer overall, but I don’t like this awful heat!!
Your weather always surprises me!
Jolynne this is a Beautiful Dress. It looks perfect on you. I hope this is dressy enough to wear to the upcoming wedding you have been talking about. Perfection!!! As always, I enjoy your blog. Glad y’all are getting some cool days. It’s still pretty hot still in North Carolina. I’m a little late commenting on this post. We were out of town yesterday at a Car Cruise In, in another part of the state. Always busy on weekends. Need a weekend at home. Hope you are having a Great weekend. Blessings! Linda W.
That sounds fun!
Love this dress on you!
